"Oh, okay. I guess I just forgot. I like bitter foods. They're my favorite!" He smiles, eager to please, as always. "I wish I had some right now..."

She tutted just a little, this seemed to not work at all. "Actually you do like sweet foods" She said , maybe a quick reversal?

 

[JessieSune]

Danielle can actually sense the stress his mind feels at being switched back again, but he doesn't resist.

"Sweet foods. Right! I like those. Golly, I wonder how I forgot just how much I love those! Now I'm all hungry..."

A look at his eyes shows there's very little of his mind in the driver's seat.

She stops the exercise, her eyes returning to normal color.

 

[JessieSune]

It doesn't seem to change anything for Simon, however -- he remains hypnotized, staring blankly ahead. The lights are on but nobody's home.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Simon? your free now...." She said looking at him slightly worried

 

[JessieSune]

He nods, but otherwise doesn't move.

"I'm...free..."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"You can stop being hypnotized now." She said, starting to grow worried.

 

[JessieSune]

"I...can...stop...being....hypnotized..."

He repeats what you say.

 

[AmethystRoze]

She was really worried now, though an idea sprang to mind. "You can stop being hypnotized whenever you want." she said, trying to control her beathing.

 

[JessieSune]

His eyes begin to clear up a bit, and he nods a few times.

"Whenever I want..."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Now wake up" She wanted to yell but didn't want to wake up mommy.

 

[JessieSune]

He does.

"Whoa...hi, Danielle! How'd I do?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

She didn't want to crush his feelings, but couldnt lie. "Well... you fell under really fast but we might've made progress!"

 

[JessieSune]

"Oh, really? Guess I'm kinda needing practice."

He giggles. "I don't even remember anything!"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Well at least you tried! I could feel resistance" She said but kept her voice down.

 

[JessieSune]

"You did? How much?"

 

[JessieSune]

"I think once it happens my mind just stops holding memories or something, so I never know that I'm being controlled, and I don't remember what I did after the fact."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"A little" she admitted "But that's more than before!"

 

[JessieSune]

"Do you think I'll ever actually be so strong I'll be able to resist all the way? I'm not sure I want that..."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Well I think now that if you wanted you could leave my hypnosis whenever you want, if I let you. But I doubt you would be able to resist."

 

[JessieSune]

"I see," he replies. "I guess I sounded kinda weird just now, huh?"

He tilts his head a bit.

 

[AmethystRoze]

She hadn't given it much thought. "It is a little weird now that you mention it"

 

[JessieSune]

"Well, you see..." he stumbles over his words a bit... "I want to...to be there for you...and if you're ever in trouble -- I'd rather you just make me help directly than spend all that time trying to get me to understand so I can help...ya know?"

He blushes a bit.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Well I don't think you need to be hypnotized to help" She says getting closer to him. "You helped me plenty when you weren't hypnotized." She said, referencing the time at the river.
