She looked closer, wanting to know as much as possible. "Liese… you have such a pretty name."

The Lucario in the middle suddenly moves and faces Danielle, still standing at attention.

"Your kindness is appreciated, mistress. What do you desire to know of me?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"H...how close are you too your family?" She asked Liese, starting to wonder if she was being mean.

 

[JessieSune]

"It depends. I am not very close with my parents, but my three brothers and I are very close and we love each other deeply. My parents were kind, but they are passed, and so I have not thought of them since you asked. What else do you wish to know?"

The smile on her face might be endearing if it wasn't a result of mind-control.

 

[AmethystRoze]

She felt pangs of guilt for Liese, did she split up a loving family.... "Are you a good fighter?" She asked though it seemed obvious.

 

[JessieSune]

"I am an excellent fighter. I have battled faster and stronger Pokemon, but thanks to my training and discipline I have defeated even those mightier than me. You are the first Pokemon in my entire life who has been able to subdue me."

This is followed by a nod of respect.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Do you like fighting?" She continued to pry, hoping she wouldn't cause a break in morals for her.

 

[JessieSune]

"When it is called for. I do not like to be violent for only violence, but a good tussle or a worthwhile cause will always inspire me to fight hard and well. As will your order, when given, mistress Danielle."

She places an arm across her chest, as if to signal her allegiance.

 

[AmethystRoze]

She nodded. "will your family notice your disappearance?"

 

[JessieSune]

"No, for I am able to check in with them using a form of Aura. As long as I continue to report that I am well, they will not fear for me, and I will continue to do this while under your command in order to avoid there being any suspicion or trouble. I will not allow even them to interfere with your directive, mistress."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Thank you Liese, though I don't want you harming them in any way, you should know that the reason I do this is to help me protect the entire forest, and the source of it's power. If at any point you would see one of your siblings and they are being obstructive, that you will return to normal, but remember all of what has happened." She finished before leaving her mind.

 

[JessieSune]

(So in other words "If your sibling freaks out I will release you, and either way you're going to remember being controlled when we're done." ??)

Once back in the regular world, you see that Simon has made himself comfortable on Liese's shoulder, and is in fact snuggled up to her neck and beginning to snooze. Balaa has shifted positions a few times and looks at you with a smile.

"Quite a prize you captured, Danielle. You might consider trying some new things with her -- although placing yourself in her body would be hard, you could still try it."

Liese holds still, standing at attention other than her ears twitching from time to time.

 

[AmethystRoze]

(Yep! Basically she's like, Well "I don't want your siblings worried and since I released you and you remember why i'm doing it maybe i'll get some new allies!)

She thought about that. "Well … I probably could, but she's a much better fighter than I am, I feel like that would only inhibit right?"

 

[JessieSune]

(How practical )

"I don't advise you try to control her body when you go out to work on guarding the orb -- but here in the cave it might be interesting for you to experience life in a Lucario's body. It is a very different feeling from being a Pichu, I assure you."

Simon, meanwhile, starts to snore.

 

[JessieSune]

(He sleep, she beep, it deep)

(I'm so sorry)

"Ok" She says. She imagines the Lucario in a box, like mommy suggested. And strained her eyes some, trying to enter her body.

 

[JessieSune]

Sure enough, Danielle begins to feel taller, and much stronger. She's also a bit colder, but it's not unpleasant. She can sense the presence of others, but not as a psychic -- rather, the energy they give off emanates through the air and is easy to detect. Smells are much stronger now, and when she looks down, she sees a focused Vulpix. The Lucario's single tail swishes back once or twice -- everything feels fast and strong and focused -- and yet very relaxed.

Simon hasn't even noticed the change and continues to doze even as Liese's mind is replaced by Danielle's.

"You're quite a bit taller, my dear," says Balaa with a light chuckle.

 

[AmethystRoze]

She moved a little, getting used to the taller body being bipedal was really weird. "This is strange." she said trying to walk, before stumbling almost immediately.

 

[JessieSune]

"Careful!" Balaa laughs. "Don't want to hurt your catch!"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"sorry, this is just so strange, at least with Simon his legs were so tiny that it was ahrd to mess up but with this I have to be so careful." She said, still taking in this strange feeling.

 

[JessieSune]

"Learning to occupy the various shapes and sizes of other Pokemon is indeed a challenge, one which takes lots of practice. Does it feel nice, though?"

As she speaks you narrowly avoid stabbing your hand with the horn Liese's chest.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Ah!" she says as she avoids spearing herself. "It feels strange, and it definitely giver you a new perspective." she said smilng, and nuzzling her friend that was on her shoulder.

 

[JessieSune]

"Do you feel comfortable trying to use a move of hers?"

For a moment Danielle can sense another presence but then it fades.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"I'm not sure I know how" She said taking Pichu gently in her arms before setting him down. "But I can try." She always wanted to do that aura thingy, and she treid to create a sphere of it

 

[JessieSune]

Sure enough, ball of energy appears in the Lucario's hands. It's not large, but it gives off a slight hum to indicate its active power.

"That's nice, Danielle!" Balaa nods approvingly just as Simon stirs.
