Fantasy Bitter Spite - OOC Chat

There, curses. Immature, sport. Listening is tad more difficult if the speaker's acting irrational. So, what you want me to do, is cap him at 500, at about half a millennia, in terms of age, because you're butthurt of a person exceeding two millennia in terms of age and its creator talking in cryptolitho? Jeezus Christ, you're ten kinds of stubborn. You could've just stated it normally.
I did state it normally.
But you were too busy talking in ways no living human besides Dante Alighieri could understand.
But I used curse words and you listened to me.
Woah, technology!

He explained that very clearly. If you want to be 2000 years old or whatever just go start your own RP

I would tolerate a 2000-year-old if they're fucking crippled and unable to fight but had large amounts of wisdom.
Do you realize how powerful he fucking is? 2000 YEARS OF LEARNING MAGIC
TWO
THOUSAND
YEARS
THAT'S ENOUGH TO CREATE A NEW SCHOOL OF MAGIC

Tbh a 2000 year-old animated head in a jar that just gives snarky comments on the current happenings would be a great sidekick.
Which reminds me...

Like a emo teen who just learned his first curse. Attention-drivel.

Let's see here; about nowhere did I mention that he created his own school of magic, or that he's serious enough to have really garnered 2000 years worth of knowledge. The tablet is a predetermined amount of power. Without it, he starts aging, and as mentioned, turns insanely mediocre. Everything is, I believe, clearly pointed out.

He explained that very clearly. If you want to be 2000 years old or whatever just go start your own RP

Nope. He didn't. Utilitarian judgement is a GM's job, and above all, it isn't his position to rectify a user by pointing him to a RP of his creation. Outside of this RP, nothing should matter.

Dibs on the 2000 year old wise guy that does nothing but back talk

That is Apostolo. His biggest trait is his cunning, not magic powers that work half the time. He's a bloody goofball, for crying out loud.

As per section 10 of the RPN Site Rules, "Roleplay Creator Rights" I hereby declare that, as it is within my rights, I reject your character and kick you from this RP.
I warned you one last time and you still insisted.
I decide whether your character is too old or not.
Goodbye now.

I'll post in a day or two, happy reading along for a lil' bit.

Are we all expected to join up in a group eventually or do we have freedom just to figure things out as we go?

The first group should be a good 3-4 people.
More people can join as we go though.

Usually, the character age limit for High Fantasy is hanging around 450 years, and that's only for special races like Elves, and stuff. Unless you stumble upon a powerful Necromancer. They might be immortal and/or very, very old (several thousand years) but necromancy usually has some shitty side-effects, like rotting, growing weak, amnesia, turning into a monster, having your soul become dark, etc. That's the ultimate goal of pretty much 90% necromancers, to be fair.

And the "what about vampires" argument doesn't apply. In VTM, all vampires above 1k years usually fall into a permanent or at least very long-lasting torpor. Other times, their thirst for blood increases to the point where they become rabid monsters. Even vampires don't have true immortality in fantasy.
