Realistic or Modern Abandoned

Tim ate his pancakes in silence listening to the conversations around him, chuckling when he watched Valorie say to Ethan about the cigarette. To be honest if she hadn't said anything about it he probably would have. He couldn't stand smoking and found it a disgusting habit. He slid his plate forward as he finished eating and he stood slowly, finishing his glass of juice. "I'm gonna go have a swim." He said as he went up starting putting on swimming trunks and then coming back down with his towel slung over his shoulder and he went out side. He set his towel down on a chair before diving into the water and beginning to swim a few lengths.

Kali listened to Zack scream in the living room at the TV she jumped a little out of her seat when she heard him stomp off. Shrugging she put her dishes into the sink. Not many people were talking around the table so she walked off to her room upstairs but stopped when she walked by Zacks room. She knocked as she heard him throwing his furniture around, worried she knocked again. "Zack, are you okay?" She put her ear to the door to listen to what he was doing.

Zack heard Kali at the door. After he had thrown his furniture around, he had gotten the knife and cut his wrist. It was deeper than he had meant it to be and blood started pouring out, dripping on the floor. Zack breathed heavily as he realized he needed help. He couldn't contain the blood and clean it up with only 1 hand. He didn't open the door, but he spoke gently. "Um...K-Kali? I need your help..." He felt ashamed and embarrassed as he opened the door.

Kali stepped back as the door opened when she saw his wrist bleeding she knew he had cut himself. "Umm, okay!" She smiled not wanting him to think she thought he was crazy for what he did even though he was. Only because she never has met someone who would just cut themselves over being mad. "Hold on" She ran down the hall to the hall closet getting the first aid kit and running back. She grabbed his hand pulling him back into the room shutting the door not wanting anybody to see what he had just did. She helped him clean it up. "What happened?" She asked while putting rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab and damping the area.

Zack smiled back at her, still ashamed and embarrassed. He thought that Kali would be disgusted of what he had don, but instead she seemed to accept. Probably not in her mind, but she showed that she didn't care. "W-Well...Just memories really..." Zack winced as the alcohol smothered the cut, but since he had done this thousands of time, he got used to it. He didn't like telling any one about the full story, but one day everyone will know. But still, he never told anyone.

"I understand" She nodded smiling bandaging his cut up then capped the alcohol bottle and placed it back in the kit. "There all is okay" She placed a kiss on his cut then looked around his room. "You were very upset I can see" She giggled pointing at all his thrown around things. "Want help cleaning up?" She looked up at him smiling. "I don't have nowhere to be really, and sitting in my room getting old won't be very much fun" She joked around hoping it would make him laugh.

"Yeah, That would be lots of help..." He smiled, taking no interest in her joke. Zack stood up, walking over to the fallen over cupboard. He lifted it up, and putting all of his clothes back inside. He looked over at Kali and smiled, "Thank again, If I need you again I'll call..." He paused, "but I'' try not to do it again.

She helped him pick up his things and put them back where they belonged. Smiling she nodded leaving the room. "Lets hope so" She closed his door on the way out and made her way back to her room where she packed up her camera and got dressed for the day. She was going to go out and take photos to frame later for her room.

Zack went down the stairs, welcomed by the silence again. That was when he realized that his bandage on his wrist was a little bit bloody. He looked at the floor and mumbled, "S-Sorry...," He looked for Anna and gestured for her to come to him. Anna was extremely scared. She had never seen Zack like this, ever. She looked right in his eyes and hugged him. "I'm sorry, Zackie..." She mumbled, squeezing him whilst Zack ruffled her dirty blonde hair. "I promise I wont do it again..." Zack replied. Anna always knew that Zack cut, but she never did it. "I promise too..." Anna said, and looked up to his eyes. Everyone was watching them. She took his hand and pulled her to the couch were Valorie and Jeremy was. Anna pointed to the seat next to Valorie, for Zack to sit there. He obeyed and sat there awkwardly.
(Bump?)

Veno was prepared. Hunched over, ready to catch the ball, he determinedly grinned as Gaia came rushing to him. "You're pretty fast..." he said, crouching down even more. This way, if they kicked up, Veno could spring up and catch the ball. And if they kicked low, he could catch the ball with his feet, or, in an emergency, his hands. Gaia was pretty close to him now, and Veno felt his blood pumping with excitement. He always liked soccer. It made him feel... Alive. As he usually was, he was mostly bored, and taking naps everywhere, but playing soccer, he felt awake.

Gaia saw him crouching down more and grinned a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. He honestly didn't know if this would work but it would be fun to try. As he got closer he sped up. Five feet away he turned acted like he was going left, went right instead then kicked the ball towards the net. Stopping he watched with bated breath and twitchy hands to see what would happen.

Veno knew this strategy. It was a basic fake-out. He grinned as he caught the ball. Apparently the ball was kicked with enough force to make his hands go to the net, or maybe he didn't have strong hands. Either way, he caught it. "That's a basic fake-out. Most soccer players know it already. Try again." said Veno, throwing the ball back to Gaia.

Gaia caught the ball pouting. He had really hoped it would of worked. After a second he shrugged it off after all there's no use crying over spilled milk. He turned and began walking back to his original spot a new already forming in his mind. It was time to use his secret move.

He put the ball down got in front of it facing Veno got in position then was off. Again he kept the ball close but this time as he got closer he did something different. He steps with his kicking leg from left to right around the ball. His kicking foot landed on the outside of the soccer ball. He then takes his standing foot and pushes the soccer ball in the opposite direction and watched it go fly with anticipation.

If this didn't work he didn't know what would.

(I have no idea what Gaia just did. And I have no idea if that was an actual soccer maneuver xD Or if it flew away from the net, or inside it.)

Veno observed the boy's odd maneuver. What was he planning to do? He stood up, breaking his position. The unexpected calls for the unexpected. Veno decided he would just observe this time. Veno watched as the ball was caught in the net. "What was that?" asked Veno with a curious look on his face.

Gaia cheered when he saw the ball go past Veno and into the net. It worked! He quieted after a moment of shaking his booty in his victory dance to contemplate how to best explain what the move was. He soon realized how he could explain it.

"'I don't know!" Gaia smiled brightly shrugging. "I saw it on TV last week. I think it was called the single scissors soccer move or something like that. It looked fun so I decided to give it a try."

Valorie heard some sort of commotion, but someone had it solved, and quite frankly she was not in the mood to solve it. She walked over to the kitchen and picked up the pancakes and tea, sitting back down with the little munchin still on her lap. She smiled and took a sip, the warmth warming her body. She smiled, her voice healing a little bit.

(*Sigh* Sleep deprived authors do not make great first morning posts)

Valorie took a look at Zach, noticing is wrist bleeding. She raised an eyebrow. "You ok?" She asked, taking another sip. She didn't like blood, and she could feel herself going a little pale. She tried to keep her hands from shaking as she set down her glass and placed her hands in her lap, pretending that she was ok.

Veno smiled, and said "Never knew. Huh, guess I don't really watch TV anymore..." He came upon the realization that he hadn't seen a TV in ages. "Can I see your TV?" asked Veno. He was really curious on what was on TV now that he thought about it. He began to imagine what would be on now. The last time he checked... No, he couldn't remember the last time he checked. He had a lost look in his eyes, as he always did when he daydreamed.

(Lines not sentences. That is not three lines of writing. Do some descriptive things. Exaggerate things. That is 2 unless you are on a mobile device)

Jeremy waddled down to Stew again, getting his pancakes. When he went back, he saw Zach and Anna sitting beside them. Finding it hard to carry his food with his toy in hand, he put it down for awhile. "I'll be back." He said to it, retrieving his plate and looking up at Val. "Up up." He said, unable to get up while holding the plate in his hands.

(*double bang with a gasp* four lines, actually. I'm on a laptop and I could see 3 lines even before I edited it.)
