At the Adventurers' Table: Chapter Eleven

In all my years here, I have never relied on the alert system. When it worked, I found it helpful. When it didn't, I laughed at the fools whose lives were suddenly in disarray. I always checked all of my games manually.

That's why when I don't post, you can be about 75% sure it's sheer laziness *woof*

Heya friends! Important heads-up here.

Cap'n has Real Life going on. Do not worry about him; he is fine, but unable to game for a while.

Otiorin and Hercules are, effective immediately, in Temporal Stasis until further notice.

In-game, they simply disappear, peacefully and quietly. Just like Killfire's character Bronze, Cap'n's characters' XP are not penalized and they can come to no harm.

Please roleplay your characters as if Captain's characters have simply gone on a trip with full intentions to return to your party (just the same way you might talk about Leonard Wolf the Ranger or Kitrin the Hobbit). Game on!

Honor and fun,
Dann =)

He is a character in Robotech: Broadsword being run by Cap.

Sorry, Wolf! I am immersed in Real Life myself and I posted the same message in both of my games as soon as I was able.

That did not give me much room for precision. =)

Heya friends!

I will try to post sometime tomorrow depending on how Real Life goes.

Heya folks! I will attempt to post either today or tomorrow as Real Life allows. Stay healthy and safe out there. =)

Thank you for your patience, friends. My ADHD hit me like a giant's club about four days and it finally lightened up sometime last night, I think. =)

The brown-furred Felane peered down at Oreleth with the raised tail and flickering whiskers of a cat filled with curiosity. She sniffed. "Just what is it you do exactly, warrior? And what has the Goddess of Ice wrought upon you or yours to illicit your resolved response?"

Psychie Psychie Did you want Oreleth to respond to this or no? Up to you. =)

Psychie Psychie Re: my last post (Chapter 11, post #127).

I forgot to add Mamapaw's response to Oreleth's. I have since edited my last post to reflect this addition. =)

Heya friends! Totally off-topic here. I just have to share this with you! I have ADHD (well, technically, I have hyperkinetic disorder which is kind of like super-ADHD but hardly anyone I know knows what hyperkinetic disorder is so I just call it ADHD because it's close enough).

So I found this video and... this is it! This is really the reality! It's a cute video too. I agree with it, so if you're bored and have about 5 minutes, this is worth the time. Plus the music is nice. And so is the art. =)

And this video is it too! Same people. =)

And one more! Last one. I hope! These are great!

Just curious, with my Knowledge: Arcana skill, would I have heard anything about this bow that Oreleth is talking about?

No. Good thinking, though. Perhaps if Luna were a bowyer or fletcher. =)

Heya friends!

To keep the story going, I am going to post either later today or tomorrow depending on how life goes. Stay well! =)

"Child of Corellon, think no ill of Nivirea. For all beings in a fellowship come with their own lit candles and corners of shadow, to show and share or keep secret as they will. Nivirea's shadows are hers to keep."
The deep and polite way of saying: "She's a spoiled brat and can't help herself. Give her a break."

*woof*

No, not at all, Wolf. You are still new to Oscar, and because of that, I think you are missing his true meaning.

Does anyone else want to give it a try? =)

Oh, heck with it. =) For anyone interested in Oscar of Highwind, my ADHD went off on this subject today so... for the sake of everyone's entertainment, I share this concerning Oscar. Hope you like it. =)

In the game, Oscar''s message to Oreleth is basically, "Do not think badly of Nivirea if she is acting in a way that you are not accustomed to.

"Everyone brings their own blessings and baggage when they join a group. Nivirea may seem to be troubled about hers, but her secrets are hers alone."

* * *

On a related note, I "asked" Oscar (as I do when I like to "hear" my characters opinions and perspectives), just how would he have told Oreleth if he had said, "She's a spoiled brat and can't help herself. Give her a break." I mean, that made me wonder! How would he have replied if he had hard evidence that Nivirea was just a spoiled brat?

Oscar, who, if he can avoid it, spends zero time with the spoiled and self-entitled, replied with this:

"Take no offense, Child of Corellon, for your presence has been like a giant taking notice of a flea. Sorceress Nivirea is not as the other men and women among the good-hearted Wayward Wanderers, but instead simply a richly-born child with many years experience. Having long bathed deeply in the waters of hubris, lack-of-want, and disdain for those she thinks beneath her, Nivirea seems to know no other road save the one that leads to self-pleasure.

"I would make myself scarce upon the hour those waters dry up, for the child will then find herself face to face with the woman she could have become.

"Until that hour, try to forgive her."

=)

Psychie Psychie Read the latest in-game post then read this?

Sorry if Bria is leaving Oreleth outside of her conversation with Luna and Brendoran. =) Even Ko monks need time to trust friends of friends with delicate matters. =)

No worries there, good sir. Oreleth is, after all, new to the group and as such does not share the same level of confidences as the rest of the party.

Not yet, at least. Thanks for understanding. =)

lol I guess so. I had missed that completely. Sorry Mamapaw!
