I think we could wait until we've decided on a clear starting point and then make the IC thread, at least until the GM gets back online so we can hash everything out.

Just an idea to start the brainstorm: Why not start off in a harbor village the north of the Earth Kingdom. Yuu and Ulva are in a tea house or something like that planning their next move. Anyone can join them then, there can be a fire nation or pirate raid.

generally i like the idea, but we decided that the fire nation and earth kingdom have a truce, so an attack would be weird. Maybe they hear word of an attack towards one of the few surviving water tribes and thats what starts it off?

The Earth Kingdom and the Fire Nation have a "soft" truce from what I've gathered, where the Fire Nation is keeping the peace as long as they can to buy time before taking them out. But you do have a point, maybe it could be a raid on the town, but instead of an attack it's just Fire Nation officers coming into the town and sweeping through to collect tribute or something like that.

Also, if you want, we could make a doc and write the intro post as a pair/group (depending on who wants to help), and on the first IC post you can just divide it in two and add Yazua's post afterward.

The starting post can be Fire Nation going through the an Earth village, while the avatar and Yuu are like practicing in some place. That could also be how the group first meets? When they stand up to some soldiers that get to aggressive?
