Realistic or Modern Abandoned

Valorie sighed, sniffling again. "It's ok." She mumbled, sitting up just a bit. "I just, I don't want thing to turn out like they have before." She said, rubbing her eyes. "It just brings back bad memories. I am not sure I will ever be able to love again." she said, squishing her body into the bed again, not wanting to upset him any more.

"Hmmm..." Veno thought out loud. "How about we play a game?" he asked, crouching down to meet Gaia. "What kind of game would you like to play?" Surely with all these toys, there would be SOMETHING to play. He thought about how different Gaia's room looked from his. "This is my first time in someone's room." he announced. Veno's room was black and white, while Gaia's room was bursting with color. Maybe he could redesign once in a while. Or not.

Zack sat down again, feeling a little bit better. "R-Really?" He asked, wondering if 'them' could actually be a thing. He mumbled, not wanting to sound desperate, "I would never do anything like that to you..." Zack looked in her eyes again, "If you don't mind me asking, Who was the person who broke you heart?" He asked and quickly said, "You don't have to tell me..."

Valorie sighed. "Well, it was my father." she choked out, feeling as if her scar was burning into her back like a tattoo. She reached her cold hand back to her lower back, her fingers resting over the scars gently. She sighed and closed her eyes, the cold skin rapidly calming down the burning sensation as she returned her hand to it's position on the sheets.

Zack went behind her and lifted up her t-shirt, only enough so he saw the scar. He didn't ask questions, because he has thousands of scars just like this on his own body. He walked out of the room and moments later he came back with one of Anna's face cloths, drenched in water. He whispered, "This might sting..." He warned and gently covered the scar with the cloth. "Did he do this to you?"He asked, not entirely caring.

Valorie flinched the tiniest bit as the cold water was placed on her back, hissing under her breath. "Yeah....." She mumbled, her eyes tearful and full of sorrow. She wished that she had been born into a different life, that she didn't have to box herself of or feel afraid to let someone in. She had done that once, willing to accept her father again, but that had ended just as badly as it started.

Gaia thought about it for a moment pacing his room. His eyebrows were scrunched together and his lips formed a pout as he tried to think of what he wanted to do. When a idea came to mind he stopped and turned to veno with a smile and a impish twinkle in his eyes. "Everyone here is so hurt, sad, or worried. They lost all their nice cheerful colors and need to have some fun. I know the perfect way they can do that but we need some things first. We need lots of paint, balloons and walkie talkies. We also need Anna, Lucy, Kali, Liz, Jeremy and the headmaster."

Gaia fetched a piece of paper and a crayon to write all they needed down. Outside Liz got up and began heading inside. She wondered briefly on the strange foreboding feelings she suddenly had but shrugged it off. Gaia was probably planning another prank. As long as it wasn't aimed at her she couldn't care less.

A tinge of anger fled into Zack. He didn't want anyone hurting Valorie. Zack put her t-shirt down and awkwardly hugged her from the behind.

"You don't have to be afraid...I also went through through this as well..." Zack mumbled and smiled to his self. "Everything will figure it's way out..." Zack let go of her and walked around so that he could face her.

"I'm hurt in no way, actually." said Veno. "I was doing... fine-ish until they picked me up, actually." He had very little to eat when he was living on his own, but at least he was eating. "What's your idea, though? Actually, I don't really care. Let's go pick them up." said Veno, beckoning Gaia to the door. Wait a second, nice cheerful colors? Does everyone have those? Veno questioned this to himself, as he stood in the doorway of Gaia's room. After he looked back, he still saw Gaia drawing. "Well? Are you coming or not?"

Valorie felt her tears disappear gradually, his hug inviting and warming. As soon as he let go, she felt a bit of longing inside her body, wishing she could turn around and hug him without it seeming weird. But soon he walked around to face her and she smiled slightly, the cold towel sticking to her back as she scooted a bit closer to him.

"So, Um, Whats going to happen with 'us'?" He emphasized, noticing that she moved closer. Zack had hope in his heart that maybe something good will happen today. Something he had wished in the past year. After this day, Zack knew he would be protective and jealous for any boy who talks to her.

Valorie sighed and closed her eyes for a moment. "I am not sure." She mumbled, opening her eyes again. "I will need to grow into the idea of us, and it may take a while, but I think it is worth giving a shot." she said, looking at him. She wanted to hug him, hold his hand, do something to make sure she wasn't going to lose him.

Ethan had been in his room for awhile, stuck thinking of old memories. He cleared his throat as he walked out. My, there was a lot going on it seemed. He didn't feel like getting in the way, he walked downstairs slowly. He decided he needed some air. Walking out the back door, to avoid more people, he sat on the steps. Gently pinching and twirling one of his chains in-between his fingers as he began to lose himself in thought.

"ETHAN!" her words were filled with terror. "Ethan get up!" Jay tugged at him violently, He stumbled to his feet, his vision blurred with blood. "Ethan, they are coming!" He quickly blinked away the grogginess. Glass splintered his back, arms, and stomach. Jay's eye were filled with tears as she supported him, and began to help him limp out of the alley way. "Grab the *****." A man yelled, Ethan's fingers fumbled over his gun, But it was to late. They ripped her away from him, "Let her go!" Ethan shouted, before they Slammed a Baseball bat into Ethan's side. He fell aside, and watched, dazed as Jay struggled against them. Pain coursing through him, making his body tremble and useless. His vision was blacking when he saw the glint of metal, Her blood-chilling scream, the hot blood, and the flashing lights.

"Yep." Gaia chirped running over. He stuffed the paper and crayon in his pocket before grabbing Venos hand and began dragging him out of his room." We need to get the headmasters say so first cause he knows where all the paint is and still has my walkie talkies from my last prank. Then we need to get the others."

Liz grabbed an apple from the kitchen and headed upstairs in search of Gaia. She soon found him with Venoand was grabbed along for the ride.

Zack smiled excitedly. He reached out to hold her hand, since it looked like she wanted comforting. "I promise I wont leave you, I mean where else should I go..." He said, looking out of the window onto the busy streets. Zack moved his head closer to hers, but pulled back not sure if she was ready yet. "Are you hungry? He asked loving the idea of them being something.

Valorie nodded. "I am kind of hungry." she mumbled, her eyes still a bit red and puffy from crying. Her cheeks where tinged a bit pink and she was a bit nervous, but she liked the feeling of his hand in hers. She didn't want to seem needy though, even though she trusted him the most out of everyone in the house.

Zack helped her up. He opened the door for her and they both walked out, still holding hands. Zack walked downstairs and asked Val, "Do you want some sugar pancakes, Stew got me some but we can share?" Zack shrugged, confidently showing to everyone that Valorie and him was a 'thing'. He knew that it had just started, so when they went down the stairs, Zack squeezed her hand and broke apart.

Valorie smiled and walked down with him, standing a slight bit closer to him than she normally did. "Hmm, sugar sounds good." She said, forgetting about her tea upstairs. It was probably cold, but she wasn't thinking about it to much. "I wouldn't mind, though not sure that some of the other guy's would like it much." She joked.

Zack laughed a little to Valorie's joke, but wasn't to sure if he should be jealous or angry. 'Does that mean that guys like her...,' He thought. He went into the kitchen and nodded his head to Stewart. Zack grabbed the sugar pancakes and walked over to the couch, gesturing for Valorie to do the same.

Valorie smiled at him and sat down next to him on the couch. She leaned back and shut her eyes lightly, taking a few deep breaths. This was all so new to her, love. She was aware that their where probably other's that liked her like Zach did in the house, but she wasn't sure who exactly did like her like that.
