Fantasy A Pirate's Life For Me

Antonio walks to his cabin and lies down on his "bed". He closes his eyes and thinks about the treasure that he and his crew will be plundering. He also imagines what the Aronim Jewels will look like in his hands. He smiles at this. Not his regular menacing or mischievous or intimidating smile, but a real, truly bright smile. Tony stretches and then falls asleep. He forgets to put on a blanket, but he is fine as it is a warm night.

"But Captain!" Sila, the resident carpenter whined. "I know what I'm doing! The baby wouldn't run without me!" She skipped after him, only there to join in the fun and make sinking the other boat possible. "Praise me, praise me!" She demanded in a child-like manner, despite her age of twenty three.

Noticing it was getting fairly dark, to the point where it might get hard navigating Cody walks over to the Captain's Cabin and knocks on the door. He wasn't much of a navigator himself so he would confirm what the Captain would like to do before going about anything.

@Kyon

Amida sighed, Sila was one of the others that were competent, but he wondered whether that description truly fit her. Though she was undoubtedly one of the most knowledgeable people he knew when it came to ships, she had a very 'unprofessional' attitude. Despite the fact that he was a very serious person with a very twisted personality, he still appreciated her presence. Amida had a wry smile of annoyance adorned on his face. "Yes, yes I know your the greatest Sila." He then patted her head, trying to appease her overconfident attitude.

Hearing the knock at the door, Antonio walks to it and opens it up. "Aye, Cody. Can I help you?" He is very groggy and tired, but still manages to keep that smile of his attached to his face. He rubs his eyes, trying to wake up, knowing that he probably won't be going back to sleep now. He stretches his arms by bringing them across his body.

"Do you want us to stop and throw down the anchor? It's getting pretty dark out..I'm not much of a navigator myself, so I wasn't sure if it being so dark would be a danger." He says casually to his Captain.

@Kyon

"Yaaaaayyyy!" She cheered, throwing her arms up over her head while boarding her ship. "I better treat myself with sweets, the captain praised me! He didn't praise you!" She boasted, pointing at a random crew member. "I'm the greatest~ I'm the greatest~," she continued to sing as she disappeared below deck.

He sighed once more, beginning to walk towards the captains cabin hoping that no other crew member would ask anything of him.

Antonio proceeds to stretch his legs. "Nah, I'll take care of it. I doubt I'll be falling back asleep." Tony walks to the helm of the ship. He sets the ship on a straighter course when it begins to rain just slightly. "And to think that the weather was so nice earlier. At least it cools down my sunburn, hahaha!" The wind picks up, allowing the ship to move at a faster pace. "At this rate, we'll be there in no time!" The ends of his smile seem to reach his ears.

"Alrighty then Cap'n." Cody says, walking over to the front of the ship again, listening to their ship pass through the sea. Being on a ship always eased Cody, he felt like this is where he belonged.

Antonio takes off his bandana as the rain picks up and puts it in his pocket. "I guess the saying isn't true; red sky at night, sailor's delight." Tony smiles widely. "At least it gives us a sense of adventure." The wind blows stronger through the sky. "Cody, get the crew topside. We need a few hands on deck." The waves progressively get larger and the ship begins to rock harder and harder. Tony laughs full-heartedly.

Nanami sighed as she leaned against the side of the ship, her short, brown hair settling gently into place and curling slightly at the tips, her strange, greeny-turquoise eyes stared coldly over the ocean behind them rather than the cargo ship they were steadily approaching, her elbow leaning on the edge casually and her chin resting in her palm, her red headband keeping her long fringe for the most part out of the way, two longer strands of hair on the side having a bead on them, her clothes simple and not giving too much coverage of her body, her tattoo of wings on her thigh fully exposed. Quite simply put- she looked bored.
As she heard her captains call to ready the canons followed by a loud 'bang' she sighed once again, getting up from her leaning position with a hand on her hip and rubbing the back of her neck with her other hand, she seemed to be in an even worse mood than usual today. Soon the chaos began and she joined the rest of her crew onto the ship, sword unsheathed and slicing around her viciously with fast, precise hits, most men from the ship leaving her alone as to go after the beefier looking men from the Mileham (I'm assuming we have some sort of, Not controlled by actual person crew members?~) A decision they soon regretted as she struck from behind those she could with an annoyed expression, "What? Not gonna fight a girl?~…." she teased, smirking slightly, soon a significant portion of the ships crew lay ether dead or seriously injured on the deck, the remaining ones turning to face Rein as he exited the captains 'Hiding spot'.

She crossed her arms, leaning against a side of the ship after re-sheathing her sword, not panting nor even breaking a sweat, a few scratches on her arms from the fighting, and by 'a few' meaning three, "What a let down~ They were barely a challenge at all, hey! Cap'n! Why'd you get to be the only one to have any fun!?~" she asked with a slight tilt of her head, despite being a Rigger she had quite an attitude and seemed to think of herself highly, so much so to speak to their captain in rather a 'casual' manner as such. Her eyes stared coldly as she looked towards him, instantly going to the rag around his shoulder, her smirk growing.

Cody yells down underneath the deck for men to come up and give a hand, which they do. He assigns them to where help is needed, making sure no station is left a man short or weak. "Good job, lady and gentlemen. We will win our first battle yet with this fluency, aye?" The random crew members of the Tynedale yell eagerly in agreement, which Cody felt was satisfying.

@Kyon

At this point, Antonio's clothes are drenched. His leather boots are flooded with rainwater. The night sky is black as pitch. The wheel chooses to turn itself, forcefully. "All sails to half-mast!" Tony demands, still grinning. "The masts will break otherwise." Knowing that the wheel has defeated him, he lets go of it altogether and helps tie down the rigging. "Lower all of the masts immediately!" he says.

"Aye Aye, Sir" Jacob yells down below having woken up from the screaming. He began to lower the sails before climbing down to help the captain with the rigging. "This is a pretty big storm isn't it?" Jacob screams to the captain. "Think the cargo will make it, sir?"

Nanami sighed and nodded with a small tilt of her head, "Whatever, not like they'll be any challenge." she replied, going back to leaning against the side with crossed arms and gazing away for a moment, "Aye' Aye' Cap'n. Sure~…. I'm gonna go look for somethin'." she replied stubbornly, getting up and wandering off around the deck,the other crew members running rampant as they looted whatever caught their eye and seemed to like it but Nanami had two particular targets, one being booze which she quickly spotted and grabbed, eagerly shoving it into her bag and holding another two in one hand, on the ship if it was from their supply it had to be given in good portions and limited so they'd not get drunk unless they weren't in a ship infested area, which they currently were by the sounds of things. Meaning booze wouldn't exactly be 'high' on the menu for a bit…. An idea Nanami wasn't to fond of.

She soon spotted the other item of her interest and shoved it in her pocket quickly as if almost slightly embarrassed of doing so, quickly glancing around to make sure others didn't notice before walking back onto the main deck and jumping back onto their ship casually, her jump high and quick, landing smoothly for the most part, but uncharacteristically stumbling slightly upon landing, walking off to a side of the ship for a moment and re-adjusting, shoving the stolen booze away into her own little hiding spot so that she'd be the sole consumer of it.

A bit of time passed and she continued to wait for the others to join her, that cargo ship was the first ship they'd seen in a few days so she didn't think her post was all that important right now despite the captains wordings and soon she'd began drinking, sitting down against a wall on the top deck, she rested her other hand on her knee that wasn't holding a bottle and let her head lean back and gently hit against the wall, "…. Stupid cheap booze. hell' strong stuff but tastes horrible, guess it helps with the pain ether way though~…." she muttered to herself, she stood up a few moments later and looked over the side as she continued to drink, she was a girl who could hold her booze, and that was an understatement. Briefly she thought she spotted something on the horizon roughly in the shape of a ship but her vision blurred slightly and after rubbing her eyes the object had seemingly disappeared into the darkness of the night.

"Huh?…." she mumbled to herself, her vision still slightly blurry, "I hardly drank three bottles…. why?…." she spoke to herself, glancing down at the bottle in her hand and sitting back down, observing it and coming to the same conclusion that it certainly wasn't strong enough to have such an effect after so little an amount, a moment later however a headache came upon her and she was forced to put one hand to her face as she closed her eyes, "…. What's…. going on?…. maybe there was something up with that booze~…. must've been... a dodgy batch." she continued in almost a hiss under her breath, it'd been past twenty minuets and the crew had returned for the most part and were busy examining their 'loot'.

Slowly she got up, throwing the bottle to the side, her vision now quite blurred as she stumbled towards the captains cabin, approaching the door and knocking on it twice as she continued to hold her head, she'd better inform the captain so someone else could be on watch.

Crowley woke up to the feeling of a thousand blows to the head. I fuckin hate hangovers, Crowley thought as he looked at his bed. Empty. "Looks like I didn't get any last night. That girl was pretty cute, though. And she did say that someone had a job." Crowley put on his clothes, and ventured outside to see if The Sphinx had left.

"Why do repairs take so damn long?" Heather muttered while walking off the ship and relaxing against the pier railway so she could watch. They were almost done, and we're now just making sure everything was in the right order. The brown haired won am bit into an apple, munching on it as she flipped a coin between her fingers.

"Oi. You said you had a job." Crowley said as he walked up to Heather. "What's wrong with the ship?"

"Well, nothing now. Just a few more repairs before we set sail again. Oh, how's your nose. Sorry I didn't mean to punch you that hard," She laughed, taking another bite from her apple, "And yeah, we have a job. The captain's probably already drunk herself to death, but hey, you win some ya loose some," she said.

"I'm sorry, what? I don't remember that happening last night.. I just sort of remember drinking heavily and stumbling home with someone.." Crowley said, as he looked at Heather with a cocked eyebrow. "On a better note, what jobs do you have? And how much do they pay?"

"You were shitfaced, so I helped you to your home. You tried to take my shirt off, so I clocked you in the nose," she said, tossing the apple core away, and taking a swig of water. "Master gunner. Not sure about pay, that's the captain's job to decide. I get paid pretty well, about 250 to 300 gold each time we take another ship, or the month comes to an end. I'd say tops for you is 200 each ship you can help us destroy and so on."

"Cool. Oh and I'd try not to pull that trick with the captain. She runs this ship drunk and I'm pretty sure she stab you if you tried to take her shirt off," Heather said, walking towards the ship. "Let's go wake her up, make sure she hasn't killed over." She laughed, walking back aboard the Sphinx. A few of the men were walking around with a slight limp and sour faces. Most of the boys couldn't handle their alcohol, or their money. Heather walked dupont the captain's cabin and knocked, "You awake Captain?"
