Yep, this part is mainly for the initial investigation of the detectives and prosecution. The attorneys are just off doing their own daily activities right now.

To a degree. Some may be a little bent or ignored, given that this is more fitted to the Ace Attorney universe. Everything has explanation that can be found though, and in general it follows The Decalogue.
