Fantasy A Pirate's Life For Me

"Why would it not be fun?" A sadistic smile made it's way on to his face. He then grabbed 6 throwing knives out of his jacket, 3 in each hand and chucked them at the soldiers, each one landing directly in the heart.

Hearing his Captain call his name Cody walks out of newly acquired cabin, making his way to the other side of the berth where he heard Antonio. Stepping into the room Antonio is in he replies, "Yes, Cap'n?" then he notices the table with what appears to be a feast. "You all acquired some good spoils while I was taking in our inventory from the last crew I see?" Looking down to the woman who is our First Mate he holds out a hand, Cody hasn't been formally introduced to her so he figures now would be the best time. With a polite tone he says, "Pleasure to finally meet you, my name's Cody."

Antonio greets Stryker as she enters the dining room. "Please, no need to bow." He wears his smile again. "I'm no more important than the next man on this ship." He takes a seat in a chair at one end of the table and begins to fill his plate. "I'm glad both of you could make it down here this evening. A small boat passed by earlier, Cody, and that event has allowed us to have a wonderful meal tonight."

Stryker

"Nice ta' meetcha', too, Cody! People call me Stryker."

Stryker avoided leaving out her real name. As far as she knew, nobody on the ship knew her real name and she would have liked to keep it that way. It was the older her and Stryker is the new her. That gentle name didn't seem to fit her anymore. She firmly shook Cody's hand with a friendly smile and nodded in greeting. With that, she took a seat at the small makeshift table piled with food. Compared to some of their other meals, this was wonderful and Stryker's stomach couldn't have been more happy. She thought of her family once starving and a swell of sadness washed over her. It was gone just as fast as it had come and she was smiling once again. Instead of talking much, she listened to the two men speak. What did she have to say anyway? Well, she could ramble on, but it would be about little to nothing.

After all of the soldiers were dead, Crowley waked off to the pub. He needed a drink.

"So, how are the supplies, Cody? What do we have in store?" Antonio proceeds to eat a chicken leg in a neat fashion, or at least in the neatest way one can eat a chicken leg. He currently wears a stained white button up shirt and a worn black vest. His pants are black and his boots brown. He smiles pleasantly. It's great to have such a loyal crew.

Heather sat at the bar behind three empty mugs and was working on a fourth. She downed the ale, moving her head to avoid being hit by a stool. "Ugh, bar fights," She groaned, she put another two coins on the bar and asked for another drink.

Cody walks over to the table, pulling out one of the chairs and sits down; picking up one of the wine bottles Antonio brought to the dinner Cody pours into the glass closest to him. As if judging it's taste he takes a sip, after a second of deliberating he believed the wine was delicious and that this were to show his crew were indeed going to have good luck. "The last crew that had this beauty didn't really have much of a haul, I imagine they unloaded it before we stumbled upon them. They did leave a couple barrels of swill, however it's nothing to holler about." Shrugging his shoulders casually Cody adds, "From the looks of it though our crew is happy to be back out at sea again and they are pleased with their first plunder."

After killing the naval officers he said nothing to the mercenary as he walked back to his ship. He quickly checked to make sure all of the crew members were still on board. Still agitated from earlier, he threw a dagger at the rope connecting the Renascent to the dock. "Not my fault the idiot I stole this from was a disaster at maintaining a ship." He then threw several more daggers slashing the frills off the masts, sending it cascading down to the deck. "Oi, stow that away somewhere, we can still use it to repair the sail when we need to!" He then sighed. "Why didn't I just try and take the first rate when I had the chance...Well I could always do so again one day." It was then he spotted a small sloop with the Navy's insignia emblazoned on the sail. "Of all the times for the Navy to show up. On the bright side, it's a merchant ship, on the bad side it's the Navy's." Meanwhile the crew of the Renascent were scrambling to get to battle stations, whether it was manning a cannon, or standing on the deck of the ship with a gun. He checked the name of the ship the Endeavor.

"And they have every reason to be pleased with it!" Antonio raises a glass of wine into the air, signalling a toast. "I'd say we are all doing mighty fine for a new crew, ain't we? To plundering and pirating!" he exclaims. He is glad to be pirating for the first time, as he had been waiting to do so since he was in middle school. He only hopes that the Navy outpost in the Uhadu Plains has plenty of loot; that is, if there even is an outpost. Tony was going solely based on rumors and gut instinct, but his gut had never failed him before.

"Ah, you again." Crowley said. Luckily, this wasn't Carl's bar. Crowley flagged down the bartender. "I'll have some rum. And, I'll be paying for her drinks." Crowley motioned to Heather. "You aren't from around here, are you?"

"No," she muttered, "I'm from The Sphinx. I suppose you know about that since I showed it to ya," She said, looking at the man from before. "You get patched up?" She asked, taking another swig from her drink, moving again to avoid getting hit by another fighter. She pushed him back into his opponents.

Raising his glass he motions cheers, taking a swig of wine and responds to the Captain's toast, "To plundering and pirating!" Setting his glass down he continues eating the chicken on his plate. After a moment goes by he finishes eating, downing the remaining glass in his wine. Looking over to Antonio he asks his Captain, "So, what kind of rumors have you heard about the alleged Uhadu Plains Naval outpost?"

@Kyon

Tony sets down his glass and begins talking. "I overheard from a few Navy officers at a pub in Umma that they had just come from there, those officers being the ones that man and I killed earlier today. I don't have exact details, so we may be searching for a good while." Antonio takes a swig of his wine. "We should be there by tomorrow (for the sake of RP time)." Finishing his plate, Tony heads topside to check on the crew. "I hope you all enjoyed the day, because after today, things may get rough." Even though he says this, he manages to keep the same, unphased smile on his face.

"Heh. Thought just as much. And I didn't need you to show me your ship for me to know." Crowley remembered the gash in his side. "Nope. I ain't got anyone to treat it for me, though." Crowley chuckled as he finished his drink. He poured himself some more. "I don't think we have been properly introduced. Alistair Crowley, at your service." Crowley extended his hand for her to shake it.

She took his hand and shook, "I'm Heather Lexington, First Mate," she said. Heather brushed her hair out of her face, and finished her drink, and ordered another. "You might regret saying you would pay for my drinks." She smiled, taking a sip once the froth had settled a little.

Nodding his head in acknowledgment Cody walks out behind the Captain, up to the deck. Once topside he leans against the railing on the edges of the deck that tries to prevent mates from falling off the ship, making sure everyone was listening and paying attention to the Captain. As rough as it could get though, it will ultimately be worth it, Cody thinks while listening to the Captain tell the crew it could get tricky at Uhadu Plains.

@Kyon

Antonio speaks loudly enough for the entire crew to hear. "Now, I want everyone to listen. Even though today was easy, we can now all be charged with theft, murder, and hijacking. We most likely also have a bounty on some of our heads now, too." Antonio clears his throat. His smile lies on face, still. "With that said, we are wanted people. As we kill, steal, and plunder, we become more and more notorious. Make sure all of you are prepared at any given moment in time for a fight as we never know when the Navy or other pirates will attack." Antonio gives a very respectable bow to his crew. Everyone of Tynedale bows back and stays respectfully silent. "That is all." Tony turns to walk to his cabin.

Listening to the crew on the deck speak eagerly of becoming more notorious, Cody gets a grin on his face. He could tell they genuinely couldn't wait, which would make their will towards going after this Naval outpost high. Making way to the front of the ship Cody watches the sea in front of them, satisfied with how things are looking for them.

Jacob flies down from the masts to greet the rest of the crew, as he had fallen asleep prior to the hijacking. "Sorry about passing out captain, but I see everything went okay. So this is the crew we have?" Jacob gives a smile before saying, "I'll be in my cabin until you need me, sir."

Amida maneuvered the ship so that it's port bow was facing the sloop. "Load chain shot!" Chain shot would shred their sails, and if lucky, topple their masts allowing them to board, or bombard them from their blind spot. It was only 15 seconds later that he gave the command. "Fire!" All 32 port side cannons fired their chain shots. It was devastating beauty, the enemies sails in tatters, the mast laying broken on their own deck, probably crushing a few people as well. "Load round shot!" Once more cannon fire resounded, the enemy able to do nothing but stare in horror as their deaths approached. An explosion resounded, their magazine was hit. A fiery inferno claimed the ship as it's own, horrifying screams of dying sailors resounded through the air, and Joe was smiling through it all. He sailed the ship so that it was parallel with the sloop. "Boarding planks!" wooden boards were laid down, connecting the two ships. Only a few crew mates went on the Sloop as there was still a raging fire. Amida crossed the boarding plank and headed to one of the few places that lay untouched, the captains cabin. He kicked the door sending it flying off it's hinges. The room was lavish, it had a fancy bed with golden sheets, beautiful wallpaper lined the walls, and most importantly there was a shelf stock brim full of wine. He looked around once more, this time spotting a man hiding under a table in the far corner of the room. He walked over and dragged the man from out under the table. "Soldier, what is your rank?" He said it while smiling kindly, but his eyes said otherwise. There was an insane glint, something that could only belong to a madman. "I-I am a Chief Petty Officer sir." He said so In a meek voice that was barely audible. "Good, good, you must be of high enough rank to be able to answer this question. What is the military fort with the most gold inside?" This time he had a sadistic smile and a cruel aura, one that belongs to a tyrant of the highest degree. "It-It-'s F-Fort Reldnek." "There ya go, that wasn't so hard was it?" He then took a needle out of his coat, it was dipped in King's venom, one of the deadliest on the planet. He then stabbed the Petty Officer in the neck with the needle. "Jeez, 'Petty' Officers sure a good description. How the heck do they train their soldiers nowadays." He then walked out to inspect the survivors. They were all on their knees with a pleading look in their eye. "Now then, you lot, you can either join the crew, or die. Simple right?" He said so while smiling with a friendly aura. Most of the men nodded or simply said yes, walking towards the Renascent. One man however, grabbed a sword from a crew member, stabbing him in the chest along the way. The crew of the Renascent charged him, screaming bloody murder for the death of their now fallen comrade. Meanwhile Amida was seemingly uncaring, checking his surroundings. "Hmm, this ship is going to be underwater very soon, and I can't find Wren anywhere. Interesting, welp bye everyone!" He then crossed the boarding plank and went back on his ship. Moments afterword, the Endeavor completely submerged, most likely drowning all of those who were on it. "You see, now this is why I needed you all as a crew, because I just lost a lot of my former crew members. I hope you all have a little more sense then they did." He then gestured towards the now nonexistent Endeavor. He walked up to the helm whistling a happy tune the whole way, ignoring the horrified looks of the former navy soldiers. The rest of the crew however was completely used to this, having sailed under him for long enough to know how he acts. "Hmm, I wonder where Wren went. She is after all, one of the few people on this godforsaken vessel that actually knows what she's doing."

"Hey, buying a drink for a woman as yourself is not a regret in my book, let alone all of them." Crowley said, as he finished another glass. "Trust me, I'll need the alcohol. I've gotta find someway to stitch myself up again."

"Well don't go around getting yourself stabbed," She said, "Come on, I'm pretty sure there some stuff on the ship you could patch yourself up with" she said standing, pushing a drunkard's head off her shoulder.

Jacob takes a deep breath before heading into the nest of the Tynedale and taking a very peaceful and relaxed slumber, but before he makes it up, he falls on his face and screams "FUCK!" Afterwards, he continues to go to sleep in the mast.
