A new life

Kevin held Alice tenderly as he slept. Have peaceful sleep for the first time in years.

Alice woke when Jesse started crying against her chest. She softly moved from Kevin's grip to feed and change him.

Alice's absence from the bad woke Kevin up. Seeing her changing Jesse, Kevin got up and walked into the shower. After he had showered, Kevin walked into the kitchen to get a strawberry banana smoothie.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice put Jesse, back-down on the bed and shoot colored puffs of smoke from her wand to entertain him.


"Do we have anything to do today sweetheart?" She called.

"Not really. Tomorrow, yes, but today no," Kevin called from the kitchen. Sipping the smoothie, he thought about everything and sighed.

 

[Sequoia]

"You okay?" She replied, leaving Jesse playing with her red curls and winced as he tugged.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Just thinking about everything love. Things have a way of not going as planned with me," Kevin said bluntly.

 

[Sequoia]

"So...getting married to me wasn't planned...Our son wasn't planned?" Alice lightly teased, handing Jesse to him as she looked for an apple to bit into.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"That's not what i'm talking about. Our family I had planned, it's just the Malfoys were never a part of it," Kevin said looking down angrily. Looking at her gently he said, "Harry, Ron, and Hermione need to know what my father will be up to. I'm probably the only one that can help them."

 

[Sequoia]

Alice took Jesse back into her arms and kissed Kevin's cheek. "I'll go with you. Right now. The sooner Harry knows...the better. And I was meaning to talk to Mione soon anyway..." She said smiling.

"Alright, come on. Let's transfer to the London house," Kevin said before picking up Jesse and heading to the portal. Walking to the portal, he reappeared in the hall and then in the London house.

 

[Sequoia]

Alice followed, tying her hair as she walked so Jesse wouldn't tug at it. "To the Gryffindor common room then?" She mumbled, her hair clip held between her teeth.

"No, it is the end of the year. We must go to the Dursleys home first," Kevin said as he got into his car.

 

[Sequoia]

"Harry won't be there anymore...He's most like already at the Burrow. Mione too." Alice reminded him, taking Jesse from his arms to kiss him on the head.
