"That is indeed a major event. I see he may not have been mentally prepared for it...in fact, I'm not even sure you were." Balaa picks you both up, her eyes glistening.

"You must know life and death are a part of the natural cycle of things, but two as young as you are should not..." her voice trails off -- she seems unsure what to say, and instead her eyes glow.

"Peace. Be at peace."

Simon takes a deep breath and almost yawns.

Danielle follows suit and nearly yawns, she knows what happened (If that's ok) but is fine with it, used to her mommy comforting her.

 

[JessieSune]

"When the two of you go training, you don't have to hurt others. Remember, a guardian only uses violence when absolutely necessary."

Her tails wrap around the both of you, filling you both with warmth.

Danielle was efficiently comforted, but still felt bad for the poor Pichu. "Thanks mommy"

"That said, I did tell you to go hunting. I owe you an apology for not realizing the full implications of such an attempt. As a result, I hope you will both forgive me for my advice being so poor."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"It's fine mommy" she said slightly sadly "It was my idea.... so it was my fault." She thought, her inner voice sounding shaky even.

 

[JessieSune]

"We are predators. You did what any Vulpix would be expected to do. But neither of you were prepared because I have not taught you enough. Therefore I'm going to ask you to forget today. Tomorrow we'll try something different."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Ok." She said simply snuggling closer to some of the tails, comforting herself.

Simon, however, is still sad looking.

"I did very poorly today for Danielle...I must strive to be a better mother in the future..."

 

[AmethystRoze]

She eventually couldn't fall asleep at first and decided to look into Simon's mind again.

 

[JessieSune]

Inside his mind are troubled thoughts.

"Am I...bad? Do I deserve to be punished or... if I really did that...I must be wrong...why has no one become angry with me? What...ungh, my head hurts..."

He rolls around in his own mind while you observe. Perhaps hypnosis would be appropriate...

She felt really bad for the little mouse. Maybe if I put him to sleep he'll feel better. She tried to use hypnosis

It does seem to help. His thoughts quiet and his breathing becomes more regular.

"I...guess...."

 

[AmethystRoze]

She decided to leave the poor thing alone, if he needs help mommy will know what to do. She snuggled into mommies tails and falls asleep.

The morning greets you with Balaa licking Danielle on the head while Simon watches.

"Morning, dear. Time to begin training some more."

"Good morning mommy" Danielle replied, loving the attention she was getting from mommy

"Are you feeling okay enough to try some more control skills today?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Y...yeah but im not sure that Simon is though." She responded

 

[JessieSune]

"What do you mean, Danielle?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"It seems like he's resisting a tiny bit more recently, and, he's emotionally instable." She responded

 

[JessieSune]

"Resistance over time is normal. That's why you have to build up your power. Instead of letting it deter you, take it as a challenge. Besides, today we'll be playing tug of war with him, so you'll need to be in the right mindset. As for emotions, those are easy to reset."

She offers a smile with this.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Yeah but what if he notices? I don't want him to not like me...…"

 

[JessieSune]

"How many times must I remind you, Danielle? He's your Pichu -- and besides, you've seen his mind. He's going to like you regardless. If all else fails you can just reset him. Don't be afraid of what others will think -- it's why I taught you to be able to change it."

"What are we doing today?" asks the curious Pichu.
