Across the Tracks, Right?

(Sorry I'm back, I was moping the laat couple weeks @_@))

Quin didn't say anything for a while. She was really worried about him....he didn't want her to be upset because she brought him here. Very carefully he moved his hand to stroke her hair, then her face as he released a small sigh. "I'll get up early, when you're hreading that way I'll make my ways to the fence okay?" I mumbled, lookong her over.

"I'll wait for you as long as I can. Is that okay? I'll be fine so I want to ensure you'll be okay." He was a little out of it, so his tone came off as strange. Like worry mixed with insecurity. Today...he didn't like the sound of his own voice.

"Okay." Jamie whispered, gently pulling Quin onto the bed with her. She laid down slowly, smiling faintly at him. "I'll be okay. We can rest here for the night... Then I'll go to my father in the morning..." She decided quietly, resting her forehead against Quin's.

"Are you okay?" She asked him, stroking his hair with her hands.

"Yeah its just that this went downhill so fast." His face dropped into a frown. "I guess I'm a little put out is all. Its not your fault of course, not at all. I'm just being kind of pathetic. Ha, funny right? I need to be more cocky don't I? Does that put you at ease?" He laughed and you could like tell that he was tired since Quin was thinking of something very different.

"Make sure you come back. Promise? I'm saying this as I am but also from....being worried. What of he makes you stay there?" He was partially selfishly worried about himself, since she would be safe however he himself.... However, he also didn't want he to suddenly dissappear.

"Promise." Jamie said meekly, her arms wrapping around him slowly and kissing him lightly. "I won't do that to you. I'll come back." She whispered. She had an intensity to her expression. "I'll hurry back as soon as I can and I'll come to your house..."

She had an obvious trust and adoration in her expression, in spite of their strange situation.

Quin sighed before readjusting his grip on her, pulling her as close as he could before looking at her for a long moment. Slowly, he brushed back any hair from her face and leaned him. His lips brushing hers before he smiled. "I'm glad. You're the only one I trust this much." I mutter before finally kissing her. Running his hand through her hair as he gather the courage to deepen the kiss.

He really loved her. He decided. He felt bad for being selfish and wanting to keep her to himself however he couldn't help it. He was hopelessy infatuated with a girl that he should have never fallen for.

Jamie was shocked as he deepened the kiss, but responded a few seconds later with equal passion. She let herself be pulled close, and let Quin lead for the moment, she felt herself getting lost in the moment.

Hesitantly, she pulled away and looked at Quin. "You know how I said that kissing escalates sometimes? Is it about to...?"

Quin frowned, as usual a dumb expression crossing his face. When he realised what she meant is was like someone splqttered his face with red. "Is that what you want?" He asked hesitantly. Moving back a little as staring. He thought back to what his father said and deadpanned. Although this was a little different wasn't it.

Jamie looked at him with a curious expression. She shrugged, then nodded, then shrugged again. "I don't know. I think I do. But what if you decide you don't want me? Then I'm just a servant who slept with her master and I'll feel dirty forever..."

She didn't know what it was she wanted, except that she wanted Quin.

Quin wasn't sure how to take that. He sighed before pulling off his shirt. "You're stupid." He stated flatly, grabbing her hand and staring for a while again before blushing. "I mean.....I think you're being kind of mean for the person I've decided to love forever....it sounds childish....but I just can't help it. If anything Jamie....you've caught me much more effectively then anyone else."

He looked a bit nervous before he looked down and flushed. "I mean, um..." God he wasn't sure what else to say.

Jamie looked at him as he removed his shirt, watching him carefully. She lay back on the bed and looked up at him. "I'm stupid? What?" She asked, staring at him uncertainly. She looked upset, hurt and frustrated. "I'm not stupid."

She moved to get off the bed, but stayed in the edge of it.

He huffed and coughed slightly. "I mean....don't doubt me! I really do like you Jamie. I called you stupid because....I mean to have us....to you Jamie am I only your master?" He asked, feeling a little hurt himself. "Is that all, are you just forcing yourself to like me?" He asked, now feeling confused.

"Nevermind...I...I'm sorry...I don't know what I'm doing..." he stumbled with his words and turned around away from her, pulling a pillow under his head and sighing. "I don't want you saying stuff like that. If you'll feel dirty forever don't bother with me."

Jamie moved to the side of the bed he was on, leaning her head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't doubt you." She whispered. "Quin, I'm sorry. I... I like you too and I... I might love you. But I'm not sure so I don't want to tell you yet..."

I shifted. "I don't want it to only be servant and master. I never really liked that anyways. I just nod my head at everything everyone says and don't question them. I hate that. I don't want to be....'just this' with you Jamie."

He really didn't, if anything he wanted to be...all they could be. "If that stupid wall wasn't there maybe this wouldn't be so...so....hopeless. It wouldn't seem so hopeless."

Jamie nodded, laying back and pulling him with her gently. She kissed him slowly and pressed herself against him. "It won't be like that, then. It won't be like that." She smiled and kissed his nose. "Quin, if you want me to just be Jamie and you want to just be Quin, it can be. It can be like that."

She took a deep breath. "It'll be hard and complicated when we're at your house... But maybe.. Maybe we can do some good eventually."

"The you just be Jamie and I'll be Quin like you said and we won't make this complicated or painful...how's that, its that alright?" He repeated, not completely meeting her eyes because he was welled with so many upset and complicated feelings. He had not neccessarily invited them and was hoping they would shoo away eventually.

After a few moments he made up his mind. "If this...if everything goes well, I want to be with you Jamie and let's set everything right, okay?"

Jamie nodded slowly and moved closer to Quin, curling up with her back against his chest. "Okay." She agreed meekly, pulling his arms around her and sighing. "I'm sorry for freaking out. I'm sorry for over reacting."

"Its okay, it was sort of....I mean I wouldn't know what do do anyways so let's just not talk about it." He would not admit that she knew more things about him on that subject, since it only made him a little uncomfortable.

"The plan will be..." he breathed, his voice starting to grow quieter. "That I'll get up early and make a run for the gate, and when I'm safely on the other side, you talk to your father, then come back to me." He explained dizzily. She said she would come back so he would trust her.

Jamie nodded to acknowledge his words, then shifted her position so she was facing him properly. "Do you want some dinner?" she asked, "I can cook for you. I'd happily do that." She played with Quin's hair lightly. "I can make you pizza. Do you like pizza?" She wasn't trying to hide her affections for him anymore. It felt safe now that he had said he planned on being with her.

(This is really late, I'll be really busy the next month or so preparing for some personal stuff, I'll try to respond more often then i have been though!))

"Yeah, sure." Quin responded, his eyes moving around the room. It seemed more gloomy now to him. He had a bad feeling. It was like one of those gut feelings that could be right, but...usually weren't? Or the feeling that you just passed up some danger.

He was also relieved though, she didn't seem so tight, and he wanted to stick with her. They had made an agreement. She loved him right? He was pretty sure he loved her too. That made that horrible gut wrenching feeling fade.

((Who should we go after first? I've been trying to figure this out but I'll need your input before I ruin anything xD ))

((I know, I deeply apologise and it wasn't very professional of me, if you want to drop the roleplay you have every right to. I got busy very suddenly and was irresponsible because I didn't inform anyone. So do what you feel comfortable with.))

(It's fine - just, please don't disappear again for a long time without telling me, please.)

Jamie looked across the bed at him curiously, her body matching the curve of his. She was tired and it showed in the way she watched his eyes. "I'm sorry." she whispered. "I didn't mean to freak out earlier, Quin. I was just scared. I still am. Can you... can you forgive me?" she asked meekly, her forehead resting against his and her eyes searching his form some form of affection.

((Alright, I'll be sure to do that, its a bad habit I have, so I apologise for leavong you in the dark for so long))

Quin blinked, he had been too busy watching her move about the room. So he hadn't really been thinking about anything. "I already have...don't worry...of the two of us.." he swallowed and closed his eyes. "I think I'm the one who needs to apologise. I'm a bit of coward you know...so I was a little scared myself." He mumbled, playing with his hands before sitting up slowly.

"So um...I've never had pizza before..." he tried, hoping that this wouldn't turn to a heavy subject. For the rest of tonight, he just wanted to savor the feeling that he knew she liked him for him, and that he would love her for her.

Jamie raised an eyebrow and sat up in the bed, "Never had pizza?" she smirked at him, taking his hand. "Come on. We're going to go make pizza." she told him, pulling him into the kitchen. She retrieved ingredients, placing the base on a tray on the counter and pulling out vegetables, bacon and cheese. "Ever cooked before, babe?" she asked casually.

Quin flushed, feeling suddenly like a fool. Partially for never cooking a lick in his lofe and partially for being called babe. "No...I've watched others do it but I've never had to do it for myself." He responded shyly, unsure how else to put it. He looked doubtfully amoung the ingrediants and shook his head. He was even sure what they were doing. It looked like a lot of cheese and flour...uhh

He could only look at her blankly since she was the one draggong him into this.
