Ciro poked his head out of his room, noticing that Cane was now gone. Slipping out into the hall he walked down the hall to Vasilisa's room. He knocked on her door softly, not to wake her if she was already asleep.

Vasilisa stood up from her chair, throwing the quilt off of her as she walked quickly over to the door. Opening it she expected it to be Cane or Amara, coming face to face with Ciro her eyes grew wide as a hand clamped over her mouth.

Ciro smiled slightly at her startled eyes as he leaned in close to whisper in her ear. "If you so dare think to cross me again I will use Oliver as my own personal blood bank." He growled, whispering more details in on what he would do. When he saw the butlers walk down the hall he smiled and kissed the now frozen Vasilisa's cheek before he left her in the door way.

"I just.....didn't want to be alone. It's been a long time since I've been around people." Cane looked back at Amara and took in her beauty he hadn't recognized earlier.

"I should be saying what your saying to me right now, since I know nobody here and half of the people here probably want to suck the life out of me." SHe told him and chuckled as put her finger in her big curls and began curling them with her finger. @Hartley

"Well, you are delicious." Cane stops abruptly realizing that his flirty comment could be taken wrong. "I mean, not like that...I meant.." @sprouhtt

"I get it, as in blood wise delicious." She said to him and shook her head slightly. "How long have you been a vampire?" She asked him as she found a position on the couch that she was comfortable with since her crossing her legs was making her uncomfortable. Sanai wondered how her parents were doing since they weren't here with her and at her aunt's house. @Hartley

"I was just wondering," She told Cane and smiled, she let out a small yawn and covered her mouth as she did. She played with the laces on her dress; feeling them and looking at the patterns they made. "Was it painful? The bite?" SHe asked him as curiosity filled her mind. @Hartley

Cane thought back to when the love of his life turned him. It had been painful at first, but then turned blissful. "It's painful at first, but it isn't for long. What followed after was the painful part, but that was my fault." He noticed Amara playing with her hair and wondered what it felt like. Hopefully soft and amazing.

"If you don't mind me asking, why was it your fault?" Amara asked him as she twirled her hair even more and got up and walked over to the opened window that was blowing in wind. @Hartley

Cane ponders if he should tell her. He hadn't talked to a human in a long time and he hadn't killed her yet which he was happy for. "I tried killing my creator. She killed me and turned me into what I am. I spent a lot of years in pain because of my mortality lost but I got over it." Cane watches her go to his window and goes to stand beside her. Vaslisa opens her door slightly as she slips out into the halls. Her bare feet padding softly in the hall as she passes the rooms marked for the vampires. She couldn't sleep not after what Ciro had said. She knew if was improper for her to even be walking around the way she was dressed but she couldn't think about it. Soon she found herself back in the ballroom, empty now as everyone was off in their rooms. Walking down the stairs she went out into the balcony. They told her there was going to be a storm and while she felt it it hadn't reached them yet. She sat down on the floor, leaning against the railing as she looked up at the sky.

Diali felt no comfort in the book she was reading, or the frustrated wind that came and went as it pleased, rattling the glass attached to her chamber. She took it upon herself to go ahead and entertain herself, so after the butler had left, she rushed to the door and caught it before it closed. She watched Ciro walk away, an odd expression on such a handsome, yet very cold face. After he was gone, Diali spent a few moments thinking about what she should do in her door way before she saw Vasilisa pad out of her room and down the hallway. Since her room was before Vasilisa's she wouldn't be able to notice her lurking there, which Diali chose to do at the very moment. Lurking behind Vasilisa quietly before she saw where she was headed. It was quiet, and the hallways were hushed now that the orchestra was escorted elsewhere. She even noticed how Vasilisa chose to head to the balcony, and Diali decided to take it upon herself to comfort her in however way possible, clad in her silk red night gown that stopped a little ways past her knees. Without her heels, Diali was shorter, very short, as she pulled up beside the female. "May I keep you company?" Diali's words were hesitantly spoken, seeing as English is not her first language, and she still had to get very comfortable with speaking it.

Vasilisa looked up at the woman before her. She's seen this woman before floating with the crowd during the ball. Smiling she gestured to a spot near her. "Of course dear. Please sit if you wish." Vasilisa turned her head back up to the moon as she sighed. "They said there's a storm coming but a night as lovely as this I almost can't believe it." She would laugh softly. Small talk was never her strongest point and with her mind somewhere else it was hard to maintain.

"I know you said that you got over it but did you forgive her?" Amara asked him and turned to face him as she slightly raised her eyebrow. "Forgive her not just because of what she did but for your own sake," She added as she cleared her throat and looked back out the window.

Canes face softens and sadness crawls over it. "I never got the chance...." Cane looked into the sky, remembering the last time he had seen her love, being burned alive and maimed over and over again. He cringed and a small tear ran down his face. @sprouhtt

Amara heard sniffling and she turned to look and saw that Cane was crying. "I never knew vampires could die," She thought to herself. She looks at him and wants to hug him but she hesitates to, "If you do forgive her, then she will know." Amara told him in a soothing voice. @Hartley

"You know why I hate humans?" He hoped she didn't take the question badly,he was just really emotional. "A whole town of them, 127, found her and killed her. And all I could do was watch." The air around him turned cold but his emotions were a little lose. @sprouhtt

"A lot of people are rather cruel, but they do what they do out of stupidity." She told him and turned her back to the window and leaned against the rim of the window. "They just don't understand, both of the species; humans and vampires." Amara added as she shook her head slightly side to side.

"I agree. Humans and vampires are bad. Both in their own ways. All I've wanted is to live a simple, peaceful life." Cane leans against the window and looks Amara up and down again. "I'm sorry for laying my life on you like that, I've just never really told anybody." He looks at the ground slowly. "You know, I'm actually not that great of a person I think. You know what happened to all those villagers?"

"You took your anger out by killing every single one of them, except for one who lived to tell the tale." Amara told him as she tried to meet with his eyes. @Hartley

Shock came over Canes face as he took in what she had just said. Anger quickly replaced it and then sadness. "No one lived to tell the tale except for me. But yes, in the worst moment of my life, I killed an entire town of people. Do I regret it?" Cane pauses, having asked himself this question over and over. "I don't. Although I wish I could." Cane slides down against the wall and sits there. @sprouhtt

Amara risked saying this to the man that was stronger and much faster then her, "You are the most idiotic vampire I've come in counter with," She muttered very quietly to herself, and shook her head when he didn't believe what she had said that someone lived to tell the tale of his rampage. That person was her mothers great grandmother. She let that pass and walked over to the small coffee table that had two bottles of of wine and two bottles of different kinds of alcohol. She poured herself a glass of wine and took a sip. @Hartley

"You really know someone who lived through what I did?" Cane thought about it for a second. He possibly could have missed someone, but it didn't matter anymore. It was in the past and he wanted it to stay that way. "If you really do know someone that lived through that....can you tell them I'm sorry for what I put them through? That's all I can do, is apologize." Cane hung his head in defeat, feeling even worse knowing that there is someone who lived through that. @sprouhtt

She rolled her eyes slightly and took another sip of her wine, "It doesn't matter anymore, and like you said its in the past." Amara told him and she saw a wine bottle that didn't have wine but it was labeled blood. She pour Cane a glass and walked over to him, "Here," She said and handed it to him. @Hartley

Cane looked up and nodded at her offer. "Thank you. If you don't mind me asking....actually never mind. I don't want to know. Maybe another day." He was gonna ask her how she knew this person that had lived to tell the tale and decided not to. He pushed all those thoughts away and started focusing on the present. He stood up and walked over to Amara, removing his tie and throwing it on the ground.
