Yeah I don't think Lake would even step in at this point if the mongoose claims that trespassers are punishable by death.

You may just want to find an excuse to have your character step in anyway so that you can start interacting with the rest of the group. The goal of this first chapter is to have all our characters meet and for the mutes to decide they want to help the humans find their way back to their burrow

Regarding post order- there's really not a set order b/c I wouldn't want everyone just waiting on 1 person and holding up the whole group. Since there are 7 people in this RP with varying levels of activity, I think a good rule of thumb is that if there has been at least 4 posts since your last one, then you're good to post another one (I'll add this to our main IC page)

Yeah Ardyn was originally crouching behind the bushes by the road but then Jet came running through and told everyone to keep moving and ran further into the trees!

So when I said "flying" I more so meant moving at a quick speed than actually flying in the air

Also your post didn't explicitly mention which verb/action he was doing so I don't think I should be faulted too hard if I maybe thought he was flying/gliding as opposed to flapping wings/jumping

And in your post, you said that Flame went past the bush that Ardyn was in entirely, retreating further into the shadows of the forest, making me think that everyone was going deeper into the forest which is why Ardyn followed

All good!! I did mistakenly think that Jet was talking to Ardyn and telling her to keep moving but I see now that he was talking to Jonathan. Sorry about that! There just a lot of moving pieces in the different posts and it was hard to keep track of everything

Well, just learned that my brother was in close contact with someone who just tested positive for Covid. This is after I spent 30 minutes in a car with him driving to pick up lunch. So yeah, there goes my week plans

We should both be fine, young and with no other conditions so everything is probably going to work out. As far as plans go I didn't have anything major, although I was hoping to stop by my favorite diner for some breakfast so that's a shame. More worried for my parents though, especially my mom.

It's cool, I've been downloading seasons of anime, tv shows and movies since I heard so it's not like I won't have anything to do. I'll finally be able to put a dent in my backlog, so at least I have that going for me
