not just talking about post. but just activity in general. and there are how many people in this group? just weird that everyone decided to take a lil break around the same time. it's the same for the other RP i'm doing too. silence on their end until, literally, after i made the comment about it being quiet here. then there's a burst of activity on both ends all the sudden.

Well ya gotta understand - real life, y'know? I'm enjoying it but I got a full time job/relationship/IRL stuff - it's the same for others as well. I'm still getting DM'd daily and discussing stuff with almost everyone. Worry if there's silence for like 4-5 days okay? haha

Also - I am going on a two week training course in mid-october so RP miiiiiiiiiiiiiight grind to a wee halt then. I'll be too knackered to write much I think. Fingers crossed it won't though.

For now it's just Belegor's home away from home, where his "niece" Dhalia runs the place. At some point he may invest in it so Dhalia has a nicer tavern. Also Dhalia may be a target for anyone who has it out for Belegor? As of right now? No, simply because Belegor will likely be heading out shortly after the wedding. How come?

Ahh, I saw Lefic mention it in the post. I need a Tavern for Lissa to play at - which is becoming incredibly popular thanks to her...odd musical talent. We've already got three taverns so I didn't want to keep adding to them..but now you've mentioned that...

Maybe tonight, lissa plays there and it's very busy for the first time?
Or I could make another "Main" tavern.

Actually I was gonna ask about that, but I figured you may have another place for Lissa already. That'd be great if you have her play there! Dhalia would love it, not to mention Belegor and Lynn will be meeting up there tonight before their jobs to discuss some business, so that works out well =)

Just need a good reason for her to pick that place - she get's paid a lot when she does it.

That'd work, Drakefall Tavern isn't the most well known place, but still a decent crowd for Lissa! After that business will probably pick up a good amount

You'll have to do a dice roll if you want to "resist" her music however. It's just emotional - it doesn't make you lose control or anything haha.

Here are a few tavern songs from a fantasy novel series, if you were looking for suggestions.

The Bear and the Maiden Fair and The Dornishman's Wife from A Song of Ice and Fire are more jaunty barroom tunes that might be worth appropriating. Though you might want to change the Dornishman to a native of some Aether region since Dorne presumably doesn't exist here.

Lost in Thoughts All Alone and The Heritors of Arcadia from Fire Emblem might be worth looking into.

Edit: Just found a really nice collection of a bunch of fantasy bard songs.

only minor issue is that most of Lissa's songs aren't in a recognizable dialect, which is why Song of Ancients works quite well. these are great though, I'll defo use them
