Kaldor led the soldiers onward, towards the place where the rift would appear in the Physical Realm. It was fortunately for them, in the boundaries in Rivannia. Kaldor explained the Lord of Korhal that they are going on a pilgrimage towards a holy site near Toron. It was obviously a lie, however it was for the greater good, which was what the order focused on.
Kaldor had a journal in his hand, that he would write fake reports of the journey to the Lord of Korhal, then send them through pigeons. He started writing the first entry right away.

It was literally all the money that he had on himself at the moment, but she needed it far more than he did. It was his duty to help her.
