A Piece Of Cake!! {Always Open}

C.J.'s phone starts buzzing and sees that it's Lyon. "Well better get this done quick and easy." Cari picks up. "Hi Lyon, um, this is hard to say but things are really working out with me. I want to break up." With that said she hangs up and waits for the worst. The rain doesn't give up, just like C.J.
 
Her phone starts ringing and she quickly picks it up, not seeing who was the caller. "This is C.J. speaking, who is this?" I really hope it's not Lyon!
 
"C.j..." Lyon says softly into the phone, "why? why do you want to break up?" he ask, a bit confused since they just started dating, "I thought you said you loved me?" Lyon ask again.
 
C.J. thought of what to say and quickly looked around to see if Leo was near. "Lyon, that was a lie. I'm really sorry if this breaks you, but I only did all those things for you. You seemed happy so I went with it. I never 'loved' you, I just pretended. The real person I love, is someone that I cannot tell you..." Cari didn't know if she should hang up or not.
 
Lyon looks stunned, looking around as if to find a answer. Pretend!? Now I'm pissed...


"Oh so you just pretending to say 'I love you' too me? When you were the first one to say it!" Lyon yells in the phone, waking up Rio and Yoru from their nap. "I never said I had feeling for you at all, YOU'RE the one who came up to me first with that love bs C.J. not me! So don't you dear say you did it for me when you came on to me first!"


Rio wakes up quickly from hearing yelling, thinking it was Lyon and Leo fighting again but he notice that he was in the living room with Yoru asleep next to him. Rio slowly gets up so he doesn't wake her and goes to the kitchen to find Lyon still yelling.
 
C.J. jumps and pulls the phone away from her ear. "The only reason I told you that, was because Leo told me not to play 'games' with you. So I agreed with him and I told you. I thought it would heal some parts of my heart, but it only broke it more. Hearing myself say it, makes me realize why my dad never really loved me. He would say everyday when I went to school, but he didn't mean it. Now I understand. Please don't call me again." She hangs up and sets Lyon to vibrate instead of ringing.


Yoru's eyes flutter open slowly and she sees Rio going to the kitchen. "Rio?" She wants to get up, but the fatigue gets to her and falls asleep once more on the couch.
 
Lyon slams his phone on the ground hard, "damnit!!" he yells loudly.


"Dude, control yourself, what the hell happen?" Rio ask, stepping more into the kitchen and sitting at the table.


"You want to know what happen, the one girl I actually liked and wanted to be with lied to me and broke up with me for someone else!" Lyon yells, "that's what the hell happen.."


As soon as Lyon says that Rio begins to think about what C.J. said in the living room to Leo. oh no.. he thinks to himself.


Leo finally gets out of bed and takes a quick shower before heading back to Lyon's house. Just down the street he see's a cardboard box and smiles a little, "you're going to catch a cold you know.." Leo says as he looks inside the box, finding C.J.
 
C.J. curls up more and smiles. "I..know..but I don't..care." She looks at Leo half asleep and smiles more, giggling a little bit.


Yoru cringes at Lyon yelling so loudly. She grips Rio's sleeve and looks really scared. "I'm...scared.." Yoru barely says to Rio, Lyon not hearing.
 
Leo smile fades as he hears the loud yelling. He sighs and runs his hands through his hair, "what did you do?" He ask calmly.


Rio sits still and watches as Lyon rants and yells. Feeling a grip on his sleeve, he looks up and sees Yoru. Gently, he pulls her to his lap and kisses her cheek, "it's fine.." he says.


No it's not...C.J....that trader.. he thinks.
 
C.J. stops smiling. "Like I told you yesterday, I broke up with Lyon. He sounds pretty pissed off right now, so I'm not going to face him for a while." Her eyes open a the way and looks at Leo a little scared.


Yoru blushes and looks down at her hands. "Thanks...."
 
Leo sighs and shakes his head, "well, I'm going to have to face him.." Leo stands up, "go home Cari.." he says, his face serious but his tone gentle.


"And just like that she broke up with me. ME! unlike her, I actually had feelings for her but she freaking played me!!" Lyon yells, passing back and forth in the kitchen.
 
C.J. sighs and stands up. "I guess since you look pretty serious. I'll leave this place with a present for you." She stands on her toes and kisses Leo on the cheek gently then starts walking to her house happily.


Yoru stays on Rio's lap and listens to Lyon go on and on and on about the 'break up'. She slips a little and has to move her waist up, if someone saw this it would seem sexual. ;)
 
Leo smiles a little before turning and heading inside Lyon's house, ready for the shit storm. As soon as he stepped in the yelling was a full volume, seeing Lyon walking back and forth in the kitchen and Rio sitting with Yoru on his lap. "what's up guys?" Leo ask casually.


Rio holds onto Yoru waist, blushing a bit, thinking about thinks he know he shouldn't before he hears Leo's voice. "oh, where were you at this morning?" Rio ask, letting Leo know that he knows what's going on.
 
Yoru blushes and doesn't move Rio's hands. 'Why does this feel....natural?'


C.J. makes it home and goes into her room. "Lalalala~" She starts singing happily and doesn't have a care in the world. Cari almost forgot to take a pregnancy test. After a while, it showed that she was negative. "I'm soooo glad that I'm not having a baby with Lyon...that was a close one."

Rio turns his attention back on Yoru, making him blush a bit, "um..y-yeah it does.." he says softly before kissing her on the cheek then looking back at Leo. "so I'm sure you already know about what happen between C.J. and Lyon right?" Rio ask, his eyes narrowed on Leo.


"Yeah I did, I think the whole neighbor hood did too.." Leo chuckles a bit, seeing that Rio is hiding something from him.


"I'm so done with the stupid girls at our school, it's only been three months since school started and I'm sick of it already!" Lyon yells before finally sitting down.
 
(( When's the dance? O.o And when Yoru had the why does this feel natural, it was a thought ))


Rio makes Yoru blush more and she gets off of his lap and heads for the basement. "I'll let you guys talk, a girl shouldn't be listening to this stuff." Yoru runs down the steps and collapses on the couch, burning up.


C.J. puts her phone on the dresser next to her bed and lays down thinking about Leo. Her parents weren't home so she didn't really care about them. Cari falls asleep and starts dreaming about him.

"Well, I don't think you should get so hung up over it, you guys only been dating for 24 hours. If she doesn't like you then just move on. You still have Naomi who is ready and willing.." Leo says, leaning on the kitchen counter. Rio watches Yoru leave and sighs, "whatever you say, still have to dance though so I'm going to take Yoru home.." Rio stands up and goes to get her. Lyon shakes his head, "You're right Leo, I need to just get over begin played. I'll see you at the dance.." he says with a small smile.


The rest of the week goes by smoothly before the big day arrives. The boys won the homecoming game on Friday and the dance followed on Saturday. Rio gets ready, hoping he'll still look good even with a scare on his face he got from begin tackled.
 
Yoru fixes her hair and checks her dress, making sure nothing was wrong with it. "I hope Rio likes it..." She turns around to see the back and smiles.


C.J. slips on her heels and looks at herself in the mirror. "Ready to impress Leo!" She heads out to her mom's car.

'God Lyon, my grandmother dresses faster than you!" Leo yells from downstairs as he fixes his tie. Rio comes down from upstairs with his arms open, "what do you think? to dressy or maybe under dress, not a good tie to wear?" Rio ask nervously, not sure if Yoru would like it on him or not, "Are you kidding me, you and Lyon are a bunch of females, the dance already started at I'm ready to get some free food." Leo says as Lyon comes down with his car keys. "Lets go.." All three of them leave out and to the dance.

C.J. arrives at the school and slowly walks to the front door. Slow enough for Leo to see her when he arrives.


Yoru walks into the dance and sits down at a table in a corner. Some friends come sit by her then leave after a hour. She sits there, waiting for Rio to arrive.

"We're about an hour late because of you females!" Leo says as they walk to the front of the door of the dance.


"Would you just shut-" Lyon was about to say before stopping dead in his tracks when he sees C.J. Staring a bit in surprise she came how she look. "What?" Leo ask, looking the direction he was looking. Leo sees C.J. and feels his heart skip a beat.


"Let's go.." Lyon mumbles, walking pass C.J. Rio looks around and sees Yoru sitting alone and he smiles at how she looks. Rio walks over and sneaks behind her, "you look beautiful.." he whispers.
 
Yoru jumps and almost spills her drink, she looks behind her. "Thanks, and wow...you look handsome..." Yoru smiles at him and blushes, patting a seat next to her.


C.J. takes a quick look around and spots Leo behind her. Lyon and Rio go past her so she takes this chance and walks to Leo smiling. "You look great Leo! I like the sort of simple style, what about me?" Cari steps back a little to let him see her better.
 
Rio smiles and kisses Yoru on the cheek before sitting next to her, "I've got you something.." Rio gets out the pink rose he was carrying and hands it to her, "I hope it's not to much.." Rio blushes a bit.


Leo looks C.J. up and down before remembering where he was. Leo shakes his head and clears his throat, "you look good Cari...I like the way you did your hair.." Leo nods his head in approval.
 
Yoru blushes and smiles. "Aww! I love it, it's so pretty!" She leans over and hugs Rio, then puts it in her hair.


C.J. smiles and kisses Leo on the cheek. "Thanks for paying me a compliment. That is my payment to you." She starts laughing at her comment and walks closer to Leo.
