The second I had a firm grasp on the situation... everything went to hell. After a searing pain throbbed within my knee, the charging enemy toppled over me, and rendered e almost useless to movement. I could no longer feel my sword within my grasp, and even if I had it, the weapon wouldn't be much of a help. My arms were quickly taken care of by a single poniard the enemy had been able to slip into... well, one arm. The other was stuck under my body, and all I could do with my legs was kick and flail. I was pinned down to say the least. Had I actually forgotten an enemy? That wasn't like me... but what happened has happened. Though I wasn't going to accept death willingly. Holding in grunts of pain, I bent my knee up, feeling it slip onto something somewhat soft. Soft? Wait, why? They were armored... and with time, my hallucination fell apart, and the chaos around me left me even more baffled. Where was I? No... I knew where I was... but how did I get here?
