Give me a few minutes and I should have chapter two ready. The many characters in my head are alive and talking (as usual...). =)
 
On the upside, I have magics too. And those retractable claws come in handy too.

We also can't forget Sparkle. She was in camo mode, and I don't know if she would become visible if she was knocked out. I tell you what, even a little pseudo dragon can do a lot when they put their mind to it!
 
Even though I couldn't save the party from being captured, I'm still enjoying myself. Party on, Dann!
 
And I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for those darn dice and their stupid rolls....

Hey Cap, at least I was able to make some of my saving throws, unlike our rouge and the rough and tough fighter!
 
Now I has a bigger sad. Also Fort Saves are not my forte (geddit?), I'm the Ref save guy. If some hadda thrown the poison at me, I would have been, like, zoom-zoom-zoom-stabby times!

Did I say "a few minutes" in my last post here? Whoops. I started writing and well... this is the result:


Chapter One: The Road of Kings is concluded. We now begin Chapter Two, entitled "Bilal's Menagerie".

Off the top of my head, I couldn't remember it exactly, but I got close.

Oh my word, Kaerri! Not another one! Ha ha! I've had bad dice days on Cody like that. Also, at this moment, Kitrin and her company are bound in such a way that not only is standing out of the question, but so is sitting upright.


Sherwood. Like Cap, I love the Dune reference, but even more so, I love how that approach is being used here. I mean, look at the situation the Grey Wardens are in; who wouldn't be scared? Here comes death! When is it more important to remind oneself that fear is shadow, not substance?


All. Re: Otiorin's Bloodline Power. Otiorin's claws are something he can form and unsheathe at a time like this, and (thankfully) no dice roll is required to do it. I am going to roll randomly to see whom he interacts with first. *rolls* It's Kitrin.


Re: Wolf Rawrrr. I realized recently - can you guys' imagine what ol' Wolfie is going to think when he reads all this? "I leave you for just a few days and look how you wind up! Wolf and Pecker to the rescue!" Except that under the way I use T.S., they would wind up in your position (as it isn't quite fair to say, "Poof! The party's suddenly joined by a fully-armed and armored teammate! You're virtually free already!").
 
@Captain Hesperus I take it the whole team knows about Otiorin's Bloodline Powers? I mean, there is no keeping secret that he has such blood with Sparkle in the party (true dragons tend to recognize each other pretty quickly, and I imagine the old girl got quite a shock when she first studied Otiorin). I ask this because if Kitrin doesn't know, and she feels these claws on her body, she is likely to come to some other conclusion.


EDIT: Sorry if we've covered this earlier and I have forgotten.
 
Yeah, I'm sure after a (mis)adventure or two, the whole dragon heritage thing would have cropped up.

O.K. and thanks. =) I didn't want to take your feelings on the matter for granted. Because maybe you wanted your fellows know you have a dragon bloodline, but this is their first experience with your claws? I'm glad it's not. It's a hard-enough day for the party as it is. Just ask Sparkle when she wakes up... Hee hee. =)

Be glad that Luna was KO'd too, or you would never hear the end of the rash of stuff I'd give you!
