I hop off of the rock and hug Axel, resting my forehead in the crook of his neck. "I don't think I'll ever fully get over Lynx..." I say quietly and sniffle a little bit.


"You know Axel, you're not as bad as you make yourself out to be" I joke and hug him again before leaning against the rock "so wanna drink a bit? I can't finish this all by myself" I say, pulling out the little vodka bottle.


Jay Sloane •

I smile as she runs out. I manage to quickly catch up to her and tab her by the waist just before we get to the stairs "hold on a sec" I smirk and lean down to kiss her.


When we get to where everybody is I smile a bit "sorry about the freak out. I'm calm." I shrug a bit and sit down, pulling Morgan onto my lap. "So what is everybody doing"

I walked up to Miles (@Stamper) quietly and sat down next to him. "It smells terrible down here" I almost face palm myself Jesus that sounded stupid.

I chuckle, yea I was hurt a bit but as long as Della (@Dannygirl900) was happy I would be fine. "I'd never turn down a drink!" I take the bottle and take a swig out of it.​

Looking over as I heard someone, I see Winter sit next to me and to be honest, I'm kind of relieved to see her and know she was okay. I was also surprised she'd come looking for me in the first place. Though, she did look like she was crying and that was a bit troubling. I had a straight face up until she mentioned the smell. A slow smile broke out on my face and I laughed. "We can go somewhere else," I say, looking over at her. I wonder what she would say to me. Probably that I was an idiot. Maybe not to beat up a guy she's flirting with next time. Any of that is a pretty reasonable guess. I also notice Conner and Lola standing a ways away. What are they doing here? "Hey... I want to say I'm sorry..." I begin, looking off at the ocean again. I wasn't all good at this apology and sharing feelings stuff.

"Such an endearing nickname," I say sarcastically refering to what she had called me, smiling at Lola. It was true a lot had just happened but I really wasn't all that fazed. Judging by the way he treated Winter, I probably would have done the same thing. The only difference is instead of calling Lola, Winter would have had to call the hospital. A little later, the three of us were casually strolling along the beach, the sun beating down on our skin as we scanned the area for Miles. Lola noticed him first and urged Winter over. Then, it was just me and Lola, standing alone in the sand again. "Nah, I understand. It's cool that you don't bail on them though. That's how you tell your real friends from people that just kind of hang around," I say with a small shrug.

He (@Stamper) laughed at me being a loser, well that's good he's not too mad at me. Until he looks back at the ocean and apologizes. "It was my fault... I was so worried about you getting hurt and it being on me... just because I was jealous" I looked down at my hands, I really did blame myself for the fight I mean I was the one flirting with Ethan. "Why would you do that? You really could've gotten hurt..." I kept my head down looking at my lap as I spoke.​

I looked at the girl trying to figure out the rubix cube. Oh that's right... she was the one that's apparently desperate for me. I look at Carson and say, "Play another game, I'll be right with ya," and walk to the girl. "Ya know ya never gave me your name Miss... Desperate for Jack," I said, taking the rubix cube. "To solve the rubix cube, there's a certain pattern to follow. Just repeat a certain set of moves and you'll get it," I said, completing one side that had red squares. "After one side is finished, you switch to a different pattern," I quickly finished another side. "And for every side you get, there's a new pattern," I told her, already getting three sides. I keep working, my hands and fingers moving swiftly. Another side finished. "And so you just keep switching patterns..," I put the perfect rubix cube back in her hand and gave her a bright smile. "..Until you complete the puzzle." Being a bit of the wise as that I am, it did have its perk. I'm a quick thinker. I might not give you a quick punch but my mind will do it for me. I looked at the girl and raised an eyebrow that seemed to say "ah? What do ya think?"

I smile in amazement "the fuck..... how'd you do that" i say. i look up at him "Oh yah im Armina" i look at the rubix cube in my hand and toss it to the side "screw that" i laugh. "And whats the whole thing about me being desperate for jack.... Is that what you wrote on my forehead." i say laughing a bit. "I mean im not saying i don't find you attractive in both sexiness and personality but i wouldn't necessarily say im desperate" i smile looking at him.

I shrug "possibly but it's kind hard to see them from so far" i smile biting my lip a bit. I look at him still siting in the bean bag. I hear the video games loud blast but they are hardly noticeable at the moment being.

I look down at my phone, my dad is calling me, which is normally never good. I knew right off that something had happened, I got up without saying anything and walked outside. I listened to my father saying that my brother had gotten arrested, he didn't say what for, I started crying, I went to my truck sat in the backseat, locked all the doors and curled up in a ball and cried. After a few minutes instead of getting out and going back inside, I sat up and pulled my knees to my chest.​

I wake with a start. I peel my cheek of the book it was sticked to by drool. I check my watch. 8:17 PM. It read. I open the creaky door to my room and step out, shutting it behind me. I walk down the steps, looking around. My stomach grumbles. I look down at my stomach and twist my face up. "Yo guys! Are we going to a restaurant to eat or what?" I call out.

When did this other chic come in the room? Whatever, I really just need to pay attention to the game and keep the top of the scoreboard plastered with my name. I would kill to have a mic because I would trash talk these kids with no problem, but yelling at the screen will have to do. "God, just shove the controller up your ass and you'll play just as well." I tell the screen, "How's the weather at the bottom of the leader board?" I was ruthless when it came to video games and if I was disturbing people I wouldn't know unless I was told by them. I slammed the controller down and stood up, my shirt hanging down over my mid-thigh. "Sorry." I leave the room and walk downstairs to get something to eat.

I smile at him and move over so he can sit. "You know... if Lynx hadn't fucked me up so bad you'd have been my first choice in ninth grade." I nudge him a little when he sits.


I take a long drink from the bottle and hand it to him "I just... I wish I could take everything back" I admit. Shyly, I roll the sleeves for my windbreaker up and show him the now white circles where I burnt myself.


"I just. I don't know what's wrong with me anymore... why I try to change him when I know he never will change. He's Lynx, he's player, he parties and f*cks girls over. And I'm just... done."


I feel myself tearing up again "I haven't cried over anybody since I was fifteen years old. I learned to tune out my parents f*cked up relationship, I've tuned out the hurt Lynx causes, I tuned everything out." I feel the tears streaming now "I'm sorry. I don't mean to rant to you. But I feel like you might understand." I lean my head on his shoulder "I don't know what's wrong with me anymore."

I watch as Morgan runs off and sigh. Maybe I should just leave her be for a while? Maybe yeah. My stomach grumbles so I go to the kitchen and begin to make myself a sandwich. One thing about us stoner is that we make perfect sandwiches. We're about as good as women.


Once I have my sandwich I go back to where everyone is and sit in one of the seats, taking a bite, then sending Morgan a quick text "U okay beautiful?" I then light up a joint and proceed to devour the sandwich.

I notice the girl that was helping me calm down Della walked into the kitchen. I nod my head to her, grabbing carrots, onion, garlic, and zucchini. I walk into the pantry and grab Italian Season, vegetable broth, canned red, and cannoli beans, and finally canned diced tomatoe. I walk back out, setting everything on the table.

I turn to the girl again."This is a dish my father made for me before he died. It's called minestrone soup." I say smiling, grabbing a large pot from the cupboard. I grab some olive oil and pour about a tablespoon in. "It's be done in about 15 minutes." I tell her over my shoulder.

At this point I was perfectly fine, just way to lazy to get up, I got Jays text and simply replied "Yeah.." after it sent I forced myself up and out of the truck. I walked in and went into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water, I stood in the kitchen for a few minutes then went back to where everyone else was sitting, I walked over and sat next to Jay, and laid my head on his shoulder.​

I looked down at Dellas arm and saw the burns. I was shocked to say the least, I never knew how much Lynx was actually hurting her.

I wrapped my arm around her tightly "You'll be ok" I sigh "I know you'll be" I pull up my shirt slightly and gesture to a small scar on the top of my hip which led to a small trail of fading scars. "I was ok after a while but it took Winter coming in my room with pizza and catching me to get me to stop" I hug her close to me "you just need to find your Pizza Winter"

I'm gonna fucking kill Lynx later, he's hurting her in ways I didn't think possible...

"Only Lola and Winter know about these... it's the reason why Winter cried at school the other day. The day Lynx met that Mel chick... I think he likes her, a lot. Like he might go into a relationship with her. And knowing that I tried for four years to get him to actually like me, really f*cking hurts."


I quickly take a scratch at my arms before I pull my sleeves down and grab my pack of smokes. I light up a cigarette and fill my lungs until they hurt, then blow out the smoke. "I wish Winter would bring me pizza..." I laugh lightly and cuddle into Axel from the cold ocean air.

I watch as Morgan comes in and wrap my arm around her shoulder. When I take hits from the joint I make sure to blow the smoke away from her.


"Are you okay?" I ask her quietly into her ear. Her hair smells amazing. Like strawberries. I smile a little and press a kiss to the top of her head before quickly going to finish up with the already half way done joint.

"This is a dish my father made for me before he died. It's called minestrone soup." Thea said to me, it sounded really good and I was starving. "You should totally call me when you're done with it, I'll definitely eat." I smile at her, grab a bag of chips, a bottle of vodka, and head back upstairs. I walk into the game room and land onto the bean bag chair. Opening the chips, I eat a handful, then look over at the pink haired chick and the game dude, I never got his name, what the hell, Carson. "You're such a dumbass to not get such a hottie's name." I thought to myself and rolled my eyes. I then opened up the bottle of vodka and drank half of it in one drink. The room got a little fuzzy and things were loud, I relaxed. Honestly, I just wanted to love on someone like these other girls were doing but unless I was high as a kite or drunk as fuck, there was no way I was going to just walk up to one of them.

After the soup is done, I scoop it into a bowl and taste it. "Mhm. Perfect." I whisper before sipping it again. I fall down Carson (@ShadowMoses) like I said I would, then head to the game room where a pink haired girl and they boy I let in were chatting. I roll my eyes and walk past them, curling up in a love seat by the fireplace to sip my soup.​

I chuckle lightly. "Hey speaking of Winter, you know what could perk you up" I take out my cell phone and open it "Pictures of Winter in 9th grade on the cheerleading squad" I think to myself to aplolgize to Winter later because her preppy cheerleader self isn't really who she is at all now. She was best friends with Lola and Della while she was like this but she also was friends with the preppy kids.

I giggle a bit looking at the old Winter. "She looks so different without pink hair" I smile and shake my head. She barely hung out with Lola and I when she was friends with those girls, she didnt even like when we went to the games she cheered at.


I sigh and take a drink from the bottle. I can feel the buzz. "Want one?" I offer him a smoke with a small smile. I grew up with these people, I love these people..."you know. If I didn't hang out with you guys as much when we were younger I probably would be an innocent little Della." I smirk.


Jay Sloane •

I stand and pull her up. "You're just a ball of energy. I tease and wrap my arm around her waist and pressing a kiss to her nose. She was upset not to long ago, so might as well not make the cat uncomfortable around my friends.


"Soooo the beach?" I lead her that way. I leave my shoes by the edge of the sand and lead her down the beach. I can see Lynx and that girl and narrow my eyes a bit, but I won't get mad. We go the other way.
