The ride to Matty's wasn't long by any stretch, and they pulled into his driveway seconds after him. Izzy turned the engine off and stepped out of the car to meet Matty halfway and exchange a brohug. They embraced each other warmly, giggling. "I love you man."

Matty led them to his living room. "Who is up for some Teen Titans Go?"
Izzy sighed loudly. "Like, OH MY GOD, Matty! No one likes Teen Titans Go! I know you have Adventure time TiVo'd." He flopped on the couch next to Matty and patted the cushion next to him for Mei to sit down.
"Liek, OH MY GOD, Izzy," he mocked. "Nobody like Adventure Time either."
Izzy sighed loudly. "Like, OH MY GOD, Matty! No one likes Teen Titans Go! I know you have Adventure time TiVo'd." He flopped on the couch next to Matty and patted the cushion next to him for Mei to sit down.

Mei nodded. "I agree. The original series had a lot more depth and drama. Then they turned it into a meaningless comedy with out any plot or reason whatsoever."

Matty scoffed. "You just brought her because she agrees with you!" He glared at Izzy before squinting at Mei. "Look, Go was never intended to replace the original Teen Titans. They came out with Go years after the original was canceled, and it was only meant to be a fresher, lighter take on the concept. It's about their lives as just a few superpowered teens dinking around Titans Tower and Jump City. You can't hold it to the same standards; they are simply not the same."

Mei nodded. "I know, I just wish they would have continued the previous one because it was far superior in many ways. As for Adventure Time, it is about equal to the old Teen Titans."

Izzy's body shook with laughter as he choked out, "I win!"
Matty opened his mouth as if to argue, but just then there was a knock at his door. He sighed and went to let Brad and Gabe in. The door opened, Brad greeted Matt with a peck on the lips, and Gabe hauled a six pack in each hand over the threshold. "Who's ready for the preparty?"
Izzy sighed. "Gabe, we are watching Adventure Time. Sit yo ass down and shut up about your 'pre-party'. No one gives a shit."

With a glance at Matty, Izzy asked, "And why would that be?"
Brad spoke up with his limited vocabulary. "Jillian's gonna be there."
Matty sighed. "Oh my god, you are not still on her."
Leaning closer to Mei while Gabe was distracted, he whispered, "He wishes he was still on her-that's the problem."
With a glance at Matty, Izzy asked, "And why would that be?"
Brad spoke up with his limited vocabulary. "Jillian's gonna be there."
Matty sighed. "Oh my god, you are not still on her."

"You were a terrible boyfriend. It's no wonder she left you. And it's Jamie's girlfriend that invited her." He looked at Matty. "Are Mitch and Jesse coming here? Maybe they can talk some sense into him."
He gestured towards Mei. "Or her. Mei, wouldn't you leave a guy if he never texted, or called, or even hung out with you? I mean, that pretty negligent, right?"
