Okies, not happening tonight. Too much Real Life. I'll try again tomorrow.
 
After catching up in-game, please read this? =)

Given the delays brought upon me by Real Life, I decided to join Stewart and the Meadowsweet's statements together, if only to save a little time and get Psychie in our game a little sooner. =)
 
Nice post, Dann. I definitely know what it's like to eat cookies meant for someone else... *whine*

Now, I for one (and I might be speaking for others, too) am unsure about what my next post is supposed to look like. A recap of the training? Summary of my intentions for how to spend the day? Are we even still roleplaying or just discussing OOC in IC how the day went? Where are we time-wise? Is time even relevant?

Time is always relevant and you guys are at the Location, Time, and Weather provided at the top of that big post.

Well, I put this post together because I wanted to show your team training together. I've found some PCs like the chance to talk about how their character trains in preparation for combat and some just don't think about it - I figured this was a good opportunity to give anyone who wanted to describe how their character approached such things. If enough PCs wrote such posts, maybe we could get into a little RPing between the characters (I found myself asking questions like, "O.K., Nivirea is paired up against Powerpaw. How does it go?" Then next, "They switch and now it's Nivirea versus Mamapaw except she seems to be lacking the motivation to pound on Nivirea. How does Nivirea handle that?" And so on.

It's just another window of RP to either play with or pass up. Nothing wrong with either direction, but neither occurs if I don't post in that direction.

And if the Wayward Wanderers all turn out to be the kinds of PCs who just don't think about this stuff, then we continue on with the other things I described and get along with their day.

EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot - thanks for having interest enough to ask! =)

When I saw that, I couldn't keep reading. My brain stopped. Probably like Nivirea's.

She'd set his tail on fire if there was but the slightest chance of passing it off as an accident.
 
For those wanting to know the mechanics behind Casting Defensively, it's a Concentration check Difficulty Class (or, the roll to meet or beat) = 15 + twice the level of the spell. =)

Telling a roughly 400 pound, 9 foot tall cat with a greatclub to hit you hard or you might suffer in the long run in real combat? Bren is a brave, brave man.

And I'm glad he's wearing good armor with a shield... =)

Meh. If you really want to know, I hated it.

There was a two paragraph rant here about how much and why exactly I hated it, but I decided to delete it. Just take my word for it that Milano at the very least sucks and is a long shot from what you'd expect Italy's renowned center of fashion and design to look like. Clearly that "center" does not extend beyond the doors of Zara, Prada, Versace and such.

The only highlight was that I was travelling with my brother, but it was still business and we spent most of our waking hours behind the wheel, so... I'm never going back there unless the sky falls down or something. Place was a logistical nightmare from my perspective and I felt uncomfortable throughout. Didn't help that no one except hotel staff spoke English.

I just wanna forget this trip ever happened.

At least you are back with us, where you can enjoy the hijinks of RpN.
 
I'm probably going to be a bit busy as things get closer to Christmas (just like most everyone else). I'm going to be on as much as time permits as a way to relax from the crazy of the holiday.

Heya folks! Sorry for my delay in posting. Yesterday, I had to sleep for 12 hours (I'm not kidding) and today I've kind of got this migraine that's not going away. I know what I want to post in-character, but I'm not going to be able to write effectively in this state. I'll post as soon as I'm able! *hugs to all* Love you guys and gals! =)
