Aedan went silent at Conner's statement, he wasn't even going to try and argue, he knew how much he needed rest far more than Conner, and a rest in one of the luxury Avengers medical beds was almost too good to be true - it was just unfortunate he was a very long way from that luxury. Yet whilst he wasn't going to argue the blonde's sensible order, he was going to question his ideas of 'fun'. "Ah, and there's me thinking you were being all mature, but instead you - a heroic role model - and face of the Avengers, is causing havoc in public for a little bit of fun." Aedan chastised humorously, "...Tsk, tsk, tsk, Conner... What would Steve say?" The boy spoke with a dramatically overdone voice of shock, whilst simultaneously shaking his head.


His slight mockery ended as Conner swiveled to the left faster than Aedan was comfortable with, causing him to grimace as his abdomen stung in pain once more, although he made no comment on it. Luckily enough, they entered an open elevator, he almost suggested it was a trap, but Conner probably knew it was, and at the other side of that doe would lie an exceptionally large number of armed guards. Super-powered threats and all. In response to Conner's reasoning behind this course of action, Aedan simply scoffed. "Pfft, you were on-board the moment I fell through that door -- you said it yourself, the 'civil' way wasn't 'nearly as fun'. Keep in mind, if I don't go 'free' I go back in a hospital bed, you, however, get a cell." Aedan answered; potentially misunderstanding Conner's meaning, but his brain wasn't at full capacity, he was still light-headed, and somewhat disorientated.

Finn looked Joseph's way sadly at his new friend's sadness. "Oh. Uhh. Sorry Joseph." He rubbed the back of his neck uncomfortably. "Er. Yeah. Maul. We should." He gestured in the direction of Times Square. "I can give you a ride but can't garuntee comfort." He had put his faith in Augustus and he died. He put his faith in Maul and he had gone rogue. It was an off day. Finn changed to Smasher and waited to see if Joseph decided to come along or stay.

Look at the picture shown) maul growled as the beasts grew closer, memories of Hulk flashing in his head as he began to shake with fury. Jade stood back, not wanting to get hurt accidentally. "Terminate him." A scientist of the Enclave ordered as roared, charging one of the beasts and pinning him to a building. "Well then..... I think he is becoming more like cousin Bruce every minute.... Where the hell is Finn?" She asked herself as she got out her phone, only to see it has died. "Dammit!" She shouted as she saw maul with a now dead monster, electricity dancing from the frayed wires of the corpse where its head should be. "Impossible..! These creatures are supposed to be unstoppable!" The head researcher shouted as maul came closer, angry step by angry step. The beasts then charged him one by one, but were immediately incapacitated, unable to move their limbs. As soon as he got close enough, the symbiote alarm went off one of the scientists, and he changed to his original form. "It's the symbiote!" The researcher shouted as flame units surrounded him. "Give up! You are surrounded!" One of the heavies shouted as maul growled. "I gotta do something.... But what?" Jade said aloud, thinking. @CasualDragon


With Azazel, he hugged her tightly as he gets up, and goes through the portal his dad made. "Hey. Tell her dad where we are." He ordered as the eyedemon went into stark tower, following a scent similar to Cassie's. Fortune blinks a few times, her vision blurry and her mind not caught up yet with the rest of the world. She yawns and stretches her arms, vaguely realizing that Desimus was there. She licks her dry lips and rubs her eyes, "Hey...Good whatever time it is...Where am I?"

Jamie looked over at Jordan and smiled. She hadn't really liked him before, but he had rescued her and gave her a place to stay. She waved slightly and heard what he had said. She looked between him and Olivier confused. @LucianGrey7971

Mason sighed. "Greeeeeaaaat..." Mason hissed before he bolted off and with no one around, he jumped down the stairs and landed easily. When he sat by the elevator, he hummed contently.

Desimus yawns as he gets up.


"You're in hell, with your host Desimus. Kidding. You're in my hotel room that I put a key in your purse for. What did you think of the bed? Personally, I think it is too lonely. Want a drink? And by the way, I thought you said you never wanted to see me again."


He walks over to his fridge, pulling out a large pitcher of Spice Rum and filling up a large glass for himself.

Fortune gets up and walks around, attempting to unstiffen her legs.


"I'll take whatever drink you'd recommend. The bed feels like pure heaven and yeah, I never did want to see you again, but I REALLY wanted to see a fancy hotel up close, so I think the trade off was worth it..."

Desimus' hand wavers as he hears that she truly didn't want to see him again, spilling a bit of the drink on him. He pours another glass of spiced rum, and hands it over to her.


"I see. I guess they're worth it. I sleep outside though, these beds give me nightmares."


Desimus drinks his rum, the room being silent for a moment before Desimus breaks it.


"Fortune, do you really hate me? I want your honest truth. I can't fucking stand this anymore. Whatever you did to me, take it out. I can't stop thinking about you, and I don't know why. Did your spirit doodaa do this? Because I know you're just going to smash my heart, and...."


Desimus stops there, not sure what else to say, his judgment and everything clouded.

Pepper came up from Cassie's lab. "He didn't take anything from her lab, Tony. And both of you really need to organize them. They are a MESS."


"Science is almost never clean, Pep." Tony replied.

Fortune sipped the rum, it tasted like pure rubbing alcohol, she quickly decided that rum was a disgrace to the good name of liquor and poured into into a nearby sink. She listened to Desimus and sighed.


"Great, of fucking course this happens...Look here, my powers didn't do shit to you, you have what we call, a 'crush' and it's something you should drop immediately."

Tony, who was taking inventory of everything that Morgan had stolen from him (*cough cough pointed stare* @LokiofSP)), turned around and looked at the eye demon when it made its presence known. "What's up?" He said.
Pepper came up from Cassie's lab. "He didn't take anything from her lab, Tony. And both of you really need to organize them. They are a MESS."


"Science is almost never clean, Pep." Tony replied.

"I bring you a message. It is to inform you that your daughter is going to spend some time, resting in Mephisto's palace. Worry not, Lord Azazel will see to it that she comes back well and healthy. She is currently fainting from reasons unknown, but is speculated to be extreme fatigue and exhaustion. Would you like to visit them now?" The demon asked in a monotone voice. It looked at piper and tony, and awaited their answers.


Meanwhile, at the palace, Azazel laid Cassie down on a Royal bed that used to be his. It was soft, and felt like you could sink in it at any moment. He sat down by the bed, and gazed at her bloody suit.

Thomas awoke in a hospital bed. Taking a moment to reorient himself, he looked around. The unconscious bodies of an orderly and a nurse lay on the ground. When Thomas had entered the lobby some time ago, he realized that he, a stranger from the street would certainly not be allowed to see the avengers themselves, despite his claims and abilities. In a brash move, he had tackled the nearest employee, and forcibly applied the amulet around his neck. By the time, the guards arrived, Thomas had already "claimed" his new body, and hid the amulet from sight. He then followed the guards as they took his former unconscious body to an internal hospital of some sort, leaving a trail of more unconscious bodies until he was able to locate the hospital room where he was being held.
Back in the present, Thomas slid off the bed, and stripped down the body of the guard in front of him. Knowing that, unless he blended in, he would be shot on sight. Although Thomas could just inhabit the body of the next unsuspecting victim, he had grown fond of his current body, and did not want to lose it. Besides, he could afford to get shot anyway. After he had put on the clothes and gear of the guard, which were a bit big, he took the guard's baton, and after a bit of searching, the guard's stun gun. He then proceeded to step over the bodies and out into the hallway, which thankfully, was clear. With a deep breath, Thomas walked left, which was hopeful the direction to a directory of some sort.


Unfortunately, his luck didn't last long. Right after he had found the entrance to a staircase, and began climbing, a series of alarms started sounding. "Alright, stay cool", Thomas told himself, as he continued to climb, albeit a little faster.

Raikou had been in one of the monitor rooms waiting for Cassie, Connor, Dimitri, or Hulk Jr to arrive. He saw something peculiar that the lack of superpowered security became apparent once more. He saw a boy attacked someone then that someone follow the boy knocking out several others as he did so, as the guards apprehended the boy. But then that same boy walked out of one of the med bay rooms dressed in a guard uniform. But he waited to see what the boy was up to, but as the alarms went off that was no oonger possible.


Using electricity to enhance his body he super sped to right in front of the boy in less than 5 seconds. He already had his sword drawn and said "Ever here of cameras. Now don't try anything or you'll end up right back in that med bay room. I most likely wield the speed advantage over you, so if you think you can get something off before I cut you to bits. You are sorely mistaken."

Desimus' hand slips a bit, the glass in his hand almost crashing into the floor. He points at the frigde, signalling that there are different beverages to try.


"I should've known this would've happened. I don't know why god hates me so much. You despise me, and I like you. That is the worst combination for two people. Sorry I wasted your time. I officially dropped it."


However, a good look into his eyes could tell that he was lying horribly. Inside, he was crushed. But he expected for her to say no. Why does he feel like this? Is this his punishment? It felt worse than death, and Desimus has felt death. He looks up, breathing through his mouth, and out his nose.

Fortune shrugged, putting her glass in the sink and collecting her things. She checked the bed for any misplaced belongings and turned to Desimus.


"Thanks for letting me sleep on the bed, give it a try another time, it's comfy."


Then she was gone, leaving the boy behind...

Connor flicked Aedan on the back of the head, "Keep talking and I hand you back over to the hospital staff, be the good Samaritan that stopped the patient from escaping."


Maybe it was guilt that had him going through with this, or possibly that as much as Aedan wanted to be out of that bed, Connor wanted to see him out of it just as much because the fact that he'd put him in it lingered on. Connor couldn't say he was doing this for fun exactly though it was a nice change to the air from the last few weeks. The elevator doors closed, and once they'd gone down a few floors opened up once again. Exiting as if nothing was wrong Connor leaned over the wheelchair so he could look up and down the hallway, spotting Mason waiting for them. "I take it your coming with us then?" Connor asked, pushing the wheelchair out and towards the exit at a normal pace.

Desimus watches as she leaves, and he feels the pain in his chest worsening. A crush, huh? He fucking hated it, and he wished he could just rip it out, rip out his beating heart, to get rid of the pain. However, he knows that wouldn't be the smart choice. Desimus quickly opens the front door, looking down the hall, but not seeing her. He quickly runs down the hall, nimbly leaping and climbing down the stairs. He opens the hotels main lobby door, the hotel front desk looking at him quizically. It was dark, but his panther vision allowed him to easily see through the dark. He sees Fortune, and he yells at her.


"Fortune! Why, why are you doing this to me?"

Thomas was happy. Even though he was suddenly confronted by an angry electric-wielding swordsman who had threatened him decapacitation, Thomas wasn't even all that angry. For the first time, he was face-to-face with an avenger, which brought him one step closer to helping him solve his problem. Unfortunately, he hadn't planned on what exactly he would do if he actually was able to talk to an avenger, especially not one so ready to kill him. So, Thomas just smiled as he placed his hands over his head, before actually saying "Hi! Nice to meet you too! I know that I've intruded on your HQ and all, but is there any way you guys can help me? Like do you know anyone who has any experience with magical immortality stones and other stuff like that?".

"Right...you can join the Avengers, besides...you seem to have found someone worthy of your attention~" Jordan received a warning glare from Olivier

Jamie stood awkwardly as the exchange happened. After what was said, she walked over to Jordan and gave him a small hug. She released and signed, 'I hope you won't feel to bad over it. I am sure you did what you had to.' She tried to give a reassuring smile, but then she realized Augustus was the only person she knew who could help her with her condition. Jamie's smile faltered for a second, but she managed to regain composure. @LucianGrey7971

Jordan hesitated before accepting Jamie's hug, he saw the look on her face and smiled "Don't worry, your condition isn't that bad, we do have the greatest hacker in the galaxy...fourth in the universe..." Tech hugged Jamie from behind again and looked at Jordan.

Fortune stopped, her helmet was an inch from coming down on her head. She tucked it under her arm and raised a brow.

Desimus falls back, his knees almost buckling. That was the ending hit right there. She just simply doesn't like him. He can't change that, there was no amount of money or anything he could do to changed her mind. Besides, money couldn't buy love. It would be fake, not real. He lost this time, a battle he was destined to lose. Without saying another word, he disappears into the shadows, leaving Fortune to be.

Fortune watches Desimus leave and sighs, putting on her helmet and revving her engine.


"He'll thank me one day...He'll be glad he got shut down... I just hope I won't regret this later...'


She then drove off into the night...

Morgan sighed. Typical, he'd rather leave something potentially dangerous be than come investigate. He was forced to go on the offensive. Although something he'd rather have avoided due to the fact that it would be giving Jordan the homefeild advantage. He breifly went over everybody he knew of in the house, Tech would be first to go, or else any plans to drop in his suits would backfire, then he could quickly take out Jordan, and, if he was quick enough, move him before that damn butler intercepted him.


Morgan went over his plan once more in his head, he checked his supplies and hugged the disk close. It all came down to this, tiny piece of machinery, if this fucked up, if Tony's calculations were wrong, he was screwed. Morgan noded and took a step back, before taking a running start and crashing through the window...
