I think it depends on which group you’re in, with Voodoo they typically use natural or “Normal” ingredients. Bones, Hair, Herbs, ect, ect.

Nickname: Diseased Crow, Sir Prize
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Orientation: Heterosexual
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 198 lbs
Features: Adam Prize is a tall man, with a rather powerful frame to him, lending to many asking him if he played football in his youth. Combined with his taste for fine clothing and attention to style, most would pen him down under the broad concept of perhaps coming from some influential family. Has a few wrinkles on his face, which he claims to come from stress from running his flower shop.
[div class="Line"][/div] Talent: Chloromancy
Magics: Potion Brewing, Alchemy, Artificing
Coven: The Exiles, though claims this to simply be his past.
Role: Witch
Likes: Plants, herbal remedies, birds, medival history, and of course, plays.
Dislikes: Being unnecessarily disturbed, hooligans messing with his plants or shop, being cheated, bad acting, and thunder.
Vices: Prideful, Habitual Liar, Unemphatic, Secretive
Virtues: Friendly, Willing to Listen, Intelligent, Great Sense of Humor
Fears: That someone may find out his dark past isn't quite as in the past as he claims it to be.
Familiar: Plagus
[div class="Line"][/div] Personality: It all depends on where you find him at. In public, he's prone to being friendly and kind. The kind of person you'd occasionally think of, and when you needed a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen, would probably be more than willing to assist. A bit of a dry and dark sense of humor at times, but generally only when it feels like it'd cheer someone up or calm them down. A very smooth talker when it comes to the ladies as well. In private however, this caring and kind persona fades away to reveal a more sarcastic and caustic wit. Easily capable and willing to tear down someone's confidence if it so benefits him. What was once considered dry and dark for humor quickly turns into rather sinister implications and possibilities. Some might even get the idea that they're being manipulated, because surely one of these two personalities has to be an act... Right? There's no way a man could swap so perfectly between kindness and cruelty. That's as silly as a story of some mad doctor concocting a potion for split personalities...
[div class="Line"][/div] History: Adam Prize was born to Blake and Serena Prize, two rather well off witches, all things considered. Making use of their magic to grow plants and using said plants for both herbal remedies and potion brewing, they offered Adam not only a very early introduction to magic, but guidance in how to use his powers, so similar to his mother's as he caused plants to grow healthier... Or die off when he threw a tantrum. For the better part of twelve years, he grew up peacefully, learning about magic and plants from his parents when he wasn't busy learning in school or leading the gardening club with discreet usage of his talent. He simply said he had a green thumb, whenever asked. On his thirteenth birthday, he was finally introduced to the bigger picture of this world of magic. He finally learned about the covens, and how they were a part of some group called the Assimilators. Something about trying to live a normal life while using their powers... Or something like that. He honestly couldn't care less. He was a teen, and this sounded like stupid politics or something. They also spoke of the other covens, but he only focused on one. The Exiles. They sounded... Cool, to his teenage, rebellious mind. Not cool enough to seek out... Yet. Three years later, and Adam would run from home after a heated argument with his dad about how he's focusing on the wrong things in life, and that his grades mattered more than perfecting his magic, even outright forbidding him from practicing his alchemy until he started taking this seriously. Without a real idea where to go, his mind drifted back to this supposed evil coven of evil out in the bayou. Sounded more like an urban legend to him, like how that old house at the end of the street was haunted. Sure, was it possible? Yeah, but he doubted it. He rather quickly found out the hard way though, being surrounded by what he assumed to be the walking dead, and dragged to some form of... He wanted to say court, but it seemed more like a tribunal. Asking him why he was here, arguing whether or not they should use him for their experiments... Until one spoke of the potential he had. Someone dressed up rather strangely, in this day and age. Actually looked sickly, if you asked him. So, he was given a choice. Become the apprentice of some creepy looking, sickly dude, or die probably horribly. It is rather easy to guess what he'd end up choosing, considering he lived past sixteen. For five years, he learned from the witch calling herself Plagus, since according to her, normal names were for the mundane. He personally disagreed, but she'd politely remind him that he's an idiot and to not question teacher. Once those five years ended, and his teacher had passed on, he was granted the freedom of a choice. He could stay, or he could head home, since he was now one of them. He, of course, chose to return home, fearing that he perhaps had fallen off into some path he didn't quite want to stay on longer than necessary. His return home was followed with about three days of celebration by his parents, glad to finally see their only son again. When asked where he was, he simply replied he had to find himself. He apologized profusely, smiling slyly as he watched them slow their breathing. If he made that right... They should pass on the next night from a heart attack, and through that, he became the owner of the family shop, which he's been working tirelessly for the past three years, eager to supposedly make his parents proud.

[/div][/div] [div class="Name"] Samiel Morse Bellman[/div]

Nickname: Bell
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Orientation: Bisexual
Height: 6'1
Weight: Heavier, 243 Lbs.
Job: Magician entertainer!
Features: Samiel is a gruff, middle aged man who is in his own right a child star that got into business quickly and learned to adapt to it. Both of his shoulders have black sleeve tattoos, and a distinct decorative 7 is both scarred and tattooed on his left pectoral muscle over his heart. He has a second personality he uses for a TV show he is the star of, but has an altered version if he ever decided to use it for a disguise. The Masked Magician!
[div class="Line"][/div] Talent: Non-interactable reality bending illusions!
Magics: Prestidigitation, potions specifically centered around alcohol, rune engraving.
Coven: The Exiles!
Role: Witch!
Likes: People, other magic, food, guns, computers, games, different variations of alcohol, music.
Dislikes: People, the Council, New Orleans, mean people, charity given to the fortunate, child abuse, a lack of compassion, voodoo in its most malevolent uses.
Vices: Lustful, self conscious, occasional hedonism, self important and envious.
Virtues: Friendly, wise, morally fair and genuinely holistic.
Fears: Loneliness, purposelessness, his magic gone, being de-limbed, ignored.
Familiar: Beauty, a Mark 2 .22 Ruger.
[div class="Line"][/div] Personality: Samiel grew up humbly, although mostly sheltered from the worst of the world. He did not grow up privileged, but he did not grow up malnourished or in suffering. More so in constant angst until he reached his magician career. He is often a little insensitive but listens to sincerity and people's necessary boundaries, taking care that people are enjoying themselves more or just as much as he is. Though he may succumb to some of his vices, he regrettably is conscious of his faults and just does not argue against them. He is more prone to sink into hedonistic behaviors when encouraged or enabled by others, and just the opposite when discouraged. Though he can be very light hearted, silly and even immature, he does this by choice and is completely willing to act both his age and place when he deems it necessary. Behind a thick exterior he has a delicate soul, and through the rough ideals he could have he has morals he cannot simply ignore. He is profoundly a believer in human kindness and the future where people are good. He strives to be one of these people, proving to himself somehow over time with kind acts he thinks karma will back him up on.
[div class="Line"][/div] History: Growing up in New Orleans loving card magic, Samiel's adoration for street magic became a full on career and life style for him. He did not know of his magical abilities at first, but upon playing a game of guessing cups, he learned he could make a dollar dissapear but still be there. Upon learning he could do actual illusion magic, he practiced it and went on to try doing more and more elaborate illusions. He practiced with his mother, whom was an Exiled from the Council that wanted to live away from the council and live her life without magic entirely. She teaches Samiel at a very young age, and Samiel often skipped the necessary loads of life for a teen like major school effort or leaving the home, or getting a job all to perfect his art. It went so far he isolated himself, alone and without friends, but his talents paid off. He did local magician work at the age of 18, and It went so far as to getting him into the light of Rupert Murdoch. Murdoch would contract Samiel to do several magician TV shows and even perform in mainstream competitions as other aliases. There on his main show however, he was the main guest with a host where Samiel did magic anonymously and became an official performances magician. No one could explain his tricks, so he was a phenomenon to behold! His use of magic has gotten him in trouble. The Council believes he is going to far, and others believe he should use his powers for crime. A line of morals goes over his magic performed on TV, since using his magic in front of large audiences takes a lot of energy from him. He has kept the secret of witches under the wraps for his whole life, and despite his amazing tricks on television and in places like Las Vegas he has always just been credited as a magical exclusionary genius.
