Fandom American Horror Story: Coven

Syndra had been searching for some of the other students through the crowd. At the time Benjamin approached her she had been making her way over towards Niklaus once spotting him but was stopped by his presence. Immediately being able to tell he was a warlock as they exchanged words. "That women is the one who is hosting this party, her name is Helen. What she wants from me and Eli I have no clue. What I do know is that I need to get help for him since she is going to hurt him, and the last thing I need is for one of the newbies at the academy getting hurt on their first day. Its my fault anyways. I'm the one who brought them here..... Can you possibly help me with this mess?" she asked hopeful he may be of some use of help. She had no idea of what to do in this situation since it was a first for her and Cole's normal routine but she couldn't just abandon Eli like that. Even if she wasn't crazy about the guy or anything.

Benjamin wondered what Helen could possibly want from the witches and warlocks. "Well, I can provide some counter to her magic." Benjamin said as he held up the phial of black liquid. Lifting his shirt partially up, Benjamin applied some potion to his finger and drew a few symbols on his chest. "These symbols should prevent her from using any dark magic. Like the one she used on me earlier." Benjamin said as he looked at Syndra. "um....it also works if the symbols are written on your forehead." Benjamin stated, not wanting to apply the potion so close to a woman's area on her chest. "How do you think we could help Eli or any others?"

Syndra curiously watched him apply the mysterious black potion onto his body, watching him draw the markings onto his frame. Looking back up at him away from the symbols inscripted onto his body she responded to his question. "I was thinking a few of us can distract Helen away from Eli and possibly lure her away from him. While luring him away we can get another one of us to Eli and bolt for it back to the Academy. I know it's not the best of ideas but that's all I have gotten so far...." Syndra pondered the people who could be useful of help. Niklaus's divination could be of some use along with Colette and/or Hector's pryokinesis in case Helen becomes violent, she has proven so already with Benjamin and god knows what worst may result. Ashton could also use his Transmutation to get to Eli the safest out of all of them and get him out. Now to find them all was the only thing in the way. Syndra informed him then of the people she had in mind for the task as she thought of whom may be of use. "What do you think? Any thoughts are of use but we need to move fast."

After the dinner, Natasha was tasked with gathering everyone's dishes so that Kyle could wash them properly. While she usually would be studying potioncraft in the greenhouse, it was suggested by Cordelia that she get out of there for a bit so that she could greet the new witches. She was appointed as head server at dinner time and was tasked with giving everyone their meals. For the most part dinner wasn't a total disaster, with the exception of a group of rowdy table guests who made it their mission to paint the floors with pizza. Said guests were given a lengthy scolding before she conjured up mops for them to clean up their messes after all of their other housemates went to bed. After Kyle left to drop off a handful of students at a club, she spent most of that time cleaning up the dining area. Another new student who was late to the introduction speech came in through the kitchen to grab the leftover pizza after he shortly arrived. She was busy, so she didn't have time to give him a proper greeting before he went off to the club with the others. Her mind drifted with trivial thoughts about the whole day as she was storing the leftovers when Kyle returned. Glancing back to him she flashed a welcoming grin before she placed a pizza pan on the bottom rack of the refrigerator."Hey Kyle. Those newbies are a handful aren't they? How do you think we can handle taking care of this many people?" she stated while deciding on grabbing herself a few slices of supreme pizza and then warming it up in the nearby microwave.

Dexter winced as the noisy students began to file out into the nearby bedrooms. His foot tapped violently against the bedroom wall as he could sense the energized moods of the students adjacent to his room, of which in turn made him more impatient and put him into an agitated state of mind. "Jesus Christ.." he growled as the tenants in the room behind him began to increase in noise volume. Throwing his sketchbook at the end of the bed he frantically searched for his iPod so that he could cancel out the noise with some soothing music to relax him. He had a huge headset that he used to use when traversing many nights alone in the city to block out the bullcrap that was in the streets. His violent foot tapping subsided and he let out a sigh of relief as the music successfully blocked out the noisy dorm buddies. Such relaxation only lasted minutes before he was startled by an abrupt banging on the side of the wall he rested his head. "Oh screw this!" throwing the headset across the room and jumping out of the bed. "I'm hungry anyways, you f*ckers!" he bellowed before exiting the haven that was his room to go downstairs, hoping that remnants of the nights dinner remained.
The hypnotizing effects of the vibrating music had Makaela in a euphoric daze. The majority of the guests gravitated towards the dance floor than at any of the bars, of which was perfectly convenient for her. She wouldn't have to face the reality of how pathetic she actually was. Just a few more rounds of apple martini and her she'd hopefully be able to forget the rest of the night. Taking a long sip from her current glass before leaving it half empty, she exhaled deeply, letting the liquid flow into her system. She flung her head back so that she could sweep the tapestries of thick hair from her chest. Taking a moment to look around she bopped her head to the music as a way to block out her own thoughts. Suddenly a heavy force shook the bar surface, causing her drink to spill on her. Mortified, she leaped out of her seat in disbelief. Makaela then spotted a guy a couple seats away getting up from his assumed impact. He rushed into the crowd before she could get his attention. "Hey asshat!" she screamed while stomping her way into the crowd. When she finally caught up to him,he was with another girl of whom she couldn't properly identify due to too many drinks. Interrupting the conversation she approached him. "Hey, don't you walk away from me like that! You owe me a new dress you ass!"

Benjamin was thinking about what other students were around that could help save Eli, when suddenly his hearing was assaulted by loud shouting and insults. The girl was going on about something about her dress being ruined. Benjamin could conclude that his collision from earlier might have caused drinks to spill on the girl, who obviously was drinking alcohol. "I'm sorry for your dress," Benjamin began, trying his best not to scowl, frown, and swear back at the girl who called him an ass. "I was thrown by one of the other party guests and unfortunately landed too close to you." Benjamin sighed, the party was indeed noisy, and he had a hard time thinking. They had to act quick. "Syndra, perhaps if we get one other person, we can use the element of surprise on Helen."

Eli could feel a cold chill run down his back as Helen held him in place. The fact that no one had come yet was slowly driving him mad, fueling his efforts to try and get away. 'Let me go.' He thought, putting every ounce of strength into his compulsion. Unexpectedly, her grip wavered for a moment. It was all he needed, breaking through and running away. "Syndra, everybody!!! Run!" He yelled, reaching his friends.

"You will not escape me!" Helen yelled out from behind him, thrusting her hands out over them. A poor young woman who just so happened to be standing in the grand doorway was caught victim to the old doors slamming to a close-- her body slid down in a bloody mess, halved.

Eli looked away from the carnage as a fire erupted on the dancefloor, with its inhabitants igniting in quick sucession. "Come on, we have to get out of here!" He called out to the others, further distancing himself from the catalyst of all the destruction whilst searching for a way out.

Her mind was muddled in confusion, the blurred voices of the boy and girl in front of her echoed in her head. She experienced a floaty sensation in her brain, now realizing that she was barely able to stand upright. Her soiled dress began to stick to her thighs and crotch region while the boy and girl continued discussing who knows what. The very pits of her stomach began to rise in temperature as she could no longer bare the idleness of waiting for a proper solution. She spat a few syllables in protest when the background noise in her head suddenly grew louder and invaded the depths of her eardrums. Sweat quickly perspired on her scalp while she was thrusted in a myriad of directions, barely able to run in a constant direction. Flickering brightness and the smell of flesh invaded her nostrils. Gradually her mind finally gathered up enough strength to recognize the danger she is in. Dancing flames and screeching bodies surrounded her while she miraculously found a spot on the edge of a bar to hang on to while she tried to think of a way out.

Before Syndra was able to reply a girl in a soiled dress made her way into the conversation she had going on, and the room suddenly ignited as she had a fleeting glance at Eli." How in gods name was he able to get out of that mess alone? Did someone aid him?" She asked herself quietly before the room and its inhabitants were set ablaze. Panic flooded the room as carnage began. Seeing the drunken girl stumble away to the edge of the bar she knew she would fall victim to the carnage if not helped, it didn't take a genius to realize that. Shoving Benjamin ahead she shouted towards him to get out and search for Eli before shoving her way telepathically through the sea of scared teenagers and young adults towards the drunken and soiled girl. Grabbing her arm she dragged the girl practically as she searched for a way out. "Come on now, I ain't leaving you to burn." While she stumbled through the crowd trying to get away from the flames she used her Divination to help find the nearest exit which to her disadvantage was through the back of the building, which would be harder to get to when having to drag along a drunken girl and shove frantic, scared youths out of the way.

Ashton had been having a great time not realizing the whole ordeal until flames burst through the room and who he recognized to be Eli, rushing through the crowd from the direction. Immediately getting a head start before panic arose, he teleported to Eli and was able to catch up with him with ease. "Eli, the hell is going on?" he asked confused from how the whole atmosphere changed so soon. He didn't understand where in the world was Eli going, but he decided to follow anyways so he was close by to another student and so he wasn't alone within the chaos surrounding him.

"W-Woah what the hel-" Makaela yelped as she felt a strong arm grab her. She could faintly make out her words while her heeled boots stomped harshly on the glass pavement to keep up the pace. Though she somewhat appreciated the idea of someone else helping her out, she felt greatly discouraged at being so vulnerable during a situation like this and not being able to figure things out on her own. Coughing violently she shoved these thoughts aside as she focused on keeping a constant breathing rhythm. The girl's grip on her arm was strong and she didn't seemed as panicked compared to everyone she could make out. She kept a strong running pace until she stopped, realizing that a way out wouldn't be that easy. Yes she was drunk, but she was still a witch, and helping the girl out is the best thing she could do at the moment. Focusing her power into her body, she felt the chilliness of ice rise in her stomach, through her chest, and into the base of her throat. "Wait. I'll see if I can clear us a path" she assured while she turned around in the direction of the nearest exit. "It may be too much, but burning to death is at the bottom of my list of ways to die." Inhaling a large amount of oxygen, Makaela blows out icy winds from her mouth that spread out in a v-formation in front of her. Flames in the path were smothered by the force while many fleeing pedestrians froze where they stood, their bodies stuck in place along with the layer of ice that covered the pathway. Looking back behind her she tilted her head to signal her to follow.

Benjamin heard the sudden shouting and increase of heat. Apparently, Eli had been able to escape, but now most inhabitants of the room were on fire....fire!? Benjamin quickly began to panic. He had heard of the ways witches of old had been burned alive, and fire was the thing that struck the most fear into his heart. His heartbeat racing, Benjamin quickly gathered his thoughts and quickly ran through the room looking for Eli. Benjamin eventually saw Eli with another student. He quickly made his way over to them avoiding most of the chaos. "Quick! Any of you know where an exit is?"

Meanwhile, another black limousine was due tonight to deliver yet another student to Robicheaux's Academy. The incident involving Lucian Carter occurred only hours after the dinner at the Academy was over. Lucian sat at the very back of the limousine with two albino men in suits manning the front. He leans back in his seat, letting air invade his lungs while beads of dried cold sweat remained on his forehead, face, and neck.

"I know what it's like to be isolated from everyone else because of something they cannot understand.." the lady who accompanied the men had said. Her frail but soothing voice echoed in his head as he recalled the conversation right before he was lead to his next destination. His mind wandered for many long spans of time, his mind jumping to the night's events, towards what happened years ago that lead to his abandonment. But his mind kept eating away at all of his thoughts to unveil a certain emotion that he wasn't ready to express. Guilt. His mom was probably still at the hospital, unbeknownst to the wrenching realization that one of her little boys is gone. She must be so disappointed in him, always a thorn in her side when he had the chance to make something of himself but he had to ruin it by doing, no, BEING something he had no business being. But he would never know how she truly felt, never actually being close to her that much to begin with. What was it that made it so hard to communicate what you truly felt to someone else? Was it being afraid of what others thought of him....? Or was it being afraid knowing what he might think of himself. His mind turned to darker thoughts, pools of overflowing wetness trying desperately to escape his eyelids. His eyebrows furrowed tightly as he sniffled down built up snot, facing the window to focus on what he could see from it.

The night of madness had come to a close yesterday with Kyle last minute picking up the students whom had escaped Helen's wrath. The surviving students all sat within Cordelia's office. Cordelia sat behind her desk regally looking upon her students with Kyle lingering around within the room observing the conversation as he served Cordelia tea. Cordelia's usually calm exterior seemed disturbed. Eyebrows furrowed slightly with her gaze sharp, the air filled with tension and disappointment seemed to suffocate the students as her stern tone filled the room with a simple sentence that was enough to make her students quiver. "Who's brilliant idea was this?" Her gaze flickered across the students immediately stopping upon Syndra who's head was lowered, unable to meet the eyes of their coven supreme. Knowing the girl for quite a while already she guessed it was more likely her idea due to her previous behavior making her a leading suspect, her suspicion was answered when the platinum blonde replied the answer Cordelia already knew. "It was I. But I didn't think-" With a wave of her hand Cordelia cut off Syndra's poor excuse of a reply, her voice drenched with exasperation. "I already know it was you, now the real question is how in the hell did this happen? Do you realize how much damage this whole mess could have resulted in? You put students in danger without a second thought resulting in some receiving injuries! There were non witches and warlocks there as well! You all cannot freely use your abilities to harm the innocent pulling others into this mess! God knows how many casualties resulted in this. Although i'm not going to entirely blame you for the whole situation, it couldn't have predicted but it could have been avoided which is my point. I'm highly disappointed in all of you but especially those who are veterans in this situation. This isn't a very good example that is being set now is it? Now im not one for lectures so i'll make this short and simple. Someone tell me how did this whole mess start?"

Eli entered the office, accompanied by Kyle. The former seemed to be slightly off in the matters of the mind. He didn't know what to think of the events that transpired last night. He was just glad he was able to get as many people as he could out of the massacre.

He couldn't explain how he and Ashton were able to pull the mass-transmutation off. The idea should have been impossible and yet the majority of their group survived.

The man stood before his supreme, having heard her about to chew Syndra out. "No offense, ma'am, but we have bigger problems than blood being shed in one place. That woman has a vendetta against you and your coven for matters that didn't even concern us. She was willing to kill me, and if I hadn't overpowed her she very well might have." He shrugged off the last of Kyle's attempts to withhold him. "Cordelia," he said, as if they were on the same level of being, "We need to prepare for what is coming at us. She was impossibly strong...and just as ruthless. This isn't gonna be a petty clique fight-- all out war is coming."

Makaela had found herself back in this wretched school. She sat at the very end of the row of witches; she let her hair hang from her right side as she stroked it, her expression was patient, yet annoyed. She had gone out to escape, to escape somewhere that was far away so that she could taste the freedom that she so desired. She couldn't withstand the brutal judgements and biting comments that were sent her way; if only she could break their necks without Cordelia knowing, but unfortunately, she's the Supreme. Cordelia had yet to discuss her actions that night, because hers were worse than the what everyone else had done. Several bystanders caught in her blast ended up burning to death, even with the ice melting eventually. Makaela had been avoiding her gaze, focusing her attention on the others, as if she was the one lecturing them as well.
Dexter had been instructed to be present in Cordelia's office, her feeling that his powers were going to be needed. They were going to need to get to the bottom of this, so dispelling any idiosyncrasies now could alleviate future problems later. He stood with his arms crossed from behind her, his widened eyes unnaturally intense. He glared at all of the students in front of her, adding onto the tenseness that was already apparent. His lie detection power was already activated. The moment anyone uttered a lie or signaled that he or she was about to, his senses would pick up on it immediately and he would inform the Supreme afterwards once everyone was dismissed. For now, he observed the harsh lecture with acute observation, making note of all of the students' posture and the way they spoke. As Syndra first spoke, he could easily see the disappointment in herself in the way she was postured and how she began her excuse. She was telling the truth as his body didn't respond to anything that she was doing. He glanced at Eli and Kyle as they voiced their opinions on this situation, but he was still focused on the students before him. He cursed internally, realizing that what had happened ages ago was repeating itself. He became even more determined to do his job, his attention sharper as Cordelia asked what had happened.

Cole felt dirty looking at Cordelia, so she kept her eyes to the floor until she was asked to speak. Her shoulders straight and back upright to show respect, but her voice was still shakey from the fright. It was hard to look at such a disspointed Cordelia in the eyes. This was her worst fear after all, and it was like she was in her own little hell right now.

"I was the designated one. I didn't drink anything, and when the host handed me a flute I burned the alcohol out. We thought it was safe as the parties were well known and always in our territory. She brought me and Sydnra drinks and that's when this lady started to get forcefull. The rest was like I'd been hit over the head with something as Syndra went with Ben to go plan something out. Past that all I remember is being ran out of the building and brought home. I know you aren't asking for excuses. But all I can say is it was a foolish decision." Cole sighed, racking her brain for more memories. She felt like something was literally killing her. Her leg was still warm from the fire burning her, and although the skin might not be badly burned, the hem of her dress on that side is scorched. The mixture of guilt and pain was overriding her focus.

Cordelia sighed as she listened to the students speak of the ordeal. She knew what Eli was saying is true but she didn't like worrying the students, especially since so many new students had come in just yesterday and some arriving today; now wasn't exactly the right time to have a threat to the coven arise, then again it never is a right time. Looking over at her students she wanted to talk to each individual student in the room to get an idea of what happened in each of their encounters and what they did, also to obtain more information about Helen but for now Helen was the bigger issue rather then the casualties. Looking over her students she spoke after letting the information sink within her. "Look, this isn't an ideal situation and couldn't have been expected. It was a trap, simple as that. Although i'm unhappy about the deaths i'm just happy you all were able to get out alive. You all did everything you could given the circumstances and no amount of lectures can better the situation. The only thing I ask is for you all to be more careful when going out. You all are going to have to be more cautious of your actions in public, we don't know when another incident can arise from this women nor what she is capable of." Sipping her tea lightly she continued on. "Now, is there any ideas as to what this women's motives are? Any information of her is valid and helpful." Cordelia felt bad from grilling her students of information this early in the morning after they had arrived, especially seeing how shaken up some of them were but it needed to be done, and especially now was a better time due to the events still being fresh within their brains.

"She invited us all. Specifically. So she must want to target witches and warlocks. Going off of what happened before... She's holding a grudge." Cole spoke up, her voice quieter now though. It was a relief to know Cordelia wouldn't be totally stripping them of anything, and to know that she understands.

Makaela thankfully had avoided the spotlight and was apparently forgiven for what took place. She adjusted her posture so that she wasn't so defensive. According to what was discussed so far, their was apparently a voodoo witch named Helen who was out for revenge. She drew the obvious conclusion that she must've been the one to start the fire. Makaela was more confused as ever, never hearing anything about this woman until now.(She knows of her, but she can't remember because of the amount of drinks she had) She sat up in her seat, ready to get to the bottom of this. "Just who in the hèll is this bîtch Helen? Why haven't we been warned about her until now? Surely you could've foreseen this coming, right?" She questioned bluntly, looking around the room for anyone to answer her. Her voice slurred slightly as she spoke, clearly still drunk, manic, and depressive.

Feija had witnessed the scene as the other students were brought here, scars, bruises, and various other ailments inflicted on them. She grew nervous and had decided to listen in on the conversation from outside the office. She could make out the gist of what everyone was saying, but her body went rigid at the mention of the voodoo witch Helen. She palmed her mouth in disbelief, clearly disturbed. "No... Oh my god." she whispered in horror. She walked out from the hallway, not wanting the others to know that she was eavesdropping. She didn't want the others to know that she may have had something to do with the what happened, and she definitely didn't want them to know that she knew Helen before coming to the academy; she preferred to not walk down that painful road again.

Benjamin sat in his regular up-right position. His head hung slightly due to his low alcohol tolerance and he still felt a little groggy. He has bruises on his chest from Helens spell and bruises on his back from colliding with furniture. Benjamin certainly hoped that this voodoo witch pays for what she has done. Benjamin then remembered what Helen had said to him last night. Her words were: "I'd do you in too, but spell craft is the least of my worries." Was this Helen targeting specific wizards and warlocks based on their abilities. "I think she might targeting specific people with certain abilities Mrs. Cordelia." Benjamin spoke out. "I think at they party, her primary target was Eli. She told me that my powers were the least of her worries, so she might have a list of who she wants."

Eli looked to Noah and smirked. "That's preposterous," he stated, with a tone of disbelief, "That was just crappy happenstance." He sighed and looked around. "Right? She was after everyone. I just so happened to be closest to the harlot."

The black limousine came to a stop at their destination. Lucian could make out a gigantic white mansion through the blurred car window. "We're here." the girl from before said. The girl was rather odd, her looking somewhat out of place when compared to the albino men who got out of their seats. Her hair was blonde, long, and straight; it came down to her shoulders. She was dressed in all black, a fancy black hat shrouding her youthful face. An albino man opened the car doors for them, both stepping out in sync. Lucian was at a loss for words, the entire building seeming to extend from both ends of his peripheral vision. Lucian had never stepped into a building as big as this, the only thing that could compare being his high school. "I-this is where I'm going to live..?" He mumbled, his words directed at the girl. The blonde haired girl turned in his direction and smirked. "Yep, this is your home now. Welcome to the Coven." Lucian turned to look at the woman when she and the man that were with them disappeared. Lucian looked around for second in confusion when the gates in front of him opened up. He sighed deeply, deciding to drop his temporary search and advanced slowly up the steps and entered through the front door.

Colette looked at Makaela, and ushered in a whisper. "She can't forsee everything. Neither can we. She's a strong voodoo preistess."

Not wanting to get her in any trouble, Cole gave her the 'you seriously need to be quiet' look, and resumed group conversation. "Those of us with more destructive abilities, she did seem to constantly have people on us all night. I know I was erm.. talking with a girl when Helen summoned her for a moment, and sent her back to me. After wards conversation was a lot more on me than her. Eli, I know you dont like to hear it but I think Ben's right. You were definitely one of the more targeted of us that evening."

Cole felt bad for having to say it, but it needed to be said. Eli was targeted. Not that they all werent', but he was special priority. She went to shrug but the bruises she also carried stopped her. Mostly across her chest and shoulders, and a faint black eye was forming although it wasn't swelling at all.

After collectively hearing everyone's theories she nodded in understanding and agreeing with Colette's and Benjamin's theories. "I think you and Ben there Colette may be onto something." Cordelia noted to her before speaking to the rest of them. "Well thank you all for discussing the issue with me immediately. I do apologize for holding you all up upon arrival but it must have been done. Take my words advice seriously to heart in the next few days. Now you may all go and rest for now. Kyle will be preparing breakfast for the others so if your hungry you can join us soon." As the other students started to shuffle out of the room Cordelia leaned over and rested her pale hand onto Eli's shoulder as he started to get out of his chair nearby her. "Will you please stay a bit longer? I don't mean to hold you up further more then I already have but I just wanted to talk more in depth with you if that is alright."

Ashton remaining silent the whole time and listening stood up and left the room along with everyone else. A worried look crossing his face he decided that maybe a bit of fresh air would help clear his head and help him relax. About to grab the handle of the door it swung open for him to his surprise to find Lucian standing in the now occupied doorway. Normally he would have greeted the young warlock but he was too sucked up within his wondering thoughts of the recent ordeal to say anything. Kyle had stepped out from behind Ashton however and beat Ashton first by greeting him, resulting in his is sudden voice startling the already somewhat shaken up warlock. Brushing past Lucian and the 'creepy' Kyle he continued onto the porch before walking to the corner of the porch and leaning against the rail heaving out a sigh. After Ashton's abrupt departure Kyle's momentarily wondering gaze towards the fleeting warlock shifted back to the one within his presence. "You must be Lucian if I am correct. I have been told we were having a late arrival show up today." He spoke in a somewhat welcoming tone. Kyle was used to being so formal and serious around everyone he at times unintentionally sticks to that vibe rather then loosening up a bit and being more friendly and inviting.

Syndra getting up and left the room almost immediately once Cordelia dismissed her. She felt nauseous and disgusted within her self for disappointing Cordelia. Syndra looked up to Cordelia and admired her ever since she joined the Coven and was rejected by her family and dumped here. Of course she had made a few screw ups here and there but this topped it all. She felt as if the whole ordeal was her fault. The feeling of bile creeping up to her room she crept up to her room to sulk there and hopefully not vomit everywhere. Kicking off her heels and shutting the door without lifting a finger she crawled onto her bed and opened up Alice's Adventures in Wonderland to take her mind off things and to loose herself within that world. The book was one she read ever since she was young and a classic favorite of hers, she tended to always read it when feeling troubled; she also had a slight obsession with anything of Alice in Wonderland so anything dealing with the topic made her relax and smile.

Makaela was seconds away from protesting when she felt both Cordelia's and Colette's gazes on her. Her lips curled back dramatically and then relaxed more in her seat, throwing her hands up submissively. She listened to the rest of the conversations in silence, trying her best to place the information she was receiving into her head. Cordelia dismissed them and she was the first one out of the door. She refused any help from anyone else to get to her room, but she ended up tripping over her heels and falling as punishment. She gripped the hand railing of the staircase and she lifted herself up with even more difficulty. She took both of her heels off and felt immediate comfort, the bruises and cuts prominent on the bottom of her feet. She hasn't realized that someone else was there and she nearly fell again as she bumped into Lucian. She cursed loudly as she stumbled to keep her balance. "Watch it buck-weed." she muttered before stumbling away.

Lucian dropped the book-bag that had remnants of his sentimental items and necessities on the carpet when he walked in. With a lucky guess he concluded that he probably had to go upstairs to get himself his own room. He noticed that there were dirty markings and footprints on the carpet, but he paid little attention to it, slightly tired and unconcerned about its cause. He went up the stairs and bumped into a young girl who was probably drunk out her mind. "E-excuse me." He croaked timidly. He winced and narrowed his eyes at her when she insulted him. He looked at her a little while longer before he went to the doorway where she came from. "Must be it." he sighed opening the door. Another young person greeted him, a guy this time. He couldn't see his face that much past his downtrodden expression, but he could tell that the guy had a nice looking face. He pushed the thoughts aside and decided to say something. "O-oh excuse me man, sorry." he mumbled stepping out the guy's path. The guy didn't say anything, but he was too fixated on his features to notice the other guy who greeted him abruptly. He gasped silently at him and blinked a few times. "Yeah, that's me." He scratched his head absent-mindedly as he listened.

Colette nodded, and slunk out of the room with the others. Her first stop was the greenhouse though, to make up some mixtures for everyone's burns and bruises. Some Arnica, Chamomile, Saint John's Wort, and Calendula for the bruises all smoothed out into a paste, with chopped alfalfa sprouts thrown into it. She filled the bowl with it, and began working with the wraps to their burns, using cotton wraps of gauze and smearing smaller strips in aloe, drops of lavender and comfrey salve to alleviate the pain. She places the small strips in a short but wide mason jar, and poured in a very strong black tea and shut it, shaking it in one hand as she used the rest to place her supplies in an old pail to carry it into the house.

Walking into the kitchen, she took a sat in the seat and looked to one of the albino men as they passed by, evidently having just dropped off a brand new student. "Please tell the others to see me in the kitchen for bruises and burns if they haven't been seen already." She asked him, sending him off with a smile. Cole quickly smeared a small amount of the salve on her bruise, and lightly wrapping it up. She knew that if any of them had deep enough burns, they wouldn't be able to cover it with much or else the coverings would heal into it or cause it to be infected. With this bit of information remembered, Colette made a mental note to ask Kyle to help her make a lot of antioxidant teas later, or food with blueberries in it.
