cal's a healer, of sorts. i had hoped they could earn their place in the group by, well, healing, but if the magician can heal bone-deep, probably infected wounds on her own power then cal's powers are almost entirely redundant and they're relegated to quirky team mascot. which is fine, as long as i get to have fun writing them.

Oh now. Tell me again how your abilities are redundant in a supernatural world aimed at tearing everyone apart.

And beside. Cal is so distinctive. You’ve really made him/her stand out. I enjoy that.
