Fantasy Academy De Feast (Reboot)

@Federoff

"And, umm... s-sorry if I am bothering you again, Ms. Lizzy," the little merboy opens up to the elf with twiddling fingers that form a slurry of snow between them, "but I would also be interested in knowing where you hail from." As the nature spirit engages in small talk, his smile is approachable, and his elfin ears are held upright.

"You appear to be a traveling type judging from your clothing; I am not too familiar with fashion," placing a hand over his bare chest to make that clear, "but your jacket looks very appealing." Fan's words are honest and upbeat. "Have you been to any interesting places lately?"

Lizzy blinked, the fire disappeared as she turned her attention back to Fan, her blue eyes turning back to their normal shade as she blinked once more. "Thank you, though its most likely a where then a when" stated Lizzy in response to the boys' question, an honest and fair answer at that. "I hail from Ignis, the town located near the Tower of Infinity" explained Lizzy, though she did not add that it had been gone for thousands of years; the city had since then disappeared from history itself.

Cordelia was intrigued..an actual demi-god..and here she was just being a knockoff for people who needed something to believe in.

"Thats..amazing actually. We heard stories of Ra though we did not worship him but found his stories of bringing light to the world beautiful. You are very lucky"

She stopped smiling when he got closer to her. She gave him a serious look and leaned back, his eyes were level with her nose at full height so it wasnt to hard to look at her fangs. She blushed a moment then looked away.

"Um..thank you. But they arent anything special..in fact I dont like them very much"

@Federoff

"The 『Tower of Infinity』..." Fan tilts his head to the left, then to the right, and blinks hard with his azure eyes. "I have heard of such a structure; my parents had mentioned that it is somewhat similar to a place called the 『Tower of Salvation』," he relates with an acknowledging nod and perked-up, watery ears.

"I have never heard of a town or a city known as 『Ignis』, however." The nature spirit frowns as though he has displeased the elf girl with his lack of knowledge. "I could try to learn more about it with a sympathetic scrying window like one of these," gesturing with a fog-shrouded hand to the water-borded "screens" depicting majestic vistas, "possibly combined with postcognitive spells to peer into the past if necessary. Would you like for me to do such, Ms. Lizzy?" the piscean child politely offers with an amicable smile.

"You should really stop that, they are apart of your amazing self" replied Alex, still smiling as he leaned away; Alex was not one that liked people talking down on themselves nor others, it just didn't seem right to him at all. "You only got one life to live, might as well live it to the fullest!" chuckled Alex as he satisfied himself with his statement, it was his philosophy on how to tackle life head on.

Lizzy was silent, politely listening to Fan before blinking and clearing her throat.
"If you wish, It makes no difference to me. The past is the past and it should remain that way" replied the red-haired girl, once more satisfied with her answer. A simple one that was open to interpretation of each persons' thoughts. Lizzy quietly moved her hands to the scarf around her neck and removed it, revealing a gold chain with one of those ovals in the middle, holding a portrait; though it was close so it was just an oval. She put her scarf in her bag, it was getting a little hot and so she made herself a little bit more comfy.

@Federoff

"W-Well... if it is okay with you, Ms. Lizzy..." The nature spirit closes his eyes, and the phantasmal, one-centimeter-wide orb around him limns itself in cool-colored refulgence.

Moments later, another series of water-bordered scrying portals appear in the air; each one depicts 『Ignis』 as it is now, a thousand years ago, two thousand, three thousand, and so on. Fan opens his azure eyes, and they grow with curiosity as he examines the city throughout its history, panning and zooming in and out via the spatio-temporal scrying sensor. His piscean tail and elfin ears quiver with excitement all the while.

"O-Oh, and if you are feeling too warm now," Fan offers to the elf in a pleading, awkward tone, "I can cool the water vapor in the air around you, if you would like, Ms. Lizzy," plainly coming off as very eager to please.

Cordelia was able to breathe again once he leaned away, gathering her composure once more. She sighed and looked away.

"Its alright for someone to dislike something about themselves. Not everyone can be as happy as you"

She tucked some hair behind her ear and put her hand on her hip.

"Its true you only live once..but right now I dont feel like im truly living..I cant go out like you can. I couldnt stop my lust for blood and ended up getting two of my own people killed. I do not feel..like I am able to live life to the fullest, especially since I had to grow up to take of my people in the village.."

@Federoff

Lizzy thought about his offer for a few moments but that might get her wet and Lizzy was not a fan of getting wet. Still she felt somewhat bad about denying the boy when obviously he was out to please others. She mentally sighed before responding to the boy, "Will it get me wet?" simply asked Lizzy, her not wanting to risk getting everything wet, especially her necklace; it was one of her only possessions she prized.

Alex thought about Cordelias' response, it was a sad tail indeed; but that fact did not break Alexs' determination in the least bit at all. "Well now you can start a new with all the new friends you will make, including me" replied Alex, toning himself down a notch, proof he was taken the conversation seriously. Then again, why wouldn't he? Although Alex doesn't show it, he took everything seriously on the inside.

@Federoff

"N-Not if I do it right, Ms. Lizzy! You will not get wet at all!" Fan declares with a mist-shrouded hand over his heart.

"With my manipulation of water, I can control the properties of the water vapor in the air with precision, hold any actual liquid contact at bay from you with a few twists of space, and fine-tune the timing of the process too!" the nature spirit eagerly explains with elfin ears perked-up.

"L-Let me give it a try..." The little merboy closes his eyes once more. The ghostly, minute orb around him flickers with pale blue light. The air around Lizzy cools towards a pleasing temperature. Not a single bit of water forms upon the elf or any of her belongings, and yet the air does not feel dry at all, as though a small paradox in nature.

"There!" the piscean kid happily announces. "How did I do, Ms. Lizzy...?" he eagerly asks with an expectant, hopeful smile and puppy dog eyes.

Lizzy blinked as it cooled, the boy actually did it. The cooler air was more comforting and definitely welcomed more then the heat, and so replied with a nod of her head and a small smile. "You did great, thank you. Although even at this temperature of the air, it is still considered hot from my home" replied the girl, giving the boy a thumbs up; not sure why she revealed that last part, but she did so anyways, so there was no point in wondering why.

@Federoff

The nature spirit's expression takes on a much more upbeat light; his eyes are bright and his smile is content. "You are welcome, Ms. Lizzy! I am always happy to be of service," Fan goes as his elfin ears happily wiggle.

"If you would like," the nature spirit offers with both hands over his heart, "I can imbue for you a cooling charm that will make the air in a small space around you perpetually at a comfortable temperature and humidity, adjustable with but a thought.

"The charm's physical focus can be something I can provide via apportation," suddenly showing a small brooch in the palm of his hand, "or I can enchant one of your own belongings, Ms. Lizzy," widening his smile just a bit.

"Would you like such a charm, miss?" goes the nature spirit in a sweet and kindly telepathic voice.

Lizzy thought about the question for a while, unsure if she should divulge herself into his offer or to go her normal route and not accept it politely; though it was obvious that if she declined it would break the boys' self esteem and so she nodded. "Could you enchant my necklace?" asked Lizzy before bringing up her necklace for him to get a better look at it, the necklace not leaving her person though.

@Federoff

"That should be more than possible, Ms. Lizzy!" Fan happily announces as his smile grows a bit wider, and his pale cheeks go flush with excitement.

The piscean boy closes his eyes while his fishy tail goes still. The spectral, one-centimeter orb that normally hovers near the merboy instead drifts over to the elf's necklace, whereupon it emits a soft light in shades of ocean blue, glacial green, and snow white. Instants later, Lizzy can feel even more of the space around her assume a 『pleasant temperature and humidity』.

"If you would like warmer or cooler or dryer or wetter air around you, simply think of such, and your 『newly enchanted locket』 will respond accordingly!" The nature spirit executes an aerial loop and follows up with a gracious bow.

"If you would like any of my other services, such as minor favors or imbuement with magic, you know how to send a request to me, alright?" He gestures with both fog-covered hands over to the 『vessel of water, timekeeping device, and space-measuring tool』 upon the desk of the "wolf-shifter."

(Last post for tonight, night)

Lilian smiled lightly and nodded in approval, she would not use it often but she would try to work it into her life when she would need the comfort; truth be told she should be getting herself use to the weather instead of bending it, well, that's how Lizzy viewed it. "Thank you" replied the red-haired girl as she brought her necklace back down before turning her attention to the front of the room; wondering if the teacher would even be coming today.

"You are much welcome, Ms. Lizzy!" the nature spirit exuberantly tells her. "It is every benevolent nature spirit's duty to help the people of ma-- umm," twiddling his thumbs again, "help people."

"To bring forth steam from flames, rain from the sky, and plants from the earth... that is the province of a spirit of water," Fan proclaims in a dutiful tone, eyes bright with conviction. "The ocean of space and the river of time are a little trickier... but helping people live with them is just as important!"

"So, umm," staring forward towards the blackboard, tilting his head a bit. "I suppose all of us are waiting for the English teacher, right, Ms. Lizzy?" The piscean child deliberately avoids looking towards the clock near the top of the room, as though trying not to get entranced from it; he has already had a good dose of clock-staring earlier in science class.

"English is not my native language; that would be the First Tongue of the spirits, although I hear that some werewolves speak it too," Fan relates while his ethereal orb clears away the scrying windows from earlier, then conjures up a few lupine images in magically created, cool mist. "What is your native language, Ms. Lizzy? Is it one of the elven tongues?" he telepathically queries in a curious tone.

"What of all of you?" the nature spirit extends the good-hearted question to Rosey, Elsa, Softwer, and anyone else who might be in the classroom at the time.

Orpheus enters the academy, more cheerful than usual, proven by the fact that he is hissing a lot more than usual. He stops and looks around him, disappointed by the fact that he probably won't be able to change into his true form here. @Queen of Fantasy

Orpheus stopped and looked around. 'Hmm... I'm sure I heard something...' He thinks, and changed into his true form with the size slightly altered by magic so that he could slither around with ease and still be large enough to scare away an elephant and hissed loudly. @Queen of Fantasy

Lizzy nodded her head in response to the boys' telepathic question, "Yes" she added into the response. Lizzy was never one for talking to much, today was probably the most she'd eve talked in a long long time. "My native tongue is the first language used and written down" explained Lizzy, hoping that would clarify her answer for the boy.

(I do indeed!)

Cordelia nodded and looked behind her to the classroom.

"I thank you for the reassurance Alex..I thank the stars that I met such a kind person my first day here. It wont be easy at first but I am sure I will be but a..shall we say..normal person here at this school in a matter of days"

She nodded, having to tell herself that everything would simply be back to normal for her soon. And when she got this damned blood lust sorted out then maybe..just maybe she could return home to her people. And this time she wouldnt strike fear into them.

Whistling, Crux stepped through the doors of the academy and looked around. The first thing that he saw was a giant snake.

"This day just keeps getting better and better," he said aloud, walking up to the large snake. Once he got close enough, Crux poked the snake to get its attention.
