Act 1

"Compared to the Archipelagos this place feels like the tropics." Astrid joked while having a look at what was in the bags. "Thanks though."

Looking over the tent it seemed to confuse the rugged viking more then anything. She was use to making such things out of tree branches and animal hides. Not 'easy' to assembly polls. When she even bothered with a tent. "I'll be fine." Astrid assured her, still fighting with tent polls. "It's the rest of Berk I'm worried about."

"Do you need some help with that? I mean I've only been camping a few times and I think I remember how to put one together," Emma smiled as she proceeded to assist Astrid. "Well we can try and get you back to Berk but it won't be an easy task, the only person or make that people who know how aren't exactly trustworthy." She sighed as she continued to work on the tent.

"Faro," Jay repeated.  "Well, nice to meet you again, Faro.  Back home, I was called Jack Frost."

Unlocking the door and letting in his two friends, he gave a sly chuckle to Loki.  "You'd be amazed what I might convince you to do.  Well, Faro, what can I do for you?"

Astrid was almost amazed at how much simpler the tent seemed to be for Emma. "Thanks." She said, a bit surprised to be getting so much help. Though she'd seen many frightened onlookers, so far anyone she'd spoken to didn't seem the least bit frightened by her or her dragon.

"Well then we know not to trust them... Doesn't mean we can't trick them." Astrid said deviously with a playful smile.

"It's not that easy, you see one of the persons is Rumpelstiltskin. You do not want to mess with him, he is dangerous and very powerful." Emma told her, "so please do not go looking for him. He will take Stormfly away from you, or he will send you somewhere in which you cannot return," Emma hoped that Astrid would heed her warning.

Loki walked to a chair and sat down, "well we will see about that." He smirked spinning around looking at all the pictures on the wall, he then looked at Faro. "My name is Loki it's nice to meet you."

"Never heard of him." Astrid admitted, having not heard many stories outside the Archipelagos. "But unless he's fire proof I'm sure he can be reasoned with." She added with a grin.

Taking a more serious tone she flopped down where she'd been sitting before. "Yeah, yeah, we won't go looking for him." She agreed while pulling her fish off the fire.

"Henry mentioned someone named Loki being here. If he is the same Loki known to my people, he is a god of mischief and chaos." Those blue eyes lifted from the fish in her hands to look at Emma. "It's possible he brought me here somehow."

"Well I'm not sure if he's the same one from Norse Myth but there is one in the book that Henry has, so the author of the book could have wrote a story based on those of legend so I really can't say." Emma responded, "all you have to do is ask him when you see him. Anyways I should get back into town, if you need anything just let me know."

Astrid gave a light nod to Emma as she left. "See ya." She said simply. Setting back against Stormfly she got comfortable, ready to eat and settle in for the night. With any luck tomorrow would see her back to Berk.

"A tattoo on my wrist. A watery design for a music note. With some water droplets coming off it as well." Faro describes. He doesn't have a picture to show, because his art skills are nonexistent, but Jay, Jack, tends to be able to work from descriptions quite well. He sits in the chair, not even slightly worried about the pain. By this point he's learnt that tattoos barely hurt, or he's grown used to the pain, one or the other.

Jay picked up a sketch book and a box of pencils, and began sketching a design based on Faro's description.  "Why don't you show Loki the other tattoo I've done for you," he said as he deftly applied lines of color.

Emma nodded and left the woods heading back to town and to the station, she still had some work to do and papers to file. Today was a strange day indeed though she half expected it living in a town filled with fairy tale creatures. When she arrived to her destination the first thing she did was make some fresh coffee, it was a many cups of coffee kind of day today.

Loki turned to Jay, "so after the Evil Queen cast a curse on you the first thing you did was open a tattoo parlour?" Loki asked, "how is business going anyways? I mean it's a small town and the residents here don't look like the inked type."

Faro smirks slightly as Jack suggests he shows his tattoo. He's wearing a T-shirt today so he reaches behind his neck, pulling it off in one smooth movement and dropping it on the floor. He turns to face Loki, showing the wave tattoo on his, fairly well toned, chest as well as a belly button piercing and a pair of nipple piercings. "Jack did these as well." Faro says, gesturing to all of his piercings, including the snakebites below his lips, "It's easy to get bored when you do the same thing over and over, I'm actually impressed I didn't end up with more."

Jay smirked and filled in Loki on how Her Royal Cleavageness rewrote everyone's lives with her curse, hoping to destroy everyone's happiness, only to be thwarted by Emma and Henry.

"Makes a marvelous model, doesn't he?" Jay said, eying Faro.

Loki eyes moved up and down Faro's body as it was a canvas, he barely heard what Jay said before he snapped back to reality. "Ah I see, well Asgardia wasn't affected by her curse though it has its magics too. Perhaps even stronger than the queens," Loki responded. "And yes he does, he's actually making me question my sexuailty." Loki chuckled.

"Well that's the goal isn't it?" Faro says with a laugh, "If I can't make at least one person question their sexuality then I'm not trying hard enough." He finishes. He glances at his shirt on the floor but doesn't make any move to pick it up or put it on. Who needs shirts anyway? They're strange and unnecessary pieces of clothing, and that opinion has only grown stronger since he regained his memories of being mer.

Jay chuckled and put his pencils down.  "I, for one, have no questions whatsoever," he said, waggling his eyebrows.  He held up the sketch for Faro's approval.  "Was this what you were looking for?"

"Well I'm a prince back home and can't very well go around shirtless I'm suppose to look prim and proper after all," Loki responded with a chuckle. "Though you may have convinced me to get something done, the matter of question is what."

"Yep that looks great." Faro says, moving so that Jack can actually do the tattoo. "What should we do after this then? Loki should definitely get something done and then I would say drinks but it's probably a bit early. Swimming? I will admit that's probably just an excuse to get you two shirtless but it could also be fun." Faro says, smiling. It's only been a few hours since he's been swimming but he's already itching to get back in the sea.

Jay slapped Faro on the head with his sketchbook.  "No swimming right after a tattoo, unless you want a nasty infection," he said.  He slipped on latex gloves and began prepping Faro.  "And Loki, I'm not going to pester you to let me work on you, but, you could get something done somewhere... discreet, where Papa won't see."

"I suppose that's true I could, do either of you have any recommendations as to what I should get done?" Loki asked, he was visiting a strange world he might as well have some fun and it's not like he was going home any time soon and so what if Odin found out what was he going to do? It's not like he could ground him he is a grown man after all.

"Is there no way I can cover it?" Faro says in a jokey whiney voice. "There's no way I can avoid swimming for whatever stupid amount of time you're probably going to tell me." And that's ignoring the fact there's no chance he can get an infection. He's mer, if anything the saltwater will keep it clean. He's just humouring Jack to keep him happy, if the man keeps complaining he'll just have to point out that he's perfectly safe. He's planning on telling him he's mer anyway, it's not something he's ashamed of. "And I don't know Loki. If you get a tattoo it depends what's important to you. That's why mine are water based. Piercings don't need as much thought. Just get anything. I'd advise a nose piercing or snakebites."

Loki flipped through a book of tattoos and piercings so he could get a visual of what he could get done, the cartilage piercing looks interesting and like it would hurt but he had a high tolerance for pain, "alright I am going to get something pierced because life is about adventure and taking risks right? I mean why not," he smiled closing up the book. "And maybe later I'll get a tattoo once I can come up with something that has meaning."

"Whatever you like," Jay said, firing up the needle and setting to work on Faro.  It didn't take too terribly long for him to finish and tape a bandage over the merman's new tattoo.

Cleaning up, he looked to Loki.  "Made your decision?  Going for an earring?  Or are you going to be very adventurous, indeed?" Jay asked, gesturing towards the Asgardian's lower portions.

Loki chuckled, "yeah just a piercing is all I'm going to go for at the moment. But I promise you when I decide to get something inked you will be the first person I come to then you will get to see what's underneath all of this," he grinned.

Faro stands up and smiles at Loki. "Are you getting your piercing done now or can we go do something?" Surprisingly, Faro manages to say this without coming across as rude. "And honestly Jack I'm probably going swimming no matter what you say, it just depends on if you're going to be fun and join me or not."
