The metal is incredibly hard but has unmatched toughness. The hawks weapons are light, sharp, and very durable. Any weapon forge by this material will last a warrior who wields it a lifetime: Unfortunately for shikoba, This metal only occurs one week the entire year. Towards the end of the season, Shikoba is forced to rely on his (name of metal) claws due to his shortage of (name of metal) feather blades."

I am actually really glad that you kept up with it all, it shows that you are at least interested in my ideas, so for that i am flattered. This is actually true, I didn't think of the owl idea until later. The way I kind of tie it together was for some reason, the owls gifted the hawks with the knowledge of how to forge it. Thats why hawks have no written records of its technique. It was only passed from one tribe to the other verbally. Also, you should know that that passage is written from hawk historians who don't have any knowledge of another wellspring of this gift from tulé, or for its true purpose: A weapon capable of combating ameta's mistake.
