Alice made cooing noises at Jesse, holding his little hand and smiling at him. She gasped when his eyes glowed and her scars on her hand from long ago disappeared. "Baby..." She said, looking at Kevin with wide eyes.
She looked down at Jesse and kissed his cheek. "Look at you! So smart already!" She cooed, rubbing her nose along his tiny one.

I was just...in pain at the time but the gratification of having my son in my arms assured me that I wanted a house, full of the patter of little feet and children's voices." She said, smiling happily and kissed him, leaning over Jesse.

"I know but these visions barrage me every night. It's like the me of another dimension is crying out and nobody there will hear him. He's human, with my same name and personality but no one will hear him. His immediate family hates who he is becoming and he knows it," Kevin said as tears streamed down his cheeks.

Alice carefully maneuvered until she sat in his lap and placed both her hands on his cheeks, wiping his tears away with her thumbs. "Kevin Dobson. Your wife, vows, right now in our bedroom, that she will do everything to stop these vision because the man she loves does not and will never deserve that kind of pain. Sweetie, I love you and these visions...are nothing but fake. Please don't let them affect you like this. I can't bear to see you in pain." She said, kissing his forehead and holding him tightly to her.

"I know but as much as I hurt, it is only a small fraction of his hurt," Kevin said holding Alice. Then he fell asleep and saw a vision of the other 'Kevin' having less hurt and relaxing more.
