Fandom American Horror Story: Coven

Running straight into Cole, Syndra couldn't help but giggle once seeing Coles occupation. "Speaking of which Cole you have to meet Helen, she was the lovely person who invited us here." She said gesturing to Helen who stood infront of the two. Due to seeing Cole had only been obserbing so far she thought giving Cole a little nudge towards Helen may loosen her up a bit.

"It's nice to meet you, and I'm hoping you'll join us?" Helen asked, innocently. "The party is better when you're on top." she added, winking toward the brunette. She could tell the girl would be privy to her advances. One of her waiters passed by with crystal stemmed glasses of abstanith. She stopped him with a brush of her fingers, then 'influenced' him to offer the younger ones the drink. "Drink with me? They say this is the drink of the divine." she laughed, her light voice sounding like bells. She then tilted her head back and took a nice swallow of the beverage.

"You as well." Cole hummed, "I'd be happy to"

Holding the glass delicately in her hand, Colette knew it would be very improper of her to decline, though she was the designated sober one who was charged with mommying the newbies tonight. As the room grew louder and more full for a brief moment, Cole took the chance to heat the glass up high enough to lower the actual alcohol content immediately after it was handed to her.

"To a wonderful night, and the hopes of easy headaches tomorrow." She said, throwing the drink back after cooling it down. Cordelia had taught her go retract the head she put out, much like stuffing a light or a fireplace. The liquid was still very warm though but not to a point where it would hurt her.

Hector couldnt help but feel everything about this party was far too well done. As if it was more a distraction of something other than peoples troubles. Still, in a manner he wanted to remain oblivious to it. With all that happened he kept to taking his own drinks. Still with his switchblade in his pocket, it gave him a piece of mind to know he wasn't unarmed.

He then noticed the woman next to Cole, Syndra and the others. From how they were showing respect, she must be the host of the party. He still felt a bit uneasy so he thought it best to have fun while keeping in sight of the group. Drinking his whisky and coke, he mingled like a ghost from place to place, making small talk, attracting eyes, but without getting too much attention.

Benjamin sighed as he watched party goers socialize and talk. He mainly sipped his Coke and sat at his table. 'Perhaps it would be best to socialize as well.' Benjamin thought to himself. He got up from his seat and walked around to spot other people who might be good to interact with. Ben noticed another male coven member moving around and mingling. Deciding to talk with that person, Benjamin walked through the party and met with the other warlock. (@Reaper\.44 ) "Hello there, quite the big party isn't it?"

It wasn't long before Niklaus was also enjoying the party himself. Looking around for the others, he walked further into the room. He had got separated pretty easily so he made his way to the nearest alcoholic drink he could find. There were multiple girls dancing all over him but all he could do was laugh and avoid them as much as possible. "Not interested, sorry" He said clearly, multiple times to others around. Niklaus then closed his eyes for a few seconds and used his power to locate the nearest drinks. Then instantly, already feeling it. He grabbed a beer and sat near a couple, making out. Laying back, he wondered why he actually came. What were parties for anyway?

Eli swayed with the beat, far out into the crowd now. The pull that was driving him to the farthest edge of the party now guided him back to the entrance.

'I....don't understand....' he thought as his body rocked to the songs. It was all so foggy. He willed himself back into focus, forcing himself to stay alert. He cut through the crowd, using his power to make his way to the light. When he got there, he saw most of his group hanging on to every word coming from the tall, breathtaking woman. The odd feeling he had entering seemed to roll off her shoulders like waves in an ocean. He wondered how his friends didn't notice before locking eyes with the woman. It all seemed to vanish, though she looked pissed toward him.

"Hey, guys. What's going on?" Eli asked, entering their little circle. His voice was shaken and he glanced at each of them, who looked happy to be in her company.

He noticed a new comer, who looked like he was enthralled as well. Eli checked him out a bit before snapping back to reality and keeping his focus on staying aware. He saw the glass in Cole's hand and sighed.

"I guess I'm driving tonight." he said, looking disappointed in the girl. He was okay with them drinking normal drinks, but the green would make them loopier than a cheap carnival ride.

"Dont worry, you guys are safe. I won't tell on you." he said, knowing full well how it felt to be a kid at a party.

Syndra looking over at Eli downed her drink getting a new green one from a nearby tray. "Don't worry Eli, let loose and have fun. Kyle will be our DD. Speaking of which this is the lovely Helen, she is the host of this extravagant party." She said referring to the girl infront of them.

"Yeah, I noticed." Hector replied. He didnt remember the guys name, but he knew his face, and that was enough for him. "Not to ruin the atmosphere, but have you noticed something...I dont know, odd about this thing? Other than the 1920 setting. If I didnt know better, I'd say Al Capone would show up with a Tommy gun"

"I can see that." Eli replied, giving her outfit a good look over. "Well, I think I'm gonna go, I'll see--" As Eli tried to walk by, his arm was snagged by the hostess. Her grip was strong and sure to leave bruises. "Elliot, stay. I insist." she purred, an odd look in her eye. 'What the fuck? How do they not see any of this?' he thought as he stepped back and stayed. "I was thinking we'd adjourn to a private part of the house, to enjoy cake. It is my birthday after all." Helen mused, with a wide smile. To Eli, it looked twisted. 'Come on, Syndra. Use your divination.' he thought, accidentally compelling the girl.

Benjamin pursed his lips at the boys comment. "Hmm....well I would think things might be at work here, considering that there is a large amount of witches, warlocks, and the kind. " Benjamin took a sip of his soda before remembering something. "Oh, I forgot..." Benjamin held out his hand, "I'm Benjamin."

Hector took Noah's hand and shook it "Hector. Good to see-" Suddenly, something caught the corner of his eye. "Her?"

A girl walked into the room with caramel skin, dark red lips and ebony black hair. She was dressed in a silver starlight dress. Backless with the hips to bare. Hector had no idea, but why she was here of all places he had to know.

"I'll be right back."

Downing his drink, he followed the girl out of the hall and into the next room.

Benjamin arched one of his eyebrows as Hector quickly walked off. Obviously something had caught his eye, or someone. Ben sighed as he was once again left with nothing to do. Scanning across the room, Benjamin noticed another warlock sitting and seemingly bored as well. Thinking that Hector might take some time, and not be right back, Benjamin walked over to the guy sitting (@Sunasa ) and introduced himself. "Hello, I'm Benjamin."

Niklaus looked around the room to try and hear where the sound came from. He was a bit buzzed so it was a bit strange to see or hear right now. He took another gulp of the beer and looked up to the boy standing before him. Niklaus couldn't tell if it was the beer or if he was, but it seemed as if this "Benjamin" was quite attractive. Snap out of it. Niklaus thought to himself and tried to make a simple introduction so he could maybe put off a good view.

"Sorry. I'm Niklaus. You look strangely familiar. You don't happen to go to Miss. Robichaux’s do you?"

Niklaus eyed him from up and down, getting a good look on him. Maybe it was time to stop with the drinks and actually have a welcoming conversation. "You're free to sit, if you like". Niklaus stated as he scooted over a bit to make room for Benjamin.

Benjamin smiled as he sat down next to Niklaus. He smelt of alcohol, and the beer in his hand made it evident to Benjamin that he might be getting a buzz. Ben glanced around before continuing the conversation. "Yes, I just recently joined. I do spells and potions and the like. What is your ability?"

Niklaus made sure to make only a slight bit of room so he'd be sitting quite close to the attractive warlock. "I'm the guy you come to if you've lost something. It's like divination. Sometimes I like to see in the future but it's a bit hard on me". Niklaus made sure to look around remembering that this was usually not normal stuff for mortal ears. He saw a girl who looked at him with perturbed eyes. "So you're like psychic or something?" Oh f*ck. She heard me. He though. Niklaus looked up to her. Trying to act sort of drunk to maybe trick her. "Yea...like... I can like. See your palm" Niklaus then let out a laugh. Trying to fake it as best as possible. He took the girls hand and she snatched it away from him quickly. Realizing that he was drunk.

Niklaus then turned back to Benjamin and started to laugh.
"Sorry about that. What can you do?"

Benjamin simply smiled as Niklaus did his act. He was some what a strange person and perhaps really under the influence. "Me? I'm just really apt at performing spells, rituals, making potions...that kind of stuff. " Benjamin said as he dug through his pockets. He pulled out a phial, "For instance this potion here. I bring it along as it is handy at any party. It's not poison or anything though." Benjamin said as he gently rocked it back and forth in his hand. "Though I could make some deadly poisons.......however, this is simply an effective anti-drunk potion. Relieves one of all symptoms of alcohol. Unfortunately the good buzz you get from drinking goes away too."

Cole nodded to the music, the even still weak drink tearing into her throat. Niklause was speaking to some other boy, presumably this flirt for the night. Her eye kids felt heavy but she wouldn't let herself fall asleep. Almost the instant her eyes shut for more than a second, someone's hand touched her waist. Their fingers threaded lightly, as if they were scared to make too much contact or else become diseased.

"Care to come dance with me?" The same girl from earlier asked. There wasn't a hunt if alcohol on her breath, but hadn't this girl been taking down drinks earlier with Cole?

"Why not." She said, holding her best composure. "If it is alright with you all, lll be with another's company"

With that, The girl laughed to herself and pulled Cole around her waist to the dance floor.

Syndra had noticed Helen start to be forceful towards Eli it raising a mental red flag. Starting to become suspicious of Helen's sketchy-ish acting now she was hesitant to use her divination on someone she had just met, but with Eli's compulsion it seemed she had no choice. Once using it her eyes and mind were now open to what Helen really was which she hadn't been aware of through her tipsy haze. Looking over at Helen she replied in a serious, low tone, her tone shifting from her previous care free one. "Even if it's your birthday, which would be a big coincidence might I add, that doesn't give you the right to hurt my friends nor your guests. I'd rather hang out at some bar instead of your party if this is how you treat your guests. If it is then we may have a problem darling." she said gesturing towards Eli's bruised arm shooting dagger's at Helen. Although she hasn't known Eli for long, witches and warlocks stick together.

Helen glared at the woman, the brightness and hopsitality gone from her eyes. She smirked, letting the glamour disipate completely.

"So, it seems like this group a white bread witches aint so stupid after all." she seethed, flinging her arms out at the two with her.

"Now, go get ya damned fairy dust buddies and get down to ma chambers before I get pissed an' burn ya all where ya stand." Helen whispered, using her dark magic to move Syndra and Eli beyond their will.

"And you better hope they don't cause any commotion...pissin' me off." She began gliding across the room, dragging the two along. She beckoned the new boy with her finger, sensing strength in his gifts as well.

Syndra walked forcibly against her will along side Eli shooting him a concerned look within her eyes, though her confidence still radiated off of her. "Now, now Miss.Helen you shouldn't be picking a bone that isn't yours to pick you know. Why the need for such hostility now? We are all just friends after all. Such hostility isn't really necessary with the treaty in place. You wouldn't want to cause any disturbances just when everything is running oh, so smoothly now wouldn't you? Some bad consequences may arise from senseless, brash actions like ones you are performing." Syndra's eyes scanned the room as they walked searching for items she could use her telekinesis on to throw towards Helen; the only items she saw would be hard to use due to them being amongst a crowd of people, she didn't want to risk others possibly getting hurt or causing a scene. They were amongst humans after all, not everyone there was a witch or warlock.

Benjamin sighed as he put the phial of potion away back in his bag. He had a few potions on his person too but those were all hidden. Getting up Benjamin gestured towards a punch table. "Would you like some more drink...that is not alcohol Niklaus?" Benjamin said as he moved towards the table. Unfortunately, Benjamin had been sitting in a non-comfortable for a bit of time, and standing up suddenly caused him to feel a bit disoriented. Stuttering in his step, Benjamin walked into Syndra as her, Ms. Helen, and Eli were walking by. "Oh, I'm dreadfully sorry. i wasn't watching where I was going..."

"For God sakes, she-- mmmph!" Eli's mouth suddenly felt stuck, with no way to open.

"Excuse him," Helen smiled darkly, "He's about to get gutted. I'd do you in too, but spellcraft is the least of my worries." She grimaced, flicking her arm out once again. She sent a force of dark power his way, not caring what happened to the young man.

"Now, I'm gonna let you go," she saidto Syndra, "But you try anything and I'll have your buddy looking like a roasted pig. Got it?" She asked, sickeningly polite.

Syndra couldn't understand what Eli was going to say due to Helen having done a spell on him, making him unable to speak. Seeing Benjamin and not knowing who he was she listened to Helen's exchange with him and swallowed harshly hearing her threatening words. Her thoughts raced confused as to why she would let her go, and why was Eli going to be punished. Guilt swallowed in her up the feelings of playfulness and fun that had filled the room vanishing only to have been replaced by feelings of dread. Nodding to what Helen had said to her she shot Eli a look a plan already forming as to how she would get him out of this situation as she spun on her heels to leave, her body disappearing into the crowd. She had to find someone who could be useful of assistance and fast.

Benjamin was flung into a small table as it broke from the force. Groaning as he got up, Benjamin saw one of the girls he assumed was captive, wander into the crowd. The other boy was still stuck with the lady. What Benjamin thought of the lady rhymes with witch. The young warlock quickly ran and grabbed his bag and pulled out an assortment of ingredients. Mixing reagents together, Benjamin produced a phial of a black mixture. Soon he went into the crowd to find the girl that had walked away. Finding the girl, Benjamin approached her, "Hey, who was that woman?" Benjamin asked, with slight pain in his voice. "And what does she want with you and that boy?"
