~All Around the World~

Ashley yelped as the alarm blared, covering her ears until the voice boomed over the intercom. 10 minutes, she thought, looking to the box of fruit loops, more determined then ever. She jumped up, reaching for it, and missing, frustration filling her. All she wanted was some fruit loops, and they put it on the highest shelf? Unfair. Frowning, she jumped for it again, knocking over a box of Cheerios, yet not even grazing the fruit loops. "Stupid frickin' cereal," she muttered, jumping for it again.

Then she looked over as the guy approached her, blinking at him blankly. Slowly, she processed what he said, then nodded, "Oh, uh, sure. Thanks."

The Conductor quickly stood up, scooping her limp body up and seating himself on to his bed. He gently stroked her hair, keeping her quiet on his lap. "Can't have you scared now, can I?" He mumbled quietly.

Bella rubbed her eyes. "Bedtime?" She asked with a yawn.

Jenna put her head onto The Conductor's shoulder, shivering slightly. "T-thanks," She whispered, voice trembling. Jenna squeezed her eyes shut and pushed herself closer to The Conductor, famished for safety. "Do you promise you won't tell anyone?" Jenna asked without lifting her head.

Sanz struggled with what to tell her. Fine, just go with it.

"Yes, early bed time. I'll wake you up when it's over."

He arrived at cart 2, looking anxiously at the clock . . . he had roughly 90 seconds before the blackout hit

“Ah… Here, I’ll get them.” He said, reaching up for the box and then handing it to her, “Do you have something against pancakes, or just an above average obsession for Fruit loops?” He joked with a smile. Leading the way for the girl, “Oh by the way, my name is Matt. I have not caught yours yet.” He kept a brisk pace to get to his room, he knew Sage was in the same room and The Conductor and Jenna. “Ah, are you in the same cart as that blue haired guy, Sage?” He asked casually.

---

Walking into the room, Sage stared at the two, Jenna crying gently. Wondering if she should intervene, Sage thought she should cut them a small break before she truly meddled. Sitting down on her bed, Sage slowly consumed her pancakes, appreciating the taste of them. She just wished she could appreciate them at a table, where food should be properly ate.

Rhea cowered as the alarm still went off. Sliding down the side of the wall, she pressed her hands to her hears and closer her eyes. Pulling her knees to her chest, Rhea gently laid her head on her knees, putting pressure on her ears hard enough to block out the nerve racking nose.

The Conductor felt his heart speed up. "There's no one to tell." He quietly whispered as the dim lights began to flicker. The ocean began to loudly stir above them, making him squeeze her body closer to his.

Bella sat on her bed, tucking herself under the thin sheets.

Jenna nodded, letting a few whimpers loose. "I'm sorry." She whispered to The Conductor. wrapping her arms around his torso. "I'm so sorry, Conductor. This is so selfish of me..."

Sanz let out a small sigh of relief. Of course, he wouldn't be able to walk back to his own bed, but you do what you can with the given time. He pulled the covers just a little further over Bella's small body.

"The lights are going to go off now."

The dim lights flickered, and he shuddered a little when he heard the roiling water above them. Who the hell designed this route?!

"Go ahead and sleep, I'll let you know when the time has passed."

The Conductor blushed, throwing his arms up with a smile. "No, stop, it's fine." He whispered, looking over at Sage with a quiet laugh. He gently placed a finger on her chin, lifting her head up to see her eye to eye. "Don't be sad." He smiled, stretching and laying down. "Being in the dark makes me tired." He yawned, wrapping an arm around her and laying her down. He pulled the blanket over them and wrapped an arm around her softly.

"Above average obsession with fruit loops," Ashley said sheepishly, accepting the box from him, "Thanks. And I'm Ashley, or Ash." She scampered to catch up with his brisk pace, her ponytail swinging from side to side. She looked around as people bustled to their rooms, trying to find Aaron among the sea of faces, while keeping pace with Matt. "No, the compartment next to it," she said, remembering a Sage nearby, but not in her compartment. Though, she could be wrong. She had always been terrible at remembering things. Pausing, she scanned the faces, then frowned, dashing forward to catch up with Matt again.

Oh no, I didn't even say goodbye to Sage! Why'd The Conductor have to rush me out like that?! Jenna thought to herself, frowning slightly. Making sure The Conductor was asleep first, Jenna called out, "Sage?"

(Nebula, just… LOL.

Death you should defiantly play along haha… Sage is going to be
BEST friends with Jenna haha.)

Sage caught the glance that The Conductor gave her, He was challenging her. Sage smirk widened,
Challenge accepted. She thought, her eyes shining regardless of the darkness. The Conductor had an edge up on the game, but Sage could come back. After all, The Conductor just made this a tad personal.

"Hmm you called Jenna?" Sage said, finishing off her pancakes and placing the plate down onto the floor.

---

Matt laughed as she chose the later of the two options he had presented her with. “
Nice to meet you Ash. And mine is after it. ” He said happily, “I have yet to remember my roommates. Most are awake before me. I do know I am in the same room and Bella, the little girl. There is also another girl, she never really gets out of bed. I have never heard her talk either. I am kinda worried about her.” When the lights went off, the whole train rumbled a bit and Matt braced himself on the sides of the wall. “Ah… you ok? We should really hurry. I will talk to you later.” He said smiling, rushing to his own compartment.

When he entered it, he noticed Bella was already asleep in her bed, that Sanz kid was a good one. However he noticed that the other girl was missing from her bed. Maybe she was just a little late. But he knew she never got up… Matt frowned, a bit worried about the missing girl.

When the lights when completely off, Rhea squeezed herself harder. The train grew louder as in moved into the ocean. Why was she here? Why can’t she leave? Feeling a silent tears leave her cheeks, Rhea kept herself in a tight ball in the dark hallway. The Train shook hard as it forced its way through the ocean. Rhea let herself sway with the train, silently wishing her brother would save her. But she knew… she knew there was no way he could.

(@Ricia Lol, more than fine with me! Me and Nebula were texting earlier and our converstion was based on Sage. xD )

"Uh, yeah. I... I'm sorry about The Conductor," Jenna sat up quietly, trying her best not to wake her companion.

(Hahaha, this will be fun. Of course Sage will be doing this purely out of fun. She needs someone who is not as soft hearted and stubborn. xD

Do tell
:P )

“It’s ok. The walk her by myself was not all that lonely. Pancakes make excellent company. I am not all that tired… would you like to come sit with me and talk? I think it would help pass the time.” She said, pulling her legs on the bed and leaning against the wall. “Well… I mean if you would like to join me.” She said. She deiced she needed to change her tactics. Taking a deep breath, Sage loosened her tie around her neck and then unbuttoned the first two buttons of her shirt. She also leaned down to take off her dress shoes.

Ashley quickly slipped into her own compartment, shutting the door behind her. "Hello?" she called out softly, not really knowing anyone also staying in this compartment. Hesitantly, she stepped forward, blindly feeling her way around before collapsing on an empty bed. She was wide awake, and the box of fruit loops was in her hands. She opened it, munching mindlessly on the cereal, staring blankly into the darkness, bored out of her mind. She wanted some one to talk to, yet she wasn't sure if anyone was there.

Sanz pulled out a pair of headphones from the hoodie tied around his waist. If he couldn't move, he might as well pull up some music. He just pressed "Random", and was greeted by an OST track from persona . . . perfect. He just laid one hand on Bella's bed, in case she stirred, while he sat back and listened

@Ixidor92

Matt walked over to Sanz and leaned down, taking one of his headphones off to get his attention ,
“Hey Sanz… one of the people in the room are missing… it’s that girl that just lays in bed and doesn’t talk. Have you seen her? I worried.” He said quietly so not to wake sleeping Bella.

(Oh, but of course. Let's just say that The Conductor most definitely wants Jenna... LOL.)

"Oh. Yeah, sure." Jenna whispered, skillfully escaping from The Conductor's tight grasp. She makes her way over to Sage's bed, grinning widely. "Hey," She said, sitting down next to Sage and nodding.

(Hahaha. Well Sage is going to make him squirm haha.)

“Hey.” She said with a smile, “So what do you think of all this so far?” Sage ventured for conversation. She spoke quietly, letting the darkness set the mood. “I think the people around here are all really great. You know? Everyone is pretty nice. I enjoy cooking for everyone. I hope they enjoyed my food and would want me to continue to cook for them.” Sage said, sounding a bit shy as she wrapped her arms around her knees.

---

“Yeah that one… I am not sure if it’s ok to go out and look for her.” He said, his voice rising a bit. He clasped his hand over his month and then glanced at Bella to see if she was ok. “I guess we should just leave it. Maybe I should get the conductor across the hall.” Matt pondered, wondering the best course of action. He thought the best thing was to just leave it, the girl would take care of herself. But another part of him told him he needed to help those in need.

"I think it's pretty cool. I mean, I haven't made a ton of friends, but I have you and The Conductor!" Jenna said, smiling brightly, and nudging Sage lightly with her shoulder. "I don't know, though... The Conductor is acting strange. In my opinion, that is." Shrugging, Jenna turned to face Sage, smiling even brighter once meeting his eyes. "But, hey, I'm not really picky who I'm friends with."

(Ricia No, please don't leave me!
)

Sanz let out a breath between clenched teeth, flicking the man in the center of his forehead.

"Look. Either worry about it and go do something about it, or forget about it. Don't sit here worrying with your thumbs in your ass."

He hated people who were indecisive, it was just how he'd been brought up

Sage smiled, “I don’t think he is acting funny at all. Most guys are kind of shy around girls.” Sage said in a matter of fact-ly way, “Besides, TC is just trying to make sure you are comfortable here. After all, we are all his responsibility.” She said with a smile, “I would be careful around him though… After all, he is an employee of the people who took us away and put us here.” She said, a hint of worry and warning in her voice.

---

Matt frowned when Sanz hit him, rubbing his head. “Ok ok. I was hoping you would go with me. Geez. I’ll be back. If I die… tell them I died a hero.” He said sarcastically as he moved to the outside the room again.

It didn’t take Matt long as he moved up and down the shaky halls to find the girl quietly rolled up in the ground. “Hey there…” He said quietly. She immediately looked up at him, her eyes wide and wet. Geez, she looked just like Bella when she cried but a lot quieter. “Hey, I am your roommate. I was worried when you never showed up in the room. You should probably come with me.” He said.

She looked at him, a bit confused and unfocused. Matt almost pitied her, she was skinny and fail looking. She was obviously not taking care of herself. Reaching out for her hand, she recoiled. “Hey relax, I will take you back to your bad... it is safer there.” He tried to convince her. This time he took her arms and pulled her up. She was easy to pick up, very light weight. “Come one.” He called gently, pulling her with him.

She followed quietly, looking down at the ground the whole way. When they reached the room, Matt called to Sanz, “Found her, I think she got lost. She still won’t talk though.” He said. Sitting her down on the floor next to Sanz, Matt took the seat across from the boy. “Can you even talk?” He asked the girl.

She shrugged, looking at her hands. Slowly she whipped her eyes from the tears that were there earlier.

Matt sighed and slide his hands though his hair, pondering what to do. “Have you eaten today?” He asked again. This time she shook her head.

“Ok... Have you tried to eat today?” Matt asked. This time the girl nodded her head. At least he knew she did try to eat. At least that’s what he wants to tell himself. She most likely got caught by the alarm and had no idea what to do.

Jenna tilted her head to the side in confusion. "What do you mean? You think he would do something...to hurt me?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. "I don't know... The Conductor's been kind to me for most of the time. Well, except for that time when he called me a whore. But, I'm pretty sure he was kidding!"

Bored out of her mind, Ash sat up, putting the box of fruit loops aside and jumping down from the bed. From what she could tell, there was no one else in here and she would rather not sit and stare at a ceiling for an hour. So, she quietly padded through the compartment, opening the door and slipping out. She had no idea where she wanted to go, but just wanted to do something. Maybe wandering around aimlessly for a bit would help ease some of her boredom.

Sighing, Ashley ran a hand through her hair, walking past the compartments, her thoughts running wild. Why the heck were they going under water in the first place? Why did they bring them here? Why did they choose the people they did? Mumbling under her breath, Ashley leaned against the wall, closing her eyes briefly and listening to the silence around her.
