I've only every played a bard and a cleric(shortly) so I don't actually have any clue what I'm getting into xD
Well firstly you get to choose a patron! Like a demon, fey, or cthulu, as well as some other fun choices. They give you your power.

They are different from the other spellcasters in that they don't have as many spells. They might consider it a weakness. But you know better.

You see, while you may not have many spell slots, you always get to cast your spells at their max level availabl, meaning your always slinging them about at full power.

Even better! You recover your spell slots after just a short rest. Used all your spell slots? Take a fifteen minute breather and your good to go while the wizard and sorcerer are helplessly watching and out of spell bullets until its bedtime.

And even better than that! You can have eldritch blast! A very fun cantrip thats basically like having a guns in your hands. Essentially shooting laser blasts left and right. Growing to firing multiple at a time.

To add onto that! You get invocations! Which are like special feats that apply to you and your spells. There are some pretty fun and useful ones.

Then comes the subclasses!

You got the pact of the chain! Giving you a pretty sweet and special familiar. much utility. And can even pick ones that you normally could get ahold of. Like a psuedo-dragon.

There is pact of the tome. You get a magic book that lets you record spells as rituals for you to use anytime. And is the subclass to focus on spellcasting. Not to be underestimated.

And there is pact of the hexblade! You get a special weapon bound to you, and can use it very well. It can do some pretty great things. A surprisingly good combatant.

There are likely others too in unearthed arcana content.

Warlock is just a great class for multiclassing into just need 2 levels in it for some powefull eldritch blasts. Hexblade warlock multiclass is very tempting my character the ability to use armor and that eldritch blasts that can combine with quickened spell metamagic can cause a lot of damage in a single round of combat.

Got to be careful though! Lol making a pact with a patron gives the DM a wicked tool to mess with you.

Well! The warlock option falls through! I'm 1 charisma off from 13 which you need to multiclass it. Only thing I could really go multiclassing as is wizard. All my stats are too low for anything else lol

aww that poor int getting no use and I really thought you would want an invisible magic hand that you can do tricks with that only that subclass can do and a magic bird familiar that you could see through

Pft lol
I mean, an Arcane trickster paired with a warlock would be chaotic, I imagine. We'll see what happens by lvl. 3 lol

I did read the snippet about Soulknife. I might go with that for his subclass. Give myself an extra oomph with failed skill rolls and stuff

TyranntX TyranntX As you were mentioning changed spell slots for some classes and such earlier, is there any change for druids at level 2 I should know about? Other than that, I think I should have all changes to the CS done (hopefully without mistakes).

Vrail is either attempting to assist Kalvin with his SAN attribute check, or Diella with whatever Persuasion skill check she is doing. Whatever fits.

Yes, Druids under The Land Circle are part of a "Hive Mind" of sorts when they hit Level 3. You'll be able to talk to other druids if you pass a Telepathy Check (Wisdom)

Oh, there's one thing I neglected to mention... Try to avoid making bad jokes in character if possible from here on out. I gave the Prologue a pass since it was the intro, but from chapter 1 onwards... Strange things may happen when you make groan inducing puns in IC ;)
