Sadly, I am not having a good day. We just had to put down our thirteen year old boxer puppy. She had a rapid decline over the past few weeks, and last night it was pretty bad; she was barely able to walk. Lots of tears in the house.
 
I'm so sorry to hear that. It's hard losing pets; they're family too.
 
Mrph... Sorry to hear that, Sherwood. Sounds like you had some good years together. Is it time to hit the shelter for another fuzzbucket? =)

We'll rescue another dog soon enough, just not yet. It wouldn't feel quite right to bring home another pup this close to the day we said goodbye to our little brown snort.

I have to say Dann, it may just be an unusual sum of several factors, but your last post was perfectly "timed".

The Teleri soundtrack finished playing just as I finished reading that part of the post, making way for the Mountain King's theme, which reached its climax just as I got to the part where Powerpaw shouts "HAAALP" and falls over - and promptly ended within seconds of me finishing the post!

I guess I got the best out of that experience, lol *rawrrr*
 
That is fantastic, Wolf! I didn't plan any of that; those are just the pieces that I felt fit best. That is so cool that it worked out that way when you read it. =)

I love roleplaying! It makes me so happy! =)
 
Yeah, it's near impossible to plan like that. I used to try to take into account average reading speed and try to fit my descriptions to coincide with parts of a soundtrack meant to be playing in the background, but it doesn't always work. But it feels more special when it does, tho.

We prooobably shouldn't actually attack, I'd hate to have to send Bren on an Atonement quest so soon after he's become a Paladin!

Seriously, though, how's about we surround, distract, and get them off first? We're not giant furry cats, but in our own ways we're all interesting people to talk to.

Just please remember what Bren said about casting arcane magics (i.e., don't), I don't want to have to bail anyone out of jail. ^;3^

There's arcane, and then there's divine. Arcane is what powers sorcerers, wizards, bards, and the like. Divine comes from, well, divine entities, and thus it's what's used by clerics and druids (and rangers and paladins, when they can cast).

I'm also hoping someone besides Luna will take action, because when I post next, it's only those folks who have acted in-character who will be, well, acting. Sure, Oreleth has spoken, but besides that, she has not taken action. So if she or anyone else wants to, tonight is a good time.

Besides, the last time I posted was 5 days ago and I feel I owe you guys and gals another one by now.

For now, though - it's past my bedtime. Sleep well and dream "weller" when it's your turn, gang! =)
