  Personal History/Background: Tyler was born in a strict family. They looked down on his interests and his career choice. After years of ridicule, he moved out of his home and began a career as a guitarist. At first, it was hard living on his own but after a brief adjustment period (that involves lots of instant noodles and coffee) Tyler eventually got a sweet house of his in the city. It was pretty small but he didn't mind. As long as he had the band and he could attend wrestling shows, he was happy.

  Personality: At first glance, Xander is the most stereotypical bad boy there is. He has the "I don't give a shit" attitude and isn't afraid to get into fights with others. Nothing seems to phase him. His mood is either playful and happy or pissed and deadly. There is rarely an in between. However, with those who can stand his temperament, Xander is actually a very loyal friend and would do anything to protect those he cares for. Despite his flirtatious attitude, he isn't a fuckboy either. Overall, Zan is just a guy who hides his true feelings with a daredevilish and outgoing personality.

  History: From the start, Xander was in for a bumpy ride. His parents divorced when he was 7 and he was forced to live with his father while his mother moved on and eventually married a wealthy businessman. His father was quite the opposite and couldn't move on from the relationship. The man became depressed, never doing anything aside from laying on the couch all day and watching sports. Xander had to constantly provide for his father, and was often bullied when he had to explain that his father didn't have the will power to do so much as to move. He didn't have a terrible life, but he quickly learned to depend on himself, as well as help others, and learn to ignore the criticism that always followed him.

Personality: – Zara is a very social creature who loves making new friends and maintaining her older ones. She's very much a people person and one main reason why she wanted to join a band and play music was to make people happy, but that wasn't the only reason. Zara also loves music and is very creative in writing her own material. While there's a lot of negative in the world, Zara tries to stay positive and hopes that she can make the world a better place, one performance at a time.

Personal History/Background: - Zara grew up in a middle class family with her parents and her brother. Unfortunately when Zara was five years old, her mother was diagnosed with cancer. A year later, she passed away. This hit her and her brother very hard but her father was affected the most. While her dad went through a depression, he still remained a good parent to Zara. Shortly after her mom's passing Zara started gaining an interest in music and kept wanting to play her mom's guitar. Zara's aunt began giving her piano lessons and she went to an outside tutor for guitar lessons.

By the time Zara reached junior high, she was pretty good. Because Zara was very smart and was skilled in guitar, she was admitted into a very prestigious private school, after her brother attended there while having a scholarship himself. Zara then got another scholarship for a private high school. She was doing very well and while she wasn't super popular, she still had a good group of friends. Despite being a model student however, trouble struck at home when Zara's father committed suicide by hanging himself in their garage. Since her brother was no longer a minor, Zara was still allowed to live with him.

Zara graduated high school with honors and is now a performing arts student at a university (university name TBA). She still lives with her brother in a two bedroom apartment. Zara works as a barista while Gunn works as a mechanic as she tries to pursue her dreams to be a musician, maybe even a rock star... if she can even get that far.

Character notes:

- Zara met Holly in middle school one fateful day when Zara overheard Holly playing piano in the music room, Zara was in 8th grade, Holly was in 6th. Zara loved Holly's playing and began trying to befriend her (probably much to Holly's dismay). Holly and Zara are socially polar opposites but both have the common love of music. Sometimes Zara gets discouraged if Holly is being a "party pooper", but still likes having Holly as a friend and band mate.

He may be the guy who falls asleep first at a party, which could lead to him having dicks drawn on his face in the morning. He's also drinks alcohol very rarely which usually makes him the designated driver of the group while everyone else gets shit faced.

Personal History/Background: - Mikal's parents could not have any children of their own, so they decided to adopt many children from around the world. Mikal is the son they got from China and he's the second oldest out of five kids. Mikal had a pretty ordinary childhood. He went to public school all the way through high school, he was of average intelligence, but he worked hard and got decent grades. In grammar school, Mikal had a very encouraging music teacher and when she reported to his parents that he had potential in music, his parents got him a keyboard for his tenth birthday.

Despite being pretty average academically, Mikal was very gifted at music. He loved to play, and sometimes the kids at school bullied him for being a stereotypical asian who was good at piano. This would piss Mikal off to no end. The bullying would happen on and off throughout his child and teenage years until he graduated. Now Mikal wants to pursue a career in music. Can he get noticed with his band and finally be able to quit his shitty job at Taco Bell? We'll have to see.

Character Note: Mikal lives in a crummy one bedroom apartment with his dog Butter. Butter is a pug that Mikal's parents gave him as a graduation present.

  Personality: While he looks the part of a rebel, with a cigarette in his mouth at any given moment, he's no such thing. The only thing he's actively rebelling is having a good time, it always feels like. He's a bit of a hard-ass and terrible at expressing himself, so when he cares about you, you're going to have to guess because he sure as hell isn't going to say it aloud if you're not very close. The same can be said about those he doesn't like- he's unlikely to get riled up, or express hatred past a frown, but he's an expert in avoiding and giving the coldest of shoulders. Despite all of it, in the end he really does care about his friends, quietly putting in some of the hardest work to try and get the band afloat. Partying always has him awkwardly smoking against a wall, but he just needs a push in the direction of the liquor cabinet (sometimes literally) to get things in the right gear. Really, it's not so much that he's an asshole in any way, and more that he's kind of socially inept and trapped in a business-oriented shell, stemming from his upbringing. One day he'll finally hatch from it.

  Family: A father, a mother, and a little brother he has barely any contact with. The relationship between him and his parents is strangely uncaring, and almost impersonal, but they seem to support him so long as he doesn't get too far offtrack in life. They'll wire him money when he's in need of it, but he supports himself well enough for that to not be a problem. It'd be a miracle if any of them would say 'I love you' to one another.
  Background: He had a good childhood, if not a bit of a strict one to get him on the right track. His family had always been wealthy. His hair was always cut short and neatly brushed, his clothing always prim and proper wherever he went. His parents heavily disapproved of his talk of playing any sort of instrument, but inevitably gave in when he proved his grades were good enough to allow extracurricular activity. They purchased him his bass guitar, and whenever he had the chance, he would practice. The very first thing that he did when he moved out was get every accessory he'd desired for so long, piercing himself up and getting tattoos along his arms and back, letting his hair grow out and get cut how he wanted it, much to his parents' chagrin. But they had no place in dictating his life then, and didn't cast any judgment on it. It wasn't until a bit later in his life that he actually desired to be a part of something more than himself. It wasn't ever for the money (not money for himself, anyways), but more or less for the experience, even if it involved a lot of getting smashed at parties and doing things he'd usually not enjoy. Maybe it'll get him out of his shell and feel something more than the tedium of an office job. What's an edgy looking bass player without a band, after all?
  Character note: He actually has a pretty nice apartment, all clean and tidy with a few posters hanging in his room and his cat, Catrick Swayze. He never bothers to have anyone over, or no one ever asks if they can, so it's a little known fact.

Personality: – Skyler is a class clown. He's usually one who likes to try to lighten up the mood with his bandmates by telling a sarcastic joke or two. He's also usually the first one out of the dance floor, even though he dances terribly, he has no shame. But because he has no shame, he's very outgoing and doesn't get too shy around strangers. He also loves watching romantic movies for the character development and plot, and he cries at all the emotional parts, but he'd never tell anyone that. He's also not the brightest bulb in the box, but at least he's a nice person!

Personal History/Background: - Skyler was the first born of two kids, his sister Violet coming after him five years later. Skyler's dad was very abusive to his mother and his parents would have screaming matches very late into the night. Skyler and Violet would hide in his room while their parents fought and he would always try to comfort Violet with humor. He loved making his sister laugh and Violet enjoyed her brother's company during the tough times.

When Skyler got older, the abuse escalated over to him. His father would yell at him and even get physical, having stabbed Skyler's hand with a fork when he was just ten years old. Finally during his pre teen years, his mother found the strength to leave their father and took both kids with her. While the abuse and pain had stopped, the mental scars were still in Skyler's mind and had haunted him ever since. That's when Skyler began learning how to play drums, after his high school's orchestra teacher recruited him to learn, since he really wanted a drummer for the orchestra.

Skyler got very good with his instrument but the orchestra was just too slow paced for him, and that's when Skyler began getting into the rock genre and joining a band. Will his group win Battle of the Bands?
