Amara had wondered where everyone had went off to when they left her alone with Lord Cadis. It was a rather quiet moment when she had nothing to say to the lord of all vampires. She simply excused herself from him, and made way towards the door of the grand ball where the doors opened towards her. She looked down the hallways for any signs of Vasilisa, Cane, Dia and Oliver but they were nowhere to be seen by her. Amara walked out and began heading down the dark hallways that had a chandler that gave off a bit of light, as well as the big windows that let the light of the moon shine in.

Anne struggled to get through to the man's mind. She could feel that he had a mind block up for her type of powers, and it seemed to be a powerful one. She knew she wouldn't be able to keep the effort up much longer, as this power took a large amount of energy to sustain, but she needed to keep going for as long as she could. If the group weren't careful a fight would break out, and that could anger Lord Cadis. She shuddered at the thought. He seemed nice, but she had a feeling he could take all of these vampires out with a swipe of his arm.

"I'm a really good judge of character," Cane replied coldly. He really didn't want to fight, but this man was seriously underestimating him and he hated it. He took a calming, deep breath

@Aio

"Just move out of my way. I wish no harm just a nice chat between me and my fiance." His smile was cold and sharp, though it twitched at the corners. He was growing tired of this girl trying to influence him, though his pushing back was starting to take a toll on him.

Vasilisa stared Oliver down. She didn't like fighting with him, they haven't fought in years but they both knew who the strongest one was. She knew what she had to going over to her bed she sat down quietly. "If I can't go out I'll use my power." Oliver frowned at her comment and sighed. "If it gives you peace of mind then fine use it but do not under any circumstances insert yourself if they begin to fight." Vasilisa rarely lied but this time she decided it was okay for her to do so. "Okay fine."

Cane focuses the air around his feet and hands. "Vasilisa doesn't want to talk anymore tonight. She has retired to bed, so please," Cane motioned down the hall, "leave." He sensed Vasilisa through the door and hoped she didn't do anything crazy.

@Aio

Anne slid to the floor, pale as she reached the end of her strength. However, just before she collapsed, she sent out a wave of power much stronger than she had before, hoping that this, at least, would get through to him. She then forced herself to her feet, stumbling to her room.

Ciro opened his mouth to speak but as the girl pushed more in his head he bent his head back letting a disgruntled breath escape his lips. He would stay there for a few moments trying to build back his mental wall as fast as he could before all the girls power went through him. Looking back at Cane with his jaw clenched slightly. "Just let me talk to her. She can even come out here and you listen." His words sounded forced almost as if it was painful for him to speak, a battle between him and the girl raging in his head.

Anne took a sip of the blood she had stored in her bag, before pushing back into his mind, hoping to catch him unawares. She was pale, yet flushed with the effort. Her eyes were completely shut. She needed to be the one to win this battle. Her eyes suddenly flew open. She had thought of something. Still pushing into the man's mind, she flew down the stairs, trying to find Lord Cadis before a fight broke out. She noticed the imposing vampire standing calmly, and, giving up on manners, ran up to him.

Cane didn't like the idea, but at the same time he didn't want to kill anyone or ruin the hosts party. "Fine, but only if Vasilisa wants too." Canes power stays on, awaiting a quick order to unleash itself.

@Aio

Vasilisa herd her name and pushed past Oliver as she unlocked the door coming close to bumping into Canes back in her rush. Oliver tried to stop her but failed, stepping out behind her as he held the dagger behind his back. He tried to cover her with his jacket but she shook it off, standing in her pajamas and robe with her hair pinned to her head. Standing slightly behind Cane.

Ciro gave Vasilisa a soft smile, though his eyes were still cold. " Vasi." He went to touch her but she pulled away as she looked at him. "Only my brother is allowed to call me that." She spoke her voice barely above a whisper. Ciro frowned not because of her words but because of the girl trying to push her way through his head. "I'm sorry. I wanted to apologize for how I acted earlier it was a show of bad character." Every words that pasted his lips were lies though only slightly. He was sorry about throwing her to the ground but not for his words, finding them to be true.

@Hartley @FictionalReality

Cane stood in between them and let them talk in silence. He tensed at his words of apology, feeling the lie drip off every sentence. His anger was like a tidal wave and it took all his control to not rip the man's heart out of his chest. He stood silently, brooding in his head while he watched the exchange of words.

@Aio

Vasilisa ate every word up, she truly believed he meant well. Her soft smile returning to her face as she wrapped her robe around herself tightly. She still felt as though she could not fully trust him so she nodded to his response, turning to whisper in Oliver's ear that she was ready to retire. With a nod he opened the door and stood out of her way to let her through.

Ciro frowned not liking her response as he went to reach for her arm, missing her slightly which caused him to falter slightly, scrambling to regain his balance. This fight with the girl had taken its toll on him, both physically and mentally.

@Hartley @FictionalReality

Cane quickly grabbed the man's arm when he reached for her. "Dont." He didn't waver, standing between him and the door.

@Aio

Ciro stared Cane down before removing his arms from his grip as he growled. "Your only temporary. I am forever." Ciro walked away, though slowly as he went to his room down the hall. He glared at Cane one last time before he slipped away inside his room.

Vasilisa was escorted to her bed by Oliver though she did not lay down. Instead she lauded Oliver down, grabbing the dagger away from him, placing it down on the inn table. As soon as he was down Oliver was out, snoring up a storm which made Vasilisa smile. She smoothed his hair out of his face before kissing him lightly on the forehead. She quietly walked out of her room, as she heard Ciro walked away. She hoped she could catch Cane to thank him.

@Hartley

Cane still stood next to the door when Vasilisa poked her head out. "Oh. Lady Vasilisa, are you alright?" His face took on a concerned look as he glanced back down the hall to Ciros door

Vasilisa looked up and smiled softly as she nodded. "Yes. Thank you. That situation could have gone much worse if you weren't here." She would lean against the door frame, looking over at the sleeping Oliver and smiled, giggling softly as he snores.

@Hartley

"That man is a terrible liar, you know. I could tell he was just trying to convince you of false things." Cane leaned against the wall, wondering how long he should stand here.

Vaslisa shook her head and sighed. " I know it's just I guess I'm still hoping that one day he will really mean the kind things he says to me." She smiled slightly, never fully looking him in the eye. She knew what she said was never going to happen but there was always hope.

@Hartley

He smiled and looked her in the eye. "There are always better people for you out there." He hoped she caught his hint and take at flirting. He really liked who she was and respected how she acted. He leaned against the wall and glanced at her

Amara began walking down the hall trying to look for a bathroom and she saw the first door to her right and she turned the knob hoping it was a bathroom but it was the room of Vasilisa and she saw that Cane was in there was well. "Oh, pardon me. I didn't mean to intrude, I was looking for the bathroom." She told them as she apologized not meaning to do what she did on purpose. She quickly shut the door as if she didn't see anything and began walking away from the door on search of the bathroom. "Doesn't Cadis have a bathroom around here?" She muttered to herself, "So many rooms in this castle," Amara muttered to herself again.

Vasilisa smiled slightly, a small blush appearing on her cheeks before turning to see Amara her smile widening. "Oh Amara it's fine. Though Oliver is asleep, today's been rough for him." She laughed slightly as she gestured towards the lump under the bed, the soft rise and fall of the sheets going with his breaths.

"Oh, but you and Cane were having a conversation and I wouldn't want to interrupt that." SHe told Vasilisa as she turned around to face her in the hallway.

@Hartley @Aio

Cane nodded and smiled back at her, waving at Amara as she stopped by real quick and left. "I should let you retire Lady Vasilisa. Get some rest, and I shall see you tomorrow night."

@Aio

Vasilisa nodded as she waved to both Amara and Cane, walking back to her room and closed the door quietly. Walking over to the bed she picked up a quilt from the bed and went over to a chair in the corner as she sat down. Placing it over her she fell into a deep sleep.
