A new life

[Sequoia]

Alice shook her head, eyes still rolling down her face. She curled up on the bed, shaking. "Can we just cuddle...please?" She whispered, clutching a pillow to her middle.

"Alright love. Only because you are my future wife," Kevin said gently. Taking off his shirt and shoes, he joined her.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice let go of the pillow and instead clutched his shoulder, burying her face in his neck and breathing deeply. "I want you hex him. Badly!" She said.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"I can do better than that," Kevin said with a grin on his face.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice looked up, confused. "How?" She sniffled.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"By dragging him up one side of the castle and down the other," Kevin said jokingly.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice giggled. "A stinging Hex would work just as well." She whispered biting her lip and smiling up at Kevin.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"But a stinging hex can be avoided," Kevin said.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice nodded. "Not if two are shot at the same time!" She grinned as she tangled her legs with Kevin's and drew patterns on his bare chest with her finger.

"Oh I see," Kevin said. Then looking at her he said, "You might be pregnant."

 

[Sequoia]

Alice sat up. "What?!" she yelled. "But we...only the one time...How?!" She asked, looking down at him.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Only one time is all it takes," Kevin said honestly.

 

[Sequoia]

"Can you tell for sure?" she bit her lip, slightly afraid but also excited.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"I'm just saying that it's a probability. Madam Pomfrey may be able to tell you for sure," Kevin said smiling gently. Touching her forehead gently he said, "Now you can go up the pipe on your own."

 

[Sequoia]

She blinked then stood up, pulling his hand. "I want to go see Madame Pomfrey right now. I have to know."

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Ok, then let's go," Kevin said smiling gently to her.

 

[Sequoia]

She jumped up and quickly checked her appearance in a mirror before running ahead of him to the pipe and waiting.

 

[kevinhdobson]

Kevin grabbed Alice gently and flew to the Hospital Wing. Smiling gently at her, he looked for Madam Pomfrey.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice spotted her. "Madame Pomfrey! Can I talk to you...privately?"


The nurse nodded, giving a stern look at Kevin to stay there while she took Alice to her office.

Kevin sat down on a bed and waited for the two women to talk. Suddenly he felt very nervous. 'What if Madam Pomfrey hexes me,' he thought to himself.

 

[Sequoia]

After a few minutes, Alice came out, nervously twisting her hands together, she thanked Madame Pomfrey, who smiled and went back into her office. Alice started walking towards Kevin, biting her lip.

"Well, what did she say," Kevin said sitting nervously.

 

[Sequoia]

"The spell worked." She shrugged. "I am..." she bit her lips waiting for his reaction nervously.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Well, that's great. Are you nervous about telling your father," Kevin asked curiously.

 

[Sequoia]

"I'm nervous if you want it." Alice said, shifting her weight from foot-to-foot.
