Owl frowns. She turns away and dials Dionysus. "Gods and demons are pretty closely related right? Maybe our client can give us some advice? I have him on speed dial. Although I suppose I could just pray."

Did Dionysus answer prayers? She would have to try some time.

Kotsu walked over to Owl, "Hey there, beautiful. Come here often?" Kotsu asked her, with his arms over the back of his head and smiling. "How are your wounds? And how are you?"

Exzalia Exzalia

The twins had arrived just before the explanation began. The two looked at Denton and then each other, a little worried. "So um... good memories, then...?" They asked in unison, or at least, memories of creation. They could always just think about all the times they'd done synthesis, that was creation... even though a lot of their items were created to destroy.

"All better actually thanks for ask- hey I thought I told you to stop with the flirting?" puts her free hand on her hip waiting for her god to answer.

Kotsu smiled widely, seeing her take a stance that was as sassy as herself. "Well, I can't help it if I've got my freedom of speech at least. And if I'm telling a fact, then I'm not sure how I could be at fault." Kotsu said with a softer grin. "Maybe you shouldn't be so attractive and I'd stop flirting with you. Plus, I'll probably be destroyed by some demon today, so I figured now's a good time to tell you that I like you before I kinda get Hakai'd by a weird human owl Beerus creature." Kotsu said, cocking his head to the side. "If it gets rid of my curse, maybe then you'd give me a chance though." Kotsu's eyes gleamed as his smile widened. "Kidding. Maybe. Kinda."

"Kotsu it's not about you being a vampire it's, it's, it's..."she looks about suddenly realizing everyone could hear them.

"It's something I'd rather not talk about in public. Now focus we have a mission to complete."

"Well, I just wanted you to know I like you. And, if anything happens to me this mission, since I may not come back, I just wanted to let you know that. And that's something I'll be holding onto to make me happy and kick demon ass with." Kotsu said blushing and smiling before hugging her quickly and releasing. "So it'll be like you're with me the whole time." Kotsu said laughing heartily before walking away from her and over to the twins. "Hey, guys. That's Owl over there. She can help you when you can't figure out the right words to say." Kotsu said to them, in regards to their inability to communicate with him. "And hopefully after this, we can all go out on a ride together. I'll be holding onto that too. Since you guys are my friends." Kotsu said, locking them both into a hug. He then went to stretching and cracking his neck. He looked over at Denton and smiled softly. "Well! Today's a good day as any to die!"

The twins blinked as they were suddenly scooped up into a tight hug. They slowly returned it, smiling. "Yeah, definitely. We're all going to go on that ride together. Promise." 01 said. The two looked over at Owl, they recognized her as the lady that had collapsed when they were at city hall with Dionysius. They both waved, little nervous smile on their lips. How would she be able to help them 'figure out the right words to say'...? They weren't allowed to say any words.

Though, they ignored that thought and looked back at Kotsu. Yeah... they had a good memory to cling onto when dealing with the demon. "Heeeey! No dying, we're going to the amusement park after all of this!" 02 said, admonishing the vampire.

Kotsu laughed rubbing his head. "Hey, nothing wrong with bein' prepared. If I coulda told my siblings I loved them before they were killed, I woulda too!" Kotsu said chuckling until he realized how awkward that might be for other people. He's had 50 years to make peace with that, so it didn't bother him anymore. "Uh, sorry. That mighta been awkward. But man, I miss those little shits too." Kotsu said crossing his arms, looking lost in thought. "Even if I did die, it wouldn't be the worst thing, ya know? I got a lot of people I gotta talk to."

"How fast is he?"

"Unknown at this time," Denton said. "We don't have much information there. Andras doesn't tend to leave a lot of survivors. If he's anything like the last demon we dealt with then we are expecting possibly sonic to subsonic speeds. Possibly. I've been told certain ones, especially ones like Andras that stick to the ground tend to be a lot slower," Denton replied.

"Pause hold on, you said destroy the vampiric curse?"

"Yes. Andras could technically cure you." Denton shook his head. "I wouldn't expect it, though. Remember. This thing is a force of destruction. Also, Kotsu...please do as Owl says and stay focused on the job. We're not prepared yet. Your ill fated attempts at flirting might bring Andras on our heads before we are ready."

"So um... good memories, then...?"

"The best you can conjure. Preferably those that are two with creation or creative pursuits."

Kotsu sighed when he heard this, and started thinking about better days with playing with his siblings and taking them out to dinner and to the movies. He found his thoughts thinking back to that of Owl though and of what she said the other day about children.

Dude, you're weird. I don't get you And I am you.

"Say what?" Kotsu said, outloud so it sounded like it was asked toward Denton but he blushed and chuckled. "Sorry, forget that! Gotcha loud and clear." Kotsu found himself thinking about if he wasn't turned, living a normal life as a doctor, him and Owl with kids. The idea made him happy and blush. He thought about the twins coming around to see the little ones. They would play with the children and show them how to make alchemical formulas. Sam would come over and teach them how to work on machines. And even Denton and Morgan would teach them how to fire firearms to protect themselves.

Kotsu came to a sudden realization. "Wow. I think... I think you guys are my family now." Kotsu said, holding his head.

Vivian listened to the debrief as much as she could with the current issue she was having, rubbing her eyes a little she played it off as she just wasn't quite awake yet. With what she could understand from the debrief this demon was very dangerous if they got up close and personal, grabbing her gun and looking to see how much ammo she had she sighed a little in disappointment. She much preferred being up close and personal with her opponents rather that sitting in the background and shooting but unfortunately she had no choice in the matter. She placed her gun back in it's holster and looked back up around the group specifically Kotsu and Owl who were hugging before moving onto the twins, she quickly looked away not wanting to appear rude by accidentally watching a private conversation in front of her.

"Hello Owl," Dionysus answered.

"Hello errr boss? Sorry to bug you I know your busy but I kind of need your councel. First things first...can I pray to you or do I have to call? Would be useful if I didn't have to use my minutes, you have an alter somewhere or something?"

"Prayer works. The thought of me brings me instantly into your being. In a form anyway. I knew you would call before you did. You are an extension of my will."

"Cool second question, if I hypthetically got pregnant would my baby suffer alcohol poisoning from my err...new habit? Or would you're god blessing prevent that. And would I? totally hypothetically speaking need to offer him up to you?"

"No. The child would be fine. As for the offering...are you offering it to me? If there is a hypothetical child?"

"No, no,no I'm asking if I have to do that, like the child can live it's own life ya? doesn't have to worry about you, doing anything to it."

"Oh I guess....it'd be dreadfully boring, though. If you wish to consider giving up your first born I offer a much better deal many of my peers."

"NO! no please leave any hypothetical children alone okay? Okay now the main reason I'm calling is we're about to fight the demon of destruction, but as usualy Denton is woefully under prepared. You're a God I'm sure you have a lot of experience with demons. Whats their weakness? Does my magic hurt them? Can they even be hurt by conventional means? And how do we resist a being that can just destroy anything at will?"

"Ah, you mean Andras. I hired Maniacles and by extension to deal with that. He didn't explain what Andras can do?"

"OH he did certianly but you must know we mortals don't usually deal with...demons. I thought before we engage the enemy in brutal combat you might have some lasting tips for us? specifically me?"

"Andras is a creature of destruction in a similar manner to how I am a creature of creation. In a sense anyway. We're both just sentient ideas for the most part. The only you as mortals will stand a chance is by throwing your will against his. Use your skills of creation to match his destruction."

"Okay you see that makes zero sense....like what we can beat him if we make a paper collage in front of him? What if I do origami? does that, hurt him?"

Owl taps her chin. "...hey...isn't the ultimate act of creation fucking?"

"It makes all sense. You need to open your eyes. Yes, any form of creation can keep Andras at bay, make him hesitate as long as you have the will and passion to match the overbearing emptiness within the beast," Dionysus said.

"Huh...okay. well thanks boss I'll talk with you later. "

She hangs up the phone. "Denton! We need to hold off on this and by a shit ton of art supplies. Samantha why don't you try inventing something right in his face? The God says we literally need to create stuff around this dude to win."

Aria

She choose umbrella as her weapon because she wanted something that can protect her from direct sunlight, but this works too. Aria watched as the rain bounced off from the canopy of her umbrella and fell onto the ground, creating a small splashing sound. Alone, they did nothing, but together they made one harmonious music of nature. According to one of the internet article that she read, it was one of the most calming sound in the world!

"Denton! We need to hold off on this and by a shit ton of art supplies. Samantha why don't you try inventing something right in his face? The God says we literally need to create stuff around this dude to win." Owl said after hanging up her phone.

"Art? I can make sculpture." Aria chimed in. "But is it enough?" Aria was thinking about the plants. The satyrs here tried to grow them but the demon was able to destroy them. She was wondering if there's a certain quality that can boost their creation power.

"Samantha why don't you try inventing something right in his face?"

"That's not how it works, out here I can only MacGyver and hope it works," Sam thought that much was obvious. How much had Owl drank?

The two looked at Owl as she made her announcement. The two looked at one another. "...If... we had a cauldron... maybe we could do a quick synthesis recipe. That would be creating something." 01 said uncertainly. But... where the heck would they find a big ol' cauldron like the one that they had back at the facility? The ingredients would be pretty simple, just a few plants and water should do the trick. They could create some supplements... and then paper if they had enough excess ingredients.

Kotsu looked at the twins. "Actually, gimme a sec. I'm pretty fast on my feet. I'll go grab one." Kotsu ran off toward the city, grabbed a giant cauldron from a Halloween store.
"Hmm..." Kotsu said to himself shaking it to feel if it were sturdy. "Huh, that actually has some pretty nice heft to it." Kotsu brought it over to the register and paid the clerk. "Oh, here, something for your troubles." Kotsu dropped him a $20 tip and ran out the door. Kotsu came back with the cauldron in about 10 minutes. "Oh man, that was rough." Kotsu said, breaking a sweat while placing the cauldron next to the twins. Kotsu pulled out one of his blood packs that he had on his belt, and started sucking it down. The feel of the blood after starving himself for so long, was absolutely wonderful. "Oh that's some good stuff." He looked at Aria, "You want one, Aria?" Kotsu asked, tossing her one.

The twins blinked as Kotsu ran off. "Oh uh... thanks...?" They said in unison, surprised that he had ran off to actually grab a cauldron, but they didn't know how likely it was that he was going to find something like that. The twins shrugged and then turned and walked over to the nearest field and began collecting any flowers or plants that they could find. They'd just need to get some water for the synthesis.

When he returned, the twins had gathered a decent amount of flowers and assorted plants from the area. They looked at Kotsu and the cauldron. They experimentally knocked on it, and when it sounded as though it were indeed made of metal, they smiled at Kotsu. "This'll be perfect, thanks! We didn't think that something like this would be around, alchemy is... kind of old... including some of the things necessary to actually carry it out." 01 said, rubbing the back of his head.

02 nodded. "Now, we just need water, and we'll be set to make paper and supplements, it's a pretty short recipe to make, so we should be able to make it mid-battle, so long as Andras doesn't target us specifically. Hopefully it'll keep him at bay. Thankfully supplements are super easy to make, it's one of the first things that an alchemist typically learns to make. You can literally just add in any old ingredient that you want to the cauldron and it'll make some. Then using the supplements we create, along with some water and plants, we can make zettel. It's basically paper, just a bit more durable than regular paper, you can even get it a bit wet and it'll be fine." He explained.

Owl turns to Samantha hands on her hips.

"Didn't you create a plasma gun out of old car parts and duck tape? What do you mean it doesn't work like that? You just did it. Look you just need some motivation, ahem...If you don't invent something creative we're all gonna die! Now work you're magic, take apart those drones and make something with them. Thats goes for the rest of you. LETS GET CREATIVE!"

Aria

Aria caught the blood pack that Kotsu tossed. She looked at the label, "thank you, I guess Scarlet can eat tonight." She put the blood pack inside her waist bag.

"but Kotsu. You shouldn't drink from blood pack every single time." Aria said to Kotsu with a somewhat lecturing tone. Like an adult telling a kid not to eat ice cream for breakfast. "Fresh blood is good for your mind. So I suggest you raise some leeches for yourself."

From the box inside her waist bag, aria pulled a massive reddish leech almost as big as a coke bottle. The sight of it might disgust some people, but Aria just hold it firmly. "I'm actually thinking of giving you a present for inviting me to the amusement park. How about I teach you how to raise some leech pack? I can also introduce you to some of my leech enthusiast friends!!"

"When the fuck did I make a plasma gun?" Sam had never done so that she was aware. Last mission she'd built a bike, but...

Ideas came to light. "Where's my toolbox?" She dug through the stuff strapped to her bike and pulled out the red toolbox. Then she remembered something else.

"How is this supposed to be effective when the demon isn't present?"

"Well obviously we're going to wait till we find the demon." Owls says rolling her eyes. "I just figured we should know what we are creating from now. I think I'll program something on my lap top."

Kotsu turned to Aria. "Really? I'd like that a lot. The last leech you gave me a couple months ago wasn't too bad actually. But I've sustained on blood packs for a while. I'd love to learn how to raise a leech pack though!" Kotsu said getting excited and chatting with Aria happily about raising leeches. "So how did you get them to be so fat? D'ya feed 'em blood from blood packs or d'ya let em feed on big animals?" Kotsu said, breaking his usual proper talking. It was clear that Kotsu was getting comfortable with Aria as well. It made him happy to have someone want to teach him something, and to deepen his bonds with someone again. Kotsu calls back to the twins. "Can you teach me how to make some of that salve stuff later too? I'm uh, almost out." Kotsu said rubbing his neck.

The twins looked over at Kotsu and tilted their head, putting a finger to their lips. "Um... I suppose we can try to teach you, wait right there!" They said, the two ran back into the building, up the stairs, and into their room. They threw open their container and began grabbing out several bottles to collect their supplements in, before grabbing an introductory alchemy book. 01 paused, before grabbing a marker, realizing that they'd have a little bit of trouble with actually getting the cauldron ready. They also grabbed a backpack as they left their room once again.

The two were back in a matter of moments, 01 holding a couple of bottles, 02 holding the alchemy book and balancing a few bottles on top of it, along with a backpack slung around his shoulder. "We're back~" They said in unison, setting down their things next to the cauldron. "Right, we have this beginner's book, feel free to take a look. We... um... we kind of need to find a few stones." 01 said as he gestured to the book, now bottle free.

The two quickly walked back to the field and began looking for large, flat rocks. It would have been better if they had some properly sculpted stone, but with their time crunch, they'd just have to make this work. After a bit of searching, they managed to find enough to make two stone circles around the cauldron. During their search, they managed to find a large stick that would work for stirring the cauldron's contents. They then began to mark each stone with a different rune.

If Kotsu bothered to look at the alchemy book... well... it was quite incomprehensible. Intricate symbols marked the pages, going into quite lengthy details about the alchemical process, quality and traits of the reagents used reflecting onto the items created, and how alchemy was a natural process in which the alchemists seemed to communicate with the Earth and the ingredients that they use in order to create something new. The only thing that was straightforward were the ingredients listed for different recipes.

Aria

Aria's eyes gleamed when she heard Kotsu's agreement. She rubbed her two hands in excitement.

"Each type of leech has different favorite source of food. Depending on their species and personality. This one here is Scarlet. They are not picky about their food and can stomach a lot of blood at once. I usually give them raw liver but I recently opened a leech therapy at HQ to give my pets new treat. Nobody want to try it though so," Aria just shrugged, she might just cancel that leech therapy project.

"Anyway, just come to my place in the HQ's residental area later. Master will be very pleased with new member."

Aria joined Kotsu and the twins in brewing the alchemy recipe. She looked at the current set up and felt a bit familiar with it.

"Isn't this like... cooking?" Pot, ladle, and broth. Aria thought the twins looks like mother cooking some stew for breakfast.
