Fantasy A Union in Chaos

(In Cross's eyes it's soon.)

Cross found Eliphas he immediately put his hands up to show he wasn't hostile. "Look I know you think I can't help you but I know for a fact I can. And I'm only here to offer you something. Will you hear me out? If you don't want to just tell me to go away and leave you alone. I promise on my life that I will honor your request."

"I figured that out a while ago, which is why I'm no longer talking to her.........What do you suggest we do then? She did slaughter an entire castle of guards for no reason."
"Ah yes. I remember perfectly. This is Ari speaking through my Familiar........... I thought you were off trying to fight the Oblivion."
Jacen Rosenthal

He sighed and said "Master, no one slaughters guards for no reason. Even an Evil God. She did have a reason, considering they were in here. Whatever they were for is in here." with a responsive, calm and logical tone. He heavily altered his tone on the important parts.

Kaldor Dreigo

Kaldor responded "The book has been stolen. We do not have anything to fight, yet, too." with a slightly reluctant voice. His Paladins scattered around the streets a bit, to not block any movement. There were quite the lot with him in the city, about 150.

Eliphas

He thought for a moment, but drew out his huge, legendary sword. "Then talk..." he said, very slowly and calmly. His eyelids closed in on each other, as he kept track for any of Cross' movements. Eliphas was not in a good mood. Talking ghost-crap in his head, people after him; probably trying to manipulate him and not a minute to draw breath. And that whole amnesia thing, too.

Cross was straight to the point with this. "If you want a place to stay I have a Book store in Toron. It's got three bedrooms up top if you wouldn't mind I was wondering if you could use a roof over your head. But I will say if you wish to go in my place it will take a bit a griffin is going over Toron looking for you and me. So you might have to come by night. I'll even tell you what's going on plus the purpose of those books. The decision is yours now and I must take my leave."

"We infiltrated this castle castle twice, to slay the king........ and neither of those times did we have to wipe out all the guards and we traveled through the whole castle. This is one sector of the castle........... Their throats were slit. How often do you think a slit throat happens in a battle, let alone an open battle. This wasn't a necessity. These were desire kills, aka no reason."

"Regardless, you still haven't told me what you think we should be doing with her." The only other method besides making her talk was to syphon her memories, but Ari wouldn't go that far

"This guy, Eliphas has all of them. My familiar spotted Cross, and he's working with that guy now. According to Eliphas, when you sent your men to retrieve the book, they were attacked and the book stolen from them. When we went to get the second one, he forced the owner of the second to give it up..........and we're in the castle now. He was working with the vampie Raziel to get the 3rd."

Eliphas

Eliphas slid his sword back into his belt, but he felt a bit distrustful towards the man. He decided he'd think about the offer, and decided to tell him so. "I'll think about it." he said, then walked into the opposite direction. He saw that man from earlier again...

"You again?" he asked, looking at the ghost, who claimed to be Eliphas before the amnesia. The ghostly figure was sitting... or rather chilling on what used to be a tree, now merely being a stump. The man responded "That's right. Oh, nooo, it's Eliphas~!!!" with a joking voice, as he rose his hands and waved them around, pretending to be a ghost. "Isn't that what you're thinking?" he asked, giggling a bit and lowering them again. "Oh, right. We are both Eliphas, I forgot."

Eliphas responded "What else do you want from me, then?" with a curious voice, sitting next to his past-self. The ghost responded "Y'see. I-- We, we have quite the family and I need you to take care of them, pal. Same goes for the books, they're way too dangerous. Maybe one day you'll read them, but not for now." with a rather chill voice.

Eliphas' eyes widened, in surprise and even reluctance. "Read them? They're too fucking dangerous, I should just burn them instead." as some hot lightning appeared in his right hand, he held the book of the body in the other one, above the book. He neared his hand, but was interrupted. "Don't!" the ghost yelled.

Then the ghostly Eliphas got up and said "Listen, you can't destroy the books, not yet that is. They're yours, okay? Do whatever you want, but don't destroy them yet. Got it, hotshot?" with a slightly upset voice. The ghost sighed and said "You call me Inheritor, by the way. Or Old Eliphas, whatever rings the bell for you." as he dissapeared.

Eliphas shrugged and clipped the book to his belt as the lightnings dissapeared. He lied down, waiting for the night, in order to meet Cross later. He looked into the sky... "At least a few hours." he muttered. What was still sitting in his mind is the words that the old Eliphas used... Quite the family, huh? What would that be? Hmmm... he thought.

Jacen Rosenthal

He shrugged, responding "Anything? Physical pain is not a good method against her. No human being that loves anyone can do that for a mental reason, that means something else is corrupt in her. Is her soul warped, or something?" he asked, unsure of what else they can do than to think up of literally any other interrogation method.

Kaldor Dreigo

He listened to the whole story, but then he yelled "WHAT DID YOU SAY?" with a clearly angered voice. "Sorry," he said calming down again. "Can you repeat the Vampire's name? And are you sure that is the one?" he asked him, to make sure.

"I don't possess the ability to look at her soul."

"I do, though." Jacob stepped forward. "Come, Jacen. This can be a learning experience for you." Jacob couldn't see the soul itself, but he could definitely see if the forces in her soul were unbalanced. She was completely out of balance as it was, but is the source of it in her soul?

Saitama was asleep, but woke up hearing Arabelle's voice. "Mom? Where are you?" he asked, clearly with a slightly worried voice, but curiosity was the dominant emotion in the dragon's tone. The communication crystal glowed on his neck, but he walked outside, preparing to fly where Arabelle was.
"I'm at the castle. Do you think you can come here sweetheart? I'm worried with you being there by yourself."

"Yes, mooom." he said, his voice a little sassy. He sighed, as it was a long flight. He started flapping his wings and flew into the air, towards Toron and the castle. It would take at least an hour to get there.

Jacen followed Jacob, with the promise of learning something new being a rather good deal. Jacen couldn't afford to pass up any occassion to learn something, even if it would be something as pointless as watching ants burn in sunlight, due to someone shining a magnifying glass over them. Jacen could not bring himself to stop from gaining more knowledge.

Kaldor Dreigo

Kaldor nodded, then humbly requested "Do you know where he is? My order was made 300 years ago to purge the land of Vampires, as our main task. It's going to be an honor to whoop his vampiric backside."

"We kicked his ass and almost killed him. His regeneration skill, however, allowed him to escape while his body was being set aflame. He went back to the Abyss and he's in a severely weakened state."

"Battle is just as much Psychological as it is Physical and Mental..........by mental I mean magical."

Jacob drew his blade. There was a Yin/Yang symbol on the hilt. It started to move. Next, the Yin/Yang symbol under him began to move, then the Yin/Yang symbol appeared on his eyes and moved. He tapped the hilt to the woman's head and she fell unconscious.

He tapped her chest and the Yin/Yang symbol appeared. on her chest, moving. "When a dot begins to grow, it means the aspects of one is taking down the other. It isn't a bad thing until it loses at least half its ground.......... Someone more selfless and altruistic, or compassionate will have their white dot overtaking their black side. Someone evil and completely lacking moral will have their black dot taking down their white side. It's not that black and white, but this is what you need to know for now..........Remember that neither side is completely good or completely bad."

"Now tell me what you see." If her soul was twisted to evil and chaos, the black would overtake the circle. Any morals and goodness left would be left in the white dot. If there was some conflict, the dots would be fluctuating in size. If she was to the point where she absolutely won't kill anything, or she was evil in the name of something she worshiped, it'd be completely white with any sort of doubt, self-will, and independence being in the black dot.

He looked to his men and said "We will hunt for a Vampire Lord, friends." then turning back to Ari. "Thank you, is there anything else I have to know, or you need to know?" he asked Ari.

Jacen Rosenthal

Both of the dots seemed to be nearly balanced, slightly fluctuating. The black dot was somewhat bigger than the white one, overtaking most, but not all of the space. He said "I see corruption." with a balanced voice, he looked at the shapes. They were nearly hypnotizing, but then he snapped out of it. He looked over at Jacob and asked "Where did you learn this?"

"I learned it from the Buddhists who did my magic training. It requires immense focus and a lot of meditation and studying. It compliments the Harmonic Blade perfectly. I'm actually in Zen Mode, which is higher lever. I could strike her soul directly if I wanted."

He turned back to the woman "So there is conflict and corruption." The Yin/Yang symbol turned into fish, the background into a pool. There was a black fish with a white dot and half-black and half-white fish. The black fish was swimming faster than the half-colored fish. However, it was moving it normal speed. The half-colored fish was moving very slowly, barely moving at all. It meant the fish was sick. "If you notice, one fish is barely moving. That's evidence of mingling. I'll ask something else: Do you think she made a deal with something, some demon or evil god?" The only way her soul could be warped is if a higher power messed with it, be it through a deal, an attack, or if she dabbled in an art or done something that's been known to corrupt.

"Yea, I was wondering if you saw Cross or Eliphas. Misty said Cross was near, so you should've at least seen Cross. Eliphas has those books and we need them."

(Also, don't assume that. Do you think that Eliphas and Jenika are some random kids from the street that learned magic and made a deal with some god? Pal, it's far more complex than that xD Seriously, me and @Paint The Wind have planned so many reveals and plot-twists that even I get confused in the plot that's ahead.)

Jacen Rosenthal

He looked at her, then responded "But, the brother isn't corrupt. What does that mean?" he steeped off of their current research, then said "I don't think she made a deal with anyone. She'd be completely mindless, or completely free. Not in between. And she loves his brother, but also loves killing." with confusion in his tone.

Kaldor Dreigo

He looked at Misty, then thought for a moment. "Even if I saw them, I would not know who you meant. Can you clarify what Cross and Eliphas look like?" he asked, in order to help Ari a bit more. Kaldor wanted to return the favor, for once.

Saitama

Saitama mimicked what his mother said, with a sassy tone. "You do not talk to me like that!!!" he spat, then muttered "Blah, blah, blah..." quietly. He arrived at the castle and saw the dead guards. "Well. This is curious." he said, sniffing one of them. The dragon humbly and proudly walked inside, then towards the Hall of Wisdom. He would pass next to Celia, saying "Heya." not caring for a response. The small, young dragon would walk up to Arabelle. "Righteous mother, I have found you!" he said, cheerfully.

Arabelle hugged her little dragon. "Hello there sweetheart. How are you?"

(From the looks of this RP, it's starting to die. The only people really responding are me, Bird, and Paint. Sometimes Baku and Unamed.)

(We need more players or this won't last much longer. That's why I haven't responded. My fuse is burning out. Not just with this, but with Fantasy in general.)

(I feel like the lack of players is caused because the lore of this universe is too complex, and we do not explain it anywhere. I think it might also be because the difficulty level we're playing on is: "Super Easy." Have you even fucking seen how many Gods we have beaten thus far? The whole point of the Amos arc in ToKV was that Amos was too powerful for mortals and they needed Alreos to beat him. Then you try to tell me that the Adventurers supposedly beat Alreos with the power of Amos absorbed. Yeah...)

@Birdsie[/URL] and I need to reveal some secrets or this will die with seemingly no purpose))
(B-B-But. That won't do anything. You will just waste good, very crafty plot-twists. They won't be fucking exciting if we reveal them with no context at all!)
