Yeah, sorry... I'm unwell. It's hard to focus.

If I don't post within the next 14 hours (from now), green light on alpha. Move up without me. Just take my OOC intention for Wolf as the desired course of action.

Eh... Uh. wof

edit: done. sorry it's so short (

Mine wasn't much longer. If the characters don't have a lot to say, they don't have a lot to say. And the player being sick doesn't help. :( Hope you feel better soon, Wolf!

Thanks, but I'm not sick. I'm just not well (don't want you to worry in vain). And the character would probably say more if he wasn't constantly hindered by his own player. Sadly.

*tries to wof and fails*

On a completely unrelated note, there is another Pathfinder game that is currently recruiting players that I am looking to join in. If anyone is interested in it, here is the link:

Fantasy - Pathfinder Hardcore Dungeon Crawl

Its being set up by TenPercentMilk. Not someone that I have any personal info on, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

No thanks; my limit was 3 games and I remain at 4. Have fun, Sherwood! =)

No problem. Just wanted to share. Anyone else? The ST wants at least three players, and has only two so far.

Though I can potentially handle a handful of RPs, my limit for tabletop games is 1 :P

Lucky I'm still here at all. Almost gave up a few times. It's not an off day; more like an off lifetime.

wof

Hope your lifetime improves, Wolf. Really I do. =)

Folks? For this little side trip, you have 3 NPCs and 2 should come along, 1 of whom is Sabrefang. Whom do you want to travel with you and who should stay at the wagon with Glider, Stewart, and the Meadowsweets? Bria or Powerpaw?

Bria has had a whole lot of bad stuff land in her lap in the last thread. She might enjoy a few hours of down time relaxing by the pool.

Good thought. And she did ask for some. Powerpaw really wants to come with his mom, too.

Perhaps it was, good Wolf, but it is the rude and short-minded Dungeon Master who does not consider the feelings and opinions of his players - between Powerpaw and Bria, perhaps all of you have a preference - it is only right that I ask and find out lest I take anything for granted. That's just the way I've operated since... heck, since I started. =)

And on that note, @Captain Hesperus what's your opinion, Cap'n?

Of course. What I meant was: Powerpaw and Bria are NPCs so we as players could hardly just have them do something. Especially with Powerpaw understandably really wanting to accompany his mother. And Bria needing a rest. So in this case it was pretty safe to assume the decision *woof*

I appreciate everyone here treating them like characters. Not everyone I've gamed with has seen my NPCs in that light; a few have only seen them as more than a role and a pile of numbers. Thankfully, I don't RP with those particular folks anymore. I just wish them well. =)

Because it's been entirely too long since I've put a Rush song in here! =)

And this one has some seriously good wisdom in it. =)

I didn't mean to belittle them, I meant that our characters don't have the power to override their wills. If Powerpaw already said he's coming, why did you ask us to confirm his move order as if this was a strategy game?

edit: actually never mind, this is probably one of those things where I'm the only one seeing something that's actually not there

Oh, Wolf, I never thought for a moment you were trying to belittle anyone, real or imaginary! =)

As for Powerpaw, he is just making a request. You may remember some time ago I mentioned that in certain times, I would like a maximum of two NPCs along. Since the Wanderers decided to make Sabrefang a Wanderer (to which she says, "Oh, that was so nice of you!"), you now have three NPCs to select from instead of two. All I was asking was, as players, which two did you want along? Personally, I felt only Sabrefang was the clear option (given that this whole moment comes from her request). Call it an old tabletop habit of mine if you like, but I like to leave such options available for the players for reasons aforementioned. We are all here to have fun after all. =)

It's a longtime thing of Dann's; players can talk amongst themselves OOC, but NPCs have only Dann to speak for them, so he has them do their thing IC and then the players decide OOC what to do IC (even if it's just looks around the table, which is sort of what we're doing here). Basically, which NPCs we bring along are almost always up to us (like a Bioware game, some quests have particular NPCs required), even if they state how much they really, really want to come along on something.

Oh, and you didn't belittle them. I've seen belittling. In an earlier Sharseya game, an NPC that was particularly beloved by some of the players, and a dear friend of a couple of the PCs, fell into a dimensional rift into Hell (or possibly Hades, I can't remember). There was kind of a debate about whether to follow and try to help. Some of the other players were all, "Why are we chasing him? It's just an NPC." That is belittling. There's none of that to be seen in this group!

I should be able to post something later today. =)

I really wanted to post tonight, but I haz headache. I know that headache + staring into computer screens = STOOPID.

So... I will try again tomorrow. Have a good night! =)
