After fully reading her Cs and the part about nicknames instead of her full name. LyannaM i thought about having Yuu comment on her name being a tad long in comparison to others, thus giving her a nickname but he might take a bit haha. Cause I'm still thinking it over and may or may not have a Yuu fitting nickname for Yangchen by that time. Yang is the obvious choice but doesnt quite seem like a Yuu option for a nickname.

(: He will give her one. I'll probably make it a thing, him trying to come up with a good one so he rambles a bit aloud saying different ideas for nickname til he stumbles upon one. That's seeming like a funny idea to use with Yuu as he interacts/meets/etc Yangchen.

You are welcome! As for character wise and fitting them in and etc, I don't know yet. It depends on what the main Gm thinks, I believe she wanted to limit benders to the avatar and teachers but might be wrong. Memory is poor lately with work stuff and stress.

Ok.

Looking them over Eliruz character could be worked in upon reading her back story rather easily enough. Yuu could see wanting her around if atleast to see another Water bender amongst the living. If her real father was a northerner then Yuu and Ulva would be the closest and perhaps best options to help her find her real father. Plot wise adds some extra weight as that means two female water benders and that tends to play against the northern tribes traditions and views by the majority, no? Or do I recall wrong? Nice drama bonus there if so and Yuu I could see being that rebel with an open mind willing to help lead the way in changing that by openly teaching them. Just as a side thought.

Teh Frixz Is a bit trickier for me, I don't recall much on lightning bending, in fact I forgot there was lightning bending til I recalled Azula and since checking the wikia, Iroh. But then again they could be a future teacher to Ulva for lightning bending. So easier if we go down that path also could add extra weight to the plot since she's from/has ties to the fire nation. Perhaps she would have known of or known Yazua and visa versa? Makes the connection all the more possible and easier to slide in if so. As a thought.

Those are my two cents (: it comes down to extra benders or no on that front.

I actually included in Yazua´s abilities that she is learning lightning bending. Its a strong, but not uncommon part of fire bending, even if few are able to do it. Yazua struggles with it a lot, but i intend on having her later be quite skilled at it.
Yazua will however only be able to create and use them, not deflect/defend agianst them. There is canonically only one bender that was able to create lightning and deflect it both, which was Zuko, but only because Iroh, the inventor of the deflection taught him. In this world, neither exist.Maybe Teh Frixz family invented the defense against it aas they were all lightning benders? Being specialized on such a subbranch can open many possibilities other benders would not have (Like the blood benders from legend of Korra) so i can see her have a bender spot we dont ahve in its kind. Though just like Yazua, she would have to find herself before she would be anywhere close to a useful teacher.

For knowing each other, that could be possible, though it would be more of a "saw that person before" than a real relationship i think.

Certainly the two girls will get along on their similarities, not to mention remains up and turning on Yuu teasing him about being part of the patriarchy.
