Nation Building A World of Blood and Steel (WIP)

They aren't literal easterlings. (Nor or the Haradrim. :P )
I'm just seeing major diminishing value to my troops, I made the CS so my soldiers were slightly below average. But reading the standing armies, and army sizes of other nations means without the oliphaunts it looks like my army would be rolled over effortlessly due to the militarized-state of the other nations, and the clear overall equipment and training advantage.

Of course, the desert and guerilla-units makes defending the desert very effective, no arguments there. xD
Its up to you if you want to make your troops a little stronger.

I am not intending this to be purely a war simulator I am hoping for intrigue, diplomacy and some shady stuff

Yeah, actually. Seeing these three responses makes me think. "Who cares if I'm weak?!" I have my trump card oliphaunts, what I lack everywhere else can be made up with smart diplomacy, and careful-alliance-building. Actually, I find this RP more fun as a prospect now.

Same here! And we'll especially stand a chance together than alone. *hint hint*

The capital's right on the edge of the waterline, towards the bottom of the state. Copenhagen is towards the little indentation/intrusion nearby the tannish state.

Boros is in the mainland, in the dense forest sorta area.

Cessiltan is in the plains, nearby the water.

Jhort is in the not so dense forests, nearby the mountains.

I do hope we Colustinians can trade you guys for iron. And iron. Iron? Iron.

Weapons are okay too I guess.

You'll need to make smart alliances and lets be honest invading the desert wont go well. You should make something similar to the hashshashin

Who invades deserts without getting their asses kicked?

No seriously, let's be real here. The crusades went into the desert and got fucked. They were only trying to push the muslims outta their land.

I bloody love the Hashshahshin CK2 event... Unless I'm the Umayyads, then I'm like, "FUUU".

Those guys had fuckawesome archers. They would lay on their backs, and load and fire their bows using their feet to hold the bows, and hands (Like a normal person) to hold the arrow and string. You don't fuck with that sorta volley.

Or is it another muslim force? The Umayyads had archers on horses however. Those were also really good.

Just a quick look at the Umayyads, there's actually a wargame about the crusades. It's looks pretty cool. Anyone here play any wargames? I do warhammer.

Damn it! RIGHT!?!

God damn, Horse Archers in CK2. The Seljuks and Mongols ruined my pretty Arabian Empire sooo many times! I had 60k levies with my Persian/Indian Empire and the Mongols just lol noped my whole nation into oblivion. And what the actual frick is with the Ottoman/France super soldiers in EU4?! If I have 30k men against 15k with an equal general I expect to win damn it! But Kebab has Master Chief or some magic like that in his army, I swear!

Don't get me started on those bloody ERE/WRE. I go in Europe, Hre slaps me. I go into the Middle East, ERE slaps me. NOT fair.

Every Rome 2 Game: Play non-Roman faction. Stomp. Meet Romans. Get Stomped.

I've never played a Tabletop Wargame, just nothing like that in my area. :( Although the games me and lcom are referring to are online wargames. And considerably more advanced than the Civ series. :D

When exactly are we starting? Fuck horse archers, unless you have a light cav to kill them you are just gonna get skirmed to death.

Eh... Only ever heard of Civ.

But, you gotta love it when you just have a warrior ball of 40-80 guys churning hundreds of attacks.

Mind you, the average person has 1 hp in Warhammer.

"Lololol, can't hit me can you?"

Makes me somewhat happier I have horse archers haha. Albeit, they aren't anywhere near the level of Mongol or even Nomadic horse archers, but it's something to be proud of!Damn nomadic tribes and their damn horse archers.... *grumble grumble*
