As the others exited the office, Elliot fought the urge to go away with him. He had wanted to deny the fact that the deranged psycho had a special eye for his hide. But the fact that Cordelia's hand still lay on his shoulder said everything he was trying not to. Kyle nodded his head to the headmistress as he closed the door behind himself. The "click" let Eli know that whatever was going to be said was of high priority and was to be kept between the tow of them only. He walked over and took a seat in the high-backed chair before Cordelia's desk. A nicely decorated afghan had been thrown over the top, adding a much needed dash of color to the bleak cream-shaded fabric. "Miss Goode," he began, chewing his lips while thinking of the right things to say, "I think that our student/teacher relationship would flow a heck of a lot better if we were honest with one another." Eli crossed his arms and stared her down, his grey eyes hardening into a sharp steel silver.
