She loved the words of approval, but wanted to let the Lucario have her body back. she dropped it and returned to her body. "Thanks mommy!"

Liese shudders, but then goes back to her "normal" stance.

"What do you command of me, mistress Danielle?"

"Practicing indirect control? That's a much less tiring method. Good thought. Also...a closer look reveals something we both overlooked. This Pokemon is truly beautiful."

Simon is still asleep.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Yeah, she's really pretty" She said, slightly envying her. "But not as pretty as you mommy." She said meaning every word.

 

[JessieSune]

Balaa blushes. "Thank you, sweetie. I do have some beauty of my own, but this Lucario is very attractive for her species."

Liese, having not received a reply, simply stands at attention.

 

[AmethystRoze]

Danielle was slightly confused why her mom seemed entranced.

 

[JessieSune]

Balaa notices Danielle's confusion and giggles a bit nervously.

"Sorry, sweetie. Um... perhaps we should get some rest. Except Liese, of course. I imagine you'll be having her guard the cave. Tomorrow I shall try to stay out of your way as you protect the forest."

This idea made her nervous still but she pushed it aside and snuggled up to her mother, getting ready to sleep.

Like before, Balaa wraps her daughter up in her tails, then stretches out.

Liese moves to the cave entrance and takes her stance outside to watch for any and all danger.

"I will protect my mistress and her family."

Danielle snoozed though before she actually fell under the spell of sleepiness she decided to use that bridge she had earlier and see if she go inside her mom's mind undetected.

It works seamlessly. Balaa doesn't even notice...as evidenced by her standing in the middle of a room looking, it seems, at a screen showing the day's events. She is awake in mind, though not body.

She pried around a little, slightly giddy, and slightly nervous afraid she might be caught.

 

[JessieSune]

There are...hundreds of books, and screens, full of things she knows and has experienced. One is simply titled "Those I love." There are, however, so many things to look at that it is obvious she's been around for even longer than she might remember.

 

[AmethystRoze]

She was awed at all of Mommies knowledge and memories. She walked over to the book with those she loved, wondering if Simon were there, though she was sure he would be.

 

[JessieSune]

The book is very big. Danielle is on the first page. Simon is on the second. There are other Pokemon, however, which Danielle has never seen... it's not clear who they all are, though reading the entries does show some things about them.

It also shows that her last mate was a Lucario...

She notices this and feels a little bad for her. Poor mommy was feeling bad when she walked in... it must've reminded her of her last mate. She thought then thought something else. I.. I wonder if any of these are my daddy.

Even though the book is long, none of the entries mention Balaa having children.

She was confused.... wouldn't mommy have that in here? She scanned abit more before finding nothing. I.. I guess it's not very important.... She tried to convince herself before leaving an snuggling up to mommy again. Her mother warmth pushed away her doubts and she fell asleep.

The night passes silently with Liese keeping watch.

Danielle wakes slowly, still wrapped in mommies tails she decides to stay where she was, not wanting to wake her or lose the embrace.

Liese has not moved. Neither has Balaa. It's very peaceful.

She stirred a little only to stretch her legs, though she was curious to see where Simon was. She peered out of her mother's tails to see if she could see himn

 

[JessieSune]

Sure enough, he's still where you saw him last night, curled up on Liese's shoulder. She has her eyes focused -- she doesn't even seem tired.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"How do you feel liese?" She asked the lucario.

 

[JessieSune]

The Lucario turns and faces you.

"I am well, mistress. I trust you rested pleasantly? I detected no threats during my vigil."
