Fantasy A Union in Chaos

Paint The Wind]"Okay." she said softly. Arabelle called out to try and get her kidnapper in the room. [URL="https://www.rpnation.com/profile/31269-birdsie/ said:

Azriel

Azriel was busy doing research, he heard her yell and reluctantly walked up to Arabelle. "Yes, what can I help you with?" he asked, with a polite and friendly voice. Whatever it was, he would help her however he could. "Frankly, I don't have much time. Please, hurry up." he said, also very politely.

"My husband wants to talk to you." Arabelle said.

Gabriel would reach out for Jacen and Elisabeth, taking out his dagger and asking: "What are we fighting?" with a curious tone, while the blade started to blaze with fire.
"Who are you?"

Ari couldn't ask him about the realm, as he could get suspicious. "Arabelle, tell him to teleport me and Jacen there."

(BTW What's the point of the Abyssal rift? Is it to bring the world to ruin?

Jacen Rosenthal

Jacen looked at Ari, and asked "We're going in there?" with a curious, slightly worried voice.

He looked into the crystal. "I am her brother." he responded, with a friendly voice. He looked at Arabelle and responded, "Yes, of course. I just have to cast an incantation, however I need them to do the same. I need them both to say 'devom eb ot gnilliw ma I' "

Elisabeth looked at Jacen and Ari nervously. She didn't know what was going on.

Ari covered the Crystal for a minute with magic. It'd cover up his speech so they couldn't hear them

"Yea. Our objective is to get there anyways, and at bare minimum the rest of the team will know what to expect."

Ari took a deep breath. "devom eb ot gnilliw ma I. Say it."

SOLYMERE

"That sounds like great fun mind if I join you? You could use a mage on your side when fighting. Besides I haven't been in a war for a while...I think it's lightning that's good against demons. Anyway don't mind me. Unless you want to tell me stories." He began smoking his pipe. @Birdsie

Jacen looked at Ari, with a surprised face. "devom eb ot gnilliw ma I." he repeated.

Azriel

Azriel responded "Splendid." and his eyes glowed blue. He responded with his own incantation "Em ot emoc neht." and both Jacen and Ari were teleported inside the huge castle in Azriel's realm. Azriel greeted them both "Hello." he said, humbly and politely.

Kaldor Dreigo

Kaldor ignored the man, and continued walking with his men. He had to keep inner peace, he had to be prepared for the evil that is to be unleashed... he looked at the hourglass attached to his hip... 97 hours left, until they face oblivion itself.

Arabelle heard them and ran to Ari, hugging him tightly and beginning to cry into his chest.

(Something about the homeland that's gonna help get her back? You guys should've just let me know that the plot can't move forward. I mean seriously. There's like soooo many ways to enter his realm without going to the draconian homeland. Here's a few.
  • A ritual that involves them all leaving their bodies. One person has to stay behind, and guard the said bodies. Their spirits will manifest in the Abyss and will be able to traverse to Azriel's realm.
  • Just tell Arabelle through the Crystal so that she tells Azriel to teleport all of them there. Jeez.
  • A deal with a powerful God.
  • A rift in the dimensions. (It so happens that if you paid attention you'd know the next one opens in 99 hours, though that's quite the wait to be fair)
  • Demonic, or Ancient scrolls. Even Raziel has one for Christ's sake.
  • Straight up dying.

Though, it's worth remembering that the way to his realm is riddled with traps, monsters, puzzles, plot-twists and betrayals. )
(What if you ask him reeeeeeeeaaaally nicely?)

Arabelle jumped on him and he hugged her back. He looked to Azriel. "Hello," he nodded. "Ari Waesmor."

Azriel

"Azriel Leighten. I would offer a handshake but I have to go back to my research. It's... we don't have much time. I mean, I don't have much time. You all just do whatever you feel like doing." he said, dismissively. Jacen looked at him and responded "What research?" with a curious voice. Azriel looked back at him, walking away to his research lab, then said "Of the Void." as he walked inside another room and started doing something.

Jacen Rosenthal

Jacen looked away when they kissed and hugged each other, trying not to disturb their privacy. He went over to the room that Azriel was in, only to see huge stockpiles of books and wisdom, scrolls and others. Azriel was sitting on one of such stockpiles reading something. Jacen rose an eyebrow, noticing the huge towers of the said books and scrolls. Azriel looked down at him for a moment, clearly noticing Jacen, but continued reading anyway. On the ceiling, there were some arcane symbols drawn with chalk and the whole room was rather expansive, with the size of castle Riverskull's throne-room.

Azriel
Another Azriel appeared next to Ari. "I am Omnipresent in this realm, Mr. Waesmor. The reason I did not say anything? You didn't ask. What am I researching? Well. I am researching the end of the world. Do you see that huge clock?" he pointed towards a big, church-tower sized clock on one of the walls in the castle. It was not however counting the time of the day. "It counts hours left until the end of all existence." he said. The clock had 97 and half an hour left.

@Paint The Wind @Kylesar1
Arabelle's mouth opened in shock and she grabbed Ari's hand tightly. "What!? How can we stop it!"

Azriel

Azriel heard his question and started explaining his plans and what will happen. He sounded rather calm, but inside you could sense his worry and perhaps even fear. "Both, I am trying to find a way to prevent it, but I also need to gain knowledge about it to even try to do so. So far all I have discovered is that there's a rift in the Void itself. The destructive energies that started our world. The black and white magic, combined into grey. They will create a weak spot in the outer layer of the void, then slowly pour in into the void. However... there is another rift in the Abyss. And you see, in exactly the time the clock is counting, the two rifts will go through each other. The amount of power, will be so destructive that it will go through the Abyss, then into the Physical Realm. And once it hits?... All of the realms will fall apart and be destroyed. There won't even be an afterlife."

He heard Arabelle's question "I have not figured that out yet. There are a FEW theoretical ways to do so, but I am not sure if any of them will work. I need time to research, experiment and stimulate these events and ways in a smaller version. Then I will know how to stop it... if it's even possible to do it." he added, with a rather distrubed voice in the last sentence.

"All I know so far is that patching up the holes in the Abyss and the Void is useless and will prove to be fruitless. Instead we need to stop the energy once it's inside the universe." he explained, still rather worried.

Ari wasn't scared of the end of the world for himself as much as he was scared of it for his kids and the twins. "Before you get back to your urgent work, why would you transport Arabelle here? Is this some sort of protection method, or some sort of last moment catching up type of deal."

@Paint The Wind

Ari had his Crystal out and was about to contact the rest of the team

Arabelle was thinking the same thing as Ari. She needed to protect Willow and Ryan and Noam and Elaina. They were the most important people in her life, she would protect them to the end of the earth.
