purgatory is weird but since he was brought to this universe with the elevator he's "alive" but he's still stuck between. I think he can't return to his universe or else he will be, dead, and go to heaven or hell (he's going to hell bro lfmaso) but if he escapes to another universe he can live but he's still almost stuck in purgatory, can talk to people and ghosts, not like see through or anything, but he doesn't age he's still timeless I think until he "moves on"
