Fantasy A Union in Chaos

Cross was running out of options. He knew exactly what Eliphas was going through but if he didn't act quickly he knew Ari and the others would catch up. "Eliphas please you have to trust me. I'm risking so much by helping you. I know what's happening I'll tell you what those books you have do and why you have them. No lies or tricks if I seem like I'm lying then strike me down where I stand. Cross stood there waiting for what Eliphas answer was. He was nervous about this but he had to take risks.

(I just saw your last post so I should point out that Cross can detect the Life force of someone else. So yes even though he never saw Eliphas change he can still tell it's him thanks to his senses.)

"So be it. We can all die in the Oblivion with your brother alone surviving it. You ain't leaving until you tell us what we need to know. We know Eliphas has the books. We just need to know why he has amnesia."
84 hours (I imagine the the castle thing took at least 5 hours and another had to have passed since then) until Oblivion, and Eliphas had Cross on his side. They had to move before they get too far away.
She smirked. "If only you knew what I know." she said with a harsh laugh.

Eliphas

Eliphas was not really that aggressive. He just thought the man wanted to manipulate him. "Leave me alone, you dickwad!" he yelled, his power filling him to the very brim. He was about shoot a powerful lightning spell at Cross, but then mid-flight he heard a voice say: 'Not him. Not yet.' so he stopped the spell while it charged up.

He would instead jump through the window, hoping to run away and be finally left alone. His new coat was gliding in the air and he dropped to the ground about 6 meters below the window. Then Eliphas ran for it, as fast as he could. These books were exhausting, they only caused him trouble. He grabbed the book of the body and looked at it. What the fuck is inside? Why are you so important to everyone? Why does everyone want to hurt, or manipulate me? Who is that voice? he thought, slowly becoming frustrated.

Eliphas ran out of Toron, panting heavily due to exhaustion from running. He hid a bit into the forest and sat down. Some of his memories came back, only some. He remembered a red-haired woman, a man in golden armor and several other things, but no details. Most of the things he's seen were images, short flashbacks of the past. Not even close to enough to figure out what the hell was going on.

Eliphas wanted to know the answer, he opened the Book of the Body, but before he could read, he heard a voice say "I would not do that if I were you." witha rather serious tone. Eliphas gasped, thinking it's another one of those freaks chasing after him. He looked around, but saw no one... he was alone sitting on a stump.

Eliphas kept looking around, then asked "Who is this?" with a slightly scared voice. He got up and looked around, still holding the book, but he closed it. Then he heard someone say "You're talking to yourself." behind him. Eliphas screamed, somewhat in surprise, somewhat in fear, flinching away.

A beam of sunlight was shining upon a man with white hair, his face extremely similar to Eliphas, and he wore similar robes to the ones that Eliphas previously had. The man opened his closed eyes, revealing blue pupils, again, just like Eliphas. Then the man spoke "I am you. You are me. Or rather, I am you from the past. Now I'm just the memory, the mind of someone that is gone. I am the voice that spoke to you and I am here to help you." with a guiding tone.

Eliphas neared him and tried touching him, but his hand phased through the man like a ghost. "So you're just what my mind thinks? You're just a being created in my imagination!" he yelled, in disbelief. He did not believe this... well, it did... relate to amnesia that he had. He rose his eyebrows, but crossed his arms. "Then tell me what the fuck does everyone want from me?" he asked, curiously.

The man responded "The books. They are the most powerful in the land. You must protect them, with your life, until the time is right." with a very serious tone, as if he demanded it rather than asking nicely. He looked up at Eliphas, putting on his hood and getting up from his sitting position, then said "In about 80 hours, the world will meet with the beast that was our beginning." with a very grim voice.

Eliphas asked "What does that mean?" with a curious, slightly worried tone. The man, who deemed himself to be Eliphas' old-self simply chuckled and responded "Hell if I know." with a casual voice, then dissapeared.

Eliphas tried touching the place where the man stood and yelled "WAIT! I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!" but alas, to no avail. He sighed and fell on his knees. "Damn you... bastard." he said, getting up again.

Eliphas looked around to see if anyone was there, that saw him talking to himself, or anything like that.

"'If only you knew what I know...........,'" Ari repeated. "That's what the fuck we're trying to find out." He pushed her towards the entrance to the castle. "Misty!"

She appeared. "You call?"

"I need you to see where Eliphas is, and if Cross is with him."

"Aye!" She took off towards the city.

Eliphas

Eliphas was far, far outside the city walls, in a forest. Misty would have to fly really low near his area to even get a chance to spot him, unless she used some kind of magic that allowed her to see through leaves.

Ari placed the flat part of Primrose on her forehead, then summoned the Yellow Rose. The blade turned extremely hot and burned her forehead. "You're a woman, so by default you're gonna elicit sympathy no matter what. Unfortunately for you, I'm immune to fake charm and crocodile tears. You slaughtered an entire castle of guards for no reason." With Ari's contract, if this girl was an innocent, if he killed her or tortured her, it'd void his contract with Szelanya. However, since she killed the guards in the castle, he could kill her now and it mean nothing. He wasn't gonna do that though.

@Paint The Wind

Misty flew overhead to see Cross, but no Eliphas. She checked the buildings and the houses to no avail. She flew into the tavern and almost got shot out of the air, but no Eliphas. She spoke to him via the Summoner bond. "Master, Eliphas doesn't seem to be in the city...........but Cross is there."

Gabriel

Gabriel would suddenly wake up, yelling: "WHATTHEFUCKFUCKYOUANDYOURLIGHTNING!" and then looking around. "Uh...did I seriously yell it?" He thought to himself, as he gets up and searches for Cross.

@Gabriel97
She gritted her teeth and glared at him. "You won't hurt me with that whore you call a wife around."

Arabelle heard this and looked down and away, ashamed.

Cross was waiting near the unconscious Mage. thankfully he still had an idea of where Eliphas was. He looked up and saw Misty flying above the city. "Hey pal you got any invisibility spells or potions? I need to get out of that griffins sight fast."

@Gabriel97

Gabriel

"A griffin?! OH GOD!" He would use wind to propel himself up in the air, standing in front of Misty. "Hey! Are you a gryffin?" He asked with a pretty curious and happy tone, as he smiled cheerfully.

Gabriel

He would frown, saying: "Weird? Ignorant? That was a retoric question, you dumb creature." As the air disappeared and he landed back on the ground.

Before Ari could respond, which would've most likely been a brutal slap or a punch to knock her unconscious, Jacob put his hand on his shoulder. "Allow me to handle this one." He turned to the woman
"You're so full of anger and so full of hatred," Jacob said, sighing. He snapped his fingers and the healing on her foot temporarily dispelled, putting her back in massive pain. "That lady has sympathy for you, despite what you have done. I won't allow you to insult her like that."

"Master! I've been compromised!" She made the mistake of speaking aloud instead of through the Summoner Bond.

"What happened?"

"Err.......um. Well some guy who's working with Cross just jumped in my face."

"Knock him out!"

"Well.......he doesn't seem hostile. Just......... weird and probably blissfully ignorant."

@Gabriel97

@Baku
She cried out in pain. She glared up at Jacob. "You'd be angry if you had a life like mine too." she said, spitting in his face as well.

He was knocked into a building as Misty Divebombed him. The resulting Air Magic flung him like a ragdoll. Griffins were powerful Air creatures. She had her own source of magic separate from Ari. "Hmph! My master told me to knock you out, but I chose not to. You're a meanie though."

The Leg seal started to glow and spark, putting her in additional pain. This wasn't Jacob's will as much as it happening on its own. Jacob just wasn't gonna stop it. "Then why are you so angry? You talk a lot but seem to say nothing."

Meanwhile, 500 meters away from Toron

Kaldor yelled in anger "What do you mean the book was stolen?! NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT THE BOOKS, SO HOW COULD SOMEONE STEAL IT?" with all of his pent-up frustration being released. After a moment, he calmed down and sighed, looking at his feet. "We have to reclaim it, then." he said, and looked at the Paladins. "Does anyone have an idea where the book is?" he asked...

But nobody answered him.

Kaldor sighed again and looked around, he saw a Griffin flying and landing somewhere far away. "What is that doing here?" he asked, quietly and to himself. He gathered his man and they entered the city, then walked up to the group of people. He hoped this was not a mistake, it could be. After all, they were just some random people. Asking could not hurt in any way though, especially that he had his men. Kaldor walked up to Misty, Gabriel and Cross then asked "Do you have any idea where Ari Waesmor is? I need to speak to him." @Kylesar1 @Gabriel97 @Baku

Cross passed by Kaldor. "Sorry I don't work with Ari anymore. Maybe you should ask Misty she could take you right to him." Cross had to find Eliphas one last time or the world would end soon.

(Soon? We have like... about 76 hours left. We only lost one quarter, and we already made quite the progress.)

Misty looked at the men. She didn't tap into Ari's memories, so she didn't know who these guys were. "I can't disclose information about my master. I can let you talk to him through me though."

She glowed white and opened her mouth

"What is it, Misty?"

"Some man wants to talk to you!"

More pain. This was basically Unconscious Balance, karma to her constant insults of Arabelle, using the seals as catalysts. Ari wasn't innocent in the least, but Arabelle was

"We're aiming to accomplish the same goal you are. You speak about your life quite a bit, but don't want to tell anyone about it. Did you have a bad past?"

Jacen Rosenthal

Jacen sighed, seeing the woman and her anger. He walked up to Ari. "Master, perhaps we should try nicer methods?" he asked, with a very polite, respectful and offering voice. "She clearly won't tell us anything if we deal pain to her, and she clearly has no idea in the slightest where her brother is." he added, looking at Jenika.

"Perhaps we are just wasting our time?" he said, putting more tone into this voice. The voice was a bit louder, and more serious than before. He wanted to point it out to Ari, that they wouldn't get anything out of the woman.

He walked up to Misty and said "I am Kaldor Dreigo, the Chapter-Master of the Sons of Korhal and the Glorious Warrior of the South, also known as the Lord of Silver. I am known under all these names. Does that ring a bell?" he asked, hoping she, or Ari or whoever the hell he was talking to would remember him.

Arabelle wanted to see her little dragon. She tapped her communication crystal. "Saitama?"
