Fandom A Game Called Life (Accepting)

Roku had been quiet mostly over the new issue that seemed to be forming. The choosing of sides between the Adventurers and the Denizens, was a fruitless endeavor even to herself. After all though the lines had been drawn in the sand, the setting clearly pushing them towards such a choice, she knew that there was little they could change. The hearts and minds of others could not be swayed by words, actions spoke far louder and influenced things far greater. For now, the least she could assume was that any push against the way the world was reacting would be met with further hostility.

Roku sat with the others in the pub and rested her head upon the table. She wanted to celebrate but, she felt disoriented, her mind far too active to linger on anything. Roku instead stood and stepped out of the pub looking at her friends before smiling at them sadly, "I'm sorry I just need time to think, don't worry about me just have fun." She said before slipping away from the pub.

Roku headed to the one place she could think of that would have the information she sought, the librarium. She approached it hesitantly and entered it's interior just as another left the depths of the library herself. Roku lowered her head and entered pushing the door with some force. The interior of bookcases looked before her. Roku clearly have zero idea where to begin sought the aid of another and eventually located another woman looking over a book.

Roku thought she had seen this person somewhere prior, where she couldn't be sure but, she knew it was recently. Roku coughed lightly as if to get the attention of the female, "Excuse me, um, I was wondering if you knew if there was any books on the adventurers of the last era??" She asked in a quiet tone. Roku awaited an answer and moved beside the woman eyeing the book she was holding in curiosity.

"I'll order some food then," Orlando stated. Before he could do so however, he was interrupted by Roku who stated that she needed time to think and not to don't worry about her. "Very well, we'll still be here probably!" Orlando replied. He then began to order some food for himself, Joshua, and Kala using some of the money he had. "We're probably the only adventurers that will come to this spot so we shouldn't have to wait long for our food. In the meantime, I propose we find a way to pass the time until our food gets here."

@xEmoBunnehx @revior

"Pass the time, huh... Wait a minute, there's still that thing with the shadowy cloak people. Man, there were distraction the whole time, I ended up forgetting. Isn't it about time you spill the beans Boss? Rather, I don't think there's anything else to talk about anyways so lets get on with our little conspiracy theories."

Truly, one thing just came after another, best make good use of this time of calm and respite before something else happens.

Kala sighs quite deeply at Joshua. "Can you not go a few moments without asking about serious topic? I'd like to enjoy the night after our long battle." She said, perhaps a bit too harshly than she'd maybe meant to..but she rolled with it. Of course Kala would love to sit and hypothesize about what they were, maybe they'd all get somewhere but that's not what tonight or the remaining bits of tonight where about. It was about victory over impossible odds. Triumph in the face of certain death. Not a time to be serious and bellyache over the cultist. "Oh and another thing, my name isn't fruitcake. Call me it again and I won't hesitate to break my sword across your head." Her voice was stern but had playful undertones in one might of been listening carefully.

"Oh come on now, so long as we pretend that it's none of our business and that it won't possibly impact our life in the future, it can be fun to talk about. It's not like we have anything better to do anyway. But if you so inclined, then perhaps we can get onto another topic."

In fact, having just been told to never ever call her Fruitcake again unless he wants to test the durability of his skull against her sword, Joshua have just to topic to bring up.

"So, it just came to my attention that I haven't quite caught any of your names yet. I mean, I throw my name around pretty much all the time, but apparently not everybody does that. So how bout' it, what don't we introduce ourselves one more time?"

@xEmoBunnehx @Clockwork Syringe

"Both of you cut it out! We should not be arguing on a night of victory, instead we should be celebrating. Yes Joshua, I know that the cultists worry you and its rightly so. We have no idea who would trigger the massacre against us, but we shouldn't be discussing it. We need to first of all enjoy the night," ranted Orlando. Suddenly the door to the kitchens opened and a chicken platter was brought out for them with a rather large pitcher of ale. As the server set down the platter and the mug Orlando gave her some gold coins to cover the cost and replied, "Thanks sweetheart." The server smiled and walked back to the kitchen, "So introductions," Orlando stated as he poured himself a glass of ale, "I'm Orlando Demrox, adept katana wielder and proficient earth magic user."

@xEmoBunnehx @revior

"Woah, woah! Calm down Boss, we're not exactly fighting. We're just...... bantering, yeah. Ain't that right, Frui-Errr-Lady with large, terrifying sword... Oh look the food is here!"

Wiping the cold sweat off his brow, Joshua casually adjust his distance from the masked lady, just in case.

"Well met, Orlando. And you've probably already heard, but I'm Joshua Gladiolus, good and running and sneaking around apparently."

After his brief reintroduction, Joshua began eyeing the food and between short intervals alternates his gaze from the food to the party member, wondering when is it fine to dig in.

When Alexander had arrived at the temple, he couldn't find Ash anywhere. Asking around, he was told that he just missed her, and that she was led by someone in the direction of the library. Thanking the informant, he began his trek towards the library, taking note of the two different kinds of reactions he got from people as he walked. He could tell that some heard the news of what he wanted to do, and were looking at him curiously, and he noticed that a large group of those people were Adventurers. The other look he had received was one of caution, but not exactly unfriendly, and predictably it came from the Denizens. Sighing under his breath, he simply smiled and greeted everyone along his way to the library. After what seemed to be an eternity, he entered, and there he found Ash with another girl. Immediately assuming that they were in conversation, he decided it would be best to talk to her later, lest he intrude. He moved deeper into the library, looking around for anything to catch his attention. Through his search, he stumbled upon a few books on setting up organizations and what is necessary to do such, as well as a few things on adventurers and denizens alike. He even found some folk tales that he found a bit interesting. Taking a seat at an unoccupied table, he let loose another sigh and began reading, waiting for what was to come later tonight.

With book in hands, Ashelynn came to not even notice the opening of the doors. The lettering itself proved to be the center of her intrigue, less focused upon their meaning and order for now. For such an entity to exist within eyes clouded by nothingness, it was truly captivating. However, her attention would pull as an unfamiliar voice rang out within this hall of knowledge. With irises of rust, she instinctively attempted to meet the non existent mass of color that spoke. "The adventurers of old?" She questioned inquisitively, mildly interested on why an individual would seek knowledge on such subject at this point in time. From the sounds flooding the walls within the library, she would think all would be in celebration upon the streets.

"There are but a few that cover non-repetending knowledge. They can be found here on the first floor, north eastern corner of the library. Three rows in on the left bookcase, second shelf if memory serves correctly." That's right, her knowledge of this structure was sound, every bit of it burned into her memory within the days she has spent within this world. Finally, Ashlynn closed the book upon her lap, forcing herself to stand as she withdrew it's presence, concealing it under her cloak as she embraced the gift tightly against her chest. An experiment was gnawing upon her mind, bringing her to wonder if traversing at least this place would be possible for her without sight. Her initial steps were cautious, waiting until her fingers met one of the bookcases, idly running along the wooden frame until familiar embroidering found her touch. "With me, Adventurer." Now with confidence her frame carried forward without caution, no signs of worry resting upon her. It was not as if she was completely reliant on vision in the first place, but, the capability of even minor visual references now seemed like a blessing. Within her mind she attempted to restructure the entire building, forming the pathways and general design by memory.

Upon entering the predesignated row of bookshelves her eyes became more active. Certain characters upon the label of books lit through the darkness whilst her presence neared. The gentle warmth of a single clarity bringing a light smile to her lips as she strode along side the books, fingertips delicately running along the lines of varying texture. At last she paused before a single section, unknowing if the girl had indeed followed her. It mattered little, seeing as Ashelynn only chose to accompany the adventure on whim of testing her mental structuring. Within the library, the sounds of pages turning came to be present as well. Peculiar, how it was during a night such as this that others came to study.
"So why is it, that you seek this knowledge?"

Roku followed the woman as she led the way however Roku noticed the way she walked seemed less stable then she would have thought. Roku stayed close to her ready to catch her at a moments notice in case she somehow collapsed upon the ground, though Roku wasn't certain why she was unsteady. Roku listened to her question and bit her lip slightly debating with herself how to respond, "We fought a giant of man named Rok and," She paused sighing to herself as she began to rub her arm nervously. "And he felt familiar to me like I knew him, it keeps gnawing at my mind so I thought to look them up." She explained.

While this was the true course of her actions this evening, Roku was also desiring to be away from her friends and allies. For reasons she couldn't quite place within herself she kept hearing herself quietly whisper a phrase within her mind constantly. "Stay away, Stay Away, Stay Away," This was the only clear thing she could ever recall of herself. Before the battle with the giant she had simply tossed it up to her being lonely in the past. Perhaps afraid of something, now however, the words and the feeling of familiarity with the Giant made her fearful. An almost illogical fear that she couldn't explain.

While waiting for the woman to respond and fighting off the thoughts of fear and confusion that floated in Roku's mind. She began to scratch at her arm seeking a way to relax still not knowing why this habit was forming.

(Ah, the repetition of posting whilst reading into the lore of another RP!)

So other appeared before the other groups, perhaps bearing the same title of hero as Sun. However, this thought paled deeply in comparison to the adventurers following words. A familiarity was felt with another despite their memories being dissolved, more so, a familiarity to an entity they did not know even existed. Furthermore, what fountain has this girl found, that she would relate those who deemed themselves heroes, to the adventurers in the past? Subconsciousness was such a peculiar thing, much like her own melancholy towards the teas within the inn. Was this question based upon such instinctive pull, or did this individual stumble across a hidden well that passed even beyond the Denizen's reaches? "I fear that information on personal identities are not present within the archives. As most scriptures and other writings speak of the adventurers in mass rather than individual accomplishments."

Ashelynn faced the individual, incapable of sight but habits remained as she attempted to analyze that which was before her. Was it fear that seemingly reverberated from this girl? Or was it a deep sense of anxiety as she plunged towards the unknown. With these questions Ashe would be led to disregard her earlier idea of a well consisting of untainted knowledge. This girl would not embody such trivialities if it was something she could understand. "Perhaps what you seek lies with more interactions from these 'heroes'. With my judgement based upon Sun, we will likely see more of their kin. Otherwise, feel free to access all that is written here in hopes that something will spark." Choosing to back away from the individual, she lowered herself to the floor against the opposite shelves. She wished to provide distance, but not so much that she would miss an opportunity to find that which this girl held. With cover of the book she withdrew once more, she idly tuned all senses towards the adventurer, feigning her attempt to read that which was within her hands.

@Lana Valentine

Roku took a book, a surprisingly simple one that was more of a child's book. It explained the basic premise of the adventurers of old, the heroes whom came before in a mass state. Roku settled and sat besides Ashe, a part of herself curious about her and her ailment but, still her focus was truly on herself at this moment.

Roku slowly opened the book and began to read the legend that was written down upon the pages. The book laid claim that thirteen adventurers stood out amongst another large batch of them, sent by the gods to help the Denizens of the world. Roku curiously realized that small similarly between the first era and this one, they had started out the same. Roku continued to read before a picture within the book caused her to begin furiously scratching at her own arm, she breathed heavily before tossing the book away from herself. "They'll all die," She said her voice dipping with fear, Roku shook and hugged her knees close to herself.

Roku was frightened, something that was lingering in the depths of her memory invoked this feeling. She couldn't directly figure out what it was but, one thing was for certain that she realized even now. She and the heroes of the old were connected somehow. This thought continually brought her pain as she thought on it and delved further into the emptiness of her memories. Roku had never been caring about the lost memories until now, now she was frightened and scared of the emptiness that existed within herself.

Kala sighed deeply and poured her a glass of ale then took a sip before looking to Joshua. "Kala." She pointed to her self then moved her finger back to the giant greatsword on her back. "Anguish." She said then lowered her hand to the table. Unlike the other two, she didn't really know what to say about her skill, nor did her sreally like to say her last name for some reason. Like when she wanted to say it..if left a very bitter taste. She and Anguish were a team. Two separate entities but an unstoppable force. Kind of. "Orlando, you already know Anguish and I." She said rather simply as she waited for Orlando to dig in first as that was polite since he'd paid for it.

@Clockwork Syringe @revior

((I have returned! c:))

Orlando look a gulp of his ale then spoke, "That I do. Anyway now that introductions are over, we should think about if we want to keep this party the way it is moving forward." Orlando took some of the chicken from the platter and put it on his plate, "each of us has our strengths and weaknesses and from what I observed during the battle, we cover each other's behinds pretty well together. So I propose that we form a semi-permanent party and whatever quests are taken, we take them together. From what I observed from when I fought Gleamfang, if you're a part of a party when you complete a quest, all party members receive loot." Orlando then took a bite of some chicken.

@revior @xEmoBunnehx

Kala took a long drink of ale. She wasn't totally against the idea of a semi-permanent party, but working with Joshua.. well that would prove to be difficult for her as he was already on her bad side. After the rather long drink she looked at Orlando, giving him a bit of a hard look; not one that was mean..but more of one that was like 'come on..'. After Orlando had dug into the food, Kala did as well though before eating she'd respond to Orlando's proposal. "I shall..consider it." Was all she had to say about it. Now normally Kala was a solo player; however, just this once she might actually join a party and see just how well it went. Orlando was right, they all did seem to work together well. Kind of. They needed better coordination. That was for sure. While she awaited responses, Kala, in the most ladylike of ways, ate her chicken. She was sure that she wasn't being messy at all, or barbaric though this being the only food she'd really had all day..it was hard to contain the growls of her stomach and moans of delight over something so simple.

@Clockwork Syringe @revior

While everybody else had tasted the ale, Joshua had not, for he was underage.

"Sure, I don't see any harm in hanging around for a bit longer."

As he says so, he eyed Kala for a brief moment before returning his gaze to the food.

As everyone else begun to dig in, so has he, taking a piece of the chicken for himself and proceeding to strip it of its flesh with a knife and fork with little difficulties. Bit by bit, Joshua ate slowly, savoring the taste. How long has it been since he had tasted an actual dish and not just scraps of leftovers. If it meant having food such as this everyday, remaining in this party for an extended period of time may not be such a bad idea.

@xEmoBunnehx @Clockwork Syringe

Ashelynn kept her poise, holding firm to her position as she could take note of the adventurer taking place beside her. It was not as if a closer study ruined the possibilities, her prior distance was only based on withdrawing any insecurities. After all, she knew nothing of this individual's habits nor preferences. With the rate of pages turning by her side, she could at least tell that her will was partially earnest. However, all fell apart within a moment's passing. Scratching could be heard, not that of one clawing at the pages or cover of a book, but perhaps at themselves. And then, a sudden movement of arms resulting in a distant thud. This girl had just thrown a book, either she was attempting to annoy Ashe, or there was a sense of apprehension that has been revealed.

With silence, Ashelynn returned her own article of literature to it's home within her cloak, gaze cast upon the girl at a not so intruding angle. It was curious, the compelling allure of acting upon such a scene. Perhaps it was the desire for knowledge that led the blind individual to go beyond her normal limitations. With her hand, she reached out for the girl, grabbing first her arm before relocating to the shoulder. Apparently shock had overcome her, fear was certainly dominant in the form, noticeably shaken from whatever ticked. Could it by chance be that she was linked to those heroes? Did she just witness the first individual recall a memory that detailed their lives before this world? Either way, this adventurer held a key that she desired, and as such, she could not allow madness to settle within with it's distorting features.

"Silence your thoughts, Adventurer." Ashelynn spoke softly, removing her hand from the should of the girl. She forced her frame to scoot along the ground, lessening the distance between the two as she instead placed her hand atop their head before coming to pet the scalp. She held no logical reasoning as to why this method was chosen, as there was no legitimate proof to be had that could even hint towards aiding a lingering mind. "Only the past is truly written, though it's pieces are not always stored with care. As such, not even past can be perceived appropriately without further clarification. With that, living within the past entitles needless repetition due to misunderstandings." Her words paused, a mild humor could have been found within the fact that once more she was holding a discussion of such nature. However, this humor was lost upon the only individual to whom it sung. "Do you have companions, Traveler?"

@Lana Valentine

Roku was still shaken, frightened from the emptiness of her mind. This was lessened however by the sudden movements of the person beside her, the comfort she had just received from her had calmed Roku down considerably. Roku found herself closing the distance further between them and resting her head against the other simply desiring the comfort still.

Roku answered the girl as best as she could, "I have a couple of friends, Orlando, Kala, and Joshua... But, then that picture, it showed like a painting of the adventurers somewhere and it hurt my head," She said not certain on how to explain it.

Roku was quiet for a few moments and hesitantly spoke again, "I'm Roku by the way, I'm just super confused lately. My friends are probably celebrating and here I am afraid from the emptiness I feel within myself." She said with a saddened sigh.

@Kel Vas

(*collapses* Short post, apologies! )

A gradual, growing pressure met Ashelynn's side, the adventurer seemingly latching to the attention their were receiving. As such, she continued the gentle motion of petting the girl's scalp, casually treating the individual much like a child as they talked. This was quite the pure individual, freely voicing things that would perhaps keep other silent. However, with purity comes naivety, instead of resting upon her friends she sought the answer alone. Ashe could not deny the interest she held in prying open the secrets buried within this girl's fragmented memory, but another force seemingly opposed this greed. With a soft sigh escaping her lips, she chose to abandon her part within this source. Besides, before she could properly begin seeking the knowledge within this world she needed to solidify her own standing as the observer despite this setback of vision.

Releasing her hand from Roku's head, Ashelynn leaned further against the bookcase behind her.
"I would recommend you attempt to rejoin your friends within the festivities. Seek not that which creates emptiness, but rather fulfill yourself within the presence of those cherished. If confusion ever settles, force their attention upon you so that you may solve it together. Otherwise, you are merely attempting to fill an empty cup with an equally empty pitcher."

@Lana Valentine

Roku sighed to herself but, nodded her head. "You could always join us, if you'd like to at least." She said as she began to stand up with a small smile. Roku offered her hand to Ashe to allow her to stand up easier.

Internally however, Roku still felt out of place. The lingering lack of memories still affecting her however, she hid the pain of it away behind her usual facade of happiness. Roku hoped that the morning would bring her some peace though, her gut feeling seemed to be that it wouldn't be the case. Life was hard and unforgiving some days and Roku simply hoped that she was making the right choices.

@Kel Vas

@EveryoneElse •-• (Are you guys ready to move forward yet to the next day? We'll be going over what to do for your levels as well in the morning post I believe )

Alexander, who had been listening in on the conversation between Ashe and Roku, sighed to himself and got up, leaving his books on the table. As he began to head out, he stopped by the two, spoke to them. "I would take her up on her offer Ashe. Enjoy the night. Anyway, I had come to talk to you but..." He sighs and runs a hand through his hair. "But I need to make a fairly important announcement to the people of this town and I do believe this is the time slot that has been given to me, so I must go. Who knows, maybe you'll decide to come listen in." His piece said, he stuffs his hands in his pocket and left the library.

As he walked towards the town square, he took the time to tell everyone he passed by, even going as far as to pop inside shops, that he would be giving a speech for anyone willing to listen soon. Some people seemed interested, others not so much, but he knew it would turn out like that. All he could hope for would be for his previous group to have spread the word about his desires to speak to everyone. Eventually, he had reached the town square, and he noticed that there was a bit of a crowd there. There was even a makeshift stand and podium where everyone could see him, and he reminded himself to thank whoever set that up for him. As he stepped up at the podium, he began to wait a bit as more and more people began to trickle into the town square. Seeing that this was a good amount of people for what he desired, he began.

"Hello everyone. I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to come and humor me with this. My name is Alexander Tyfield, and I am an Adventurer. I was the instigator of the GleamFang fight, and one of the main contributors to his defeat. I was part of the group of Adventurers to take the challenge, and I was part of the Adventurers to kill the Denizens that had ambushed our carriage on our way there. I was part of the group that faced one of your heroes that went by the name of Sun Zhao, and we only came out alive of that encounter because he was playing with us. Today, I have come here for various reasons. To start, I would like to apologize for my actions and the actions of all the adventurers who share my sentiment. I apologize for killing your friends and family, people that I too had considered friends. I understand that their actions were their own, but so were mine. I cannot begin to explain why or how I could bring myself to do such a thing. I cannot comprehend how my first reaction to seeing someone I consider a friend attacking me would be to kill them, not ask what is wrong or subdue them. It is beyond me, and I regret it every waking moment. Yet, I know there are Adventurers out there that do not share such a sentiment, firmly standing by the fact that they should not regret defending their lives, and I can respect that. However, I cannot willingly say that I can do the same. However, no matter your standing on this topic, one thing is known for sure. Our actions had major consequences. Due to what we have done, we could very well be on the brink of war, and that is something I do not desire in the slightest. I have seen Denizens so much stronger than us Adventurers. I know not what the other two groups had faced, but I know for a fact that Sun Zhao could have annihilated my whole group in a blink of an eye. We Adventurers sing praises of our so called blessing of rebirth, yet what does it matter when there are those who can kill us so easily and repeatedly? They know where we return when we are reborn, and even a child can stand in wait with a knife, ready to end our existence as soon as we appear. The fact of the matter is, the Denizens don't need us Adventurers, but we need them. And I know many Adventurers would vehemently disagree with such a notion, but I believe it to be true. That is why I want to stop the threat of war no matter what. That is why I have a proposition for everyone. We Adventurers need something that binds us all together. An organization. Something along the lines of a guild, except much, much larger. Something that would ensure that our safety and our desires are realized. And I do not say this with the intent of me being the leader of such a thing. I desire such an organization to be lead by the people we wish to lead us. People we can look up to. People that we can understand and relate to. But for this to even be brought to fruition, I need everyone's help. I need people's support. I need to know that I can depend on them to do their part to make such a dream a reality. And yes, I realize many people do not agree with any of my sentiments. I know that people dislike me or will dislike me. I know that people would rather die then work with me. But I ask that people put such things aside. I do not ask this for my own personal gain. I ask this for the betterment of everyone! For the sake of both Adventurers and Denizens alike. I need you all to help my ambition come to fruition. I may already have some supporters, but I need more. I want Aparaches to be a paradigm for all the other towns out there. I want everyone to see that Adventurers and Denizens can get along, no matter the mistakes caused in the past on both sides. It will be a long and hard process, but I believe in all of us, Denizens and Adventurers alike. I know we can do great things alone, but together, we can make the impossible a reality. That's all I have to say, and if anyone has any questions, please, feel free to ask while we are all still here. And thank you. For taking the time out of your day to listen to someone like me."

@Kel Vas @Lana Valentine @xEmoBunnehx @Clockwork Syringe @revior

"Very well then, now I suggest that we ought to sleep on this thought so that we're all in agreement about forming this semi permanent party." Orlando then took a swig from his glass before continuing, "Now that we have food and ale in our bellies, i think its time to move onto something more dire since might be forming a party together. The issue of an unseen puppeteer behind the massacre, Kala brought this up to me back when we were forming our parties, but I think now is at least a good time to dwell on it for a bit."

@xEmoBunnehx @revior

((Sorry short post, I have work I still need to do.))

Kala sighed softly. "Right. The mastermind who fucked with the wrong set of people." She said rather bluntly. "My guess is on someone who set the world event up, knowing we'd all partake in a slaughter. By doing so we slandered the names of Adventures. Perhaps this person, whom ever they may be, was watching from the shadows when the battles partook. But the raises the question of: How could this person be at two places? So maybe it's not one, but a group of people." She said, pitching in her own thoughts on the matter as her face grew serious and he tone back to the normal one she always had.

After her mini speech, Kala looked from Orlando to Joshua then took a long swig of her ale and ate a bit. The whole idea that simply trained citizens were sent to battle a small army of Adventures fresh in mind now. The more she thought about it and the hooded cultists, as she'd figured they were, the more some faint tingle in the back of her mind about perhaps something..she couldn't quite figure out bothered her. This little tingle she'd felt very faintly before when she first saw the hooded figures and called them 'cultist' like it was natural. Like she'd seen something like that before..but else where. The more she thought about it the more the tingle grew, as well as caused intense pain.
Why was that scene so familiar to me..?

@Clockwork Syringe @revior

"That makes sense, otherwise, this all just seems too strange to just be a series of coincidental events."

But just this much wasn't enough. They could speculate all they want, but if they don't know who are the ones pulling the strings from the shadows then there's no point.

"But what do they plan to achieve by doing this? What could they possibly gain from this? What is it that they want?"

Intentions, their intention is key. If they don't find out their intentions, then they can't even catch a glimpse of the shadows of the tail of their cloaks. Without knowing their intentions, then they could be anyone, anywhere. They could be around them, even sitting amongst them. They could be Denizens, or perhaps, even Adventurers.

"Well, I guess we could just ask that giant person in the mountains. He's clearly involved in some way. We know where he lives, right?"

"I agree," Orlando started, "one of these days we'll need to make our way back to Rok and ask him about it. However, I believe a more sinister force is at work than the heroes of this land. They're supposed to be heroes right? So why would they provoke a fight with a very obvious outcome to turn the denizens against us? First thing's first though," Orlando took a large gulp of his ale before refilling it from the pitcher which was now 1/6th full due Orlando, Kala, and Joshua drinking from it, "we have to repair our damaged relations with the denizens. Whoever did this is clearly thinking in the long term and we need to turn that against our unseen adversary and use it to our advantage."
