Name: (What shall we call you?)
Race: (Other races will be open to players eventually. For now everyone is "Son/Daughter of the Emperor" dependent on gender.)
Gender: (Male, female, or unknown? This refers to your character biologically.)
Age: (Standard Terran years in most cases. For Primarchs this will left with "N/A" as there is no telling how long they were in the warp.)
Appearance: (What do you look like? Primarily how your character looks without their armor, but that may also be included. This is to give players an idea in their mind about each other.)
Rank: (Primarch, Space Marine, etc. Everyone is a Primarch to begin this roleplay.)
Personality: (What makes you who you are? Likes? Dislikes? Timid or outgoing? Be descriptive.)
Homeworld: (As Primarchs, this will be the place where your gene-sons come from upon discovery and where most of your gene-seed will be stored.)
History: (Tell me about you. I wanna know how you lived on your planet as a Primarch. How did you conquer it? Did you even conquer it? Do note that all Primarchs conquered their planet or ruled it by the end except for Angron. How did the meeting with the Emperor go? Did you challenge him to an eating and drinking contest? Maybe a hunting contest? Perhaps you already even knew about him or were already in contact? Let me know.)

Name: Ixia
Race: Primarch
Gender: Female
Age: N/A
Appearance:
H7eJjTf.jpg

Rank: Primarch
Personality: Ixia is a rather friendly person much more friendly with her forces than many primarchs finding that overly strict ritual and protocol gets in the way more than anything. When dealing with normal humans she often is able to get a bit closer than many of her brothers, though never is she as popular as the angel. She has a love of technology that even a tech priest might find a bit weird and will persue any form of technology she can, human or xenos. The warp and psykers are not things she care for, they are far to unreliable and thus welcomed the creed of nikia. While normally a calm and caring person nothing angers Ixia faster than the mechnicus and it is best for their health she is kept away from them and their idiotic worship. Ixia has actually taken this a bit to far and has sometimes gone to newly discovered forge worlds and wasted her time to convert them away from their worship to actually understanding machines, this has worked a few times. When it comes to her brothers she gets along with most, though she has a very bad relationship with Mortarion, Magnus, and logar. It is a surprise to many but she is actully veyr good at handling Angron able to calm him and lessen the nails effects.

Homeworld: Solrus, More of a system than a singular planet as there are 6 inhabited and teraformed worlds in the system all linked.

History: Ixia like her siblings was stolen from their father's lab and cast adrift in the warp. It seems however that the seals on her pod might not have been complete or at least not fully effective as the emperor did not plan for a daughter. Ixia would land far in the area know as the segmentum Tempestus. Solrus was located near area known as the Veiled region or the Garon Nebula. This system had long been lost even before the age of strife a warp storm had isolated the world, though given its age the exact cause of the storm is unknown and why it lasted so long. The world of Solrus from which the system got it's name was a world untouched by the strife of the galaxy, where other storms might bring madness and mutation this one only brought isolation, as if it was a wall there was no way in or out of the system. Where for many systems this isolation would one day spell disaster, because the dark age of technology had not ended, because the men of iron had yet to turn on their makers, this isolation ended up a blessing. The system cut off at the height of it's technology and already far from other homes of humanity was self sufficient and got to not surfer the fall of most other worlds.

ixia crashing into the world was at first thought to be a meteor from the warp, though those that went to investigate were surprised to find a child. As they were not savages the people understood somewhat what had happened, though like many of her siblings it was apparent to all after moments that Ixia was no normal human. These people would take this strange child to the ruler of the system, an ancient AI called MOTHER. Long ago the system had found humans untrustworthy and easily corruptible when left in positions of power thus they constructed MOTHER to help guide them at first as an advisor then slowly given more and more power. MOTHER it turned out had been a wise and good ruler over all, though not always completely honest to her charges. When MOTHER scanned the child and did a few tests she could tell that Ixia was the product of extremely advanced and sophisticated gene craft, that meant she was made for a purpose and whoever made her had high technology like them.

ixia would be learn and grow rapidly soon being taller and smarter than all but MOTHER itself. She would soon become the leader of the system's armed forces which at most ran off a few lost Xenos. Ixia would never actually take leadership from MOTHER or at least never meant to but MOTHER would slowly cede more and more responsibility to Ixia till she was running the planet and MOTHER was just an advisor. Thus would Ixia's mostly peaceful life continue until the warpstorm that had made travel out of system impossible started to fade. This brought in new threats, Xenos started to invade in earnest only to be thrown out again and again by Ixia and her forces. It was as Ixia was pursuing these Xenos identified as Orks to what she thought was their home planet that she first met her father. There was some misunderstanding as Ixia deployed her Men of iron, but the Emperor sensing his child would call off his forces and the two met.

Ixia would guide the Emperor and his forces to her home and take him to meet MOTHER. the emperor after nearly a day with the machine actually accepted it's exitance, at least he didn't order MOTHER destroyed on the spot, but he was not happy MOTHER could think but the technology it held was something even he wanted. Sadly that dream would be lost because of the bumbling Mechanicus who saw AI as a demon infesting the machine and tried to exorcise it. This lead to them Destroying the very technology that was the reason for their existence. This also lead to Ixia in a fit or pure rage bare handily killing the Magos, the tech priests, and the skitarri forces with them. This incident has lead to the Mechnicus and Ixia never working together her not even allowing tech priests on her ships or with in her forces having to rely on things from her home system instead.

Unique Traits

Tech knowledge: Ixia has an almost unrivaled knowledge and understanding of machines with only the Emperor truly being better than her and possibly the fabricator general, if he were free of dogma.

Mother's Embrace: A set of 4 tentacle like mechandentrites that are highly advanced beyond tech priest version. They are attached to her spine and almost seem to move with a mind of their own. Each one is equipped with a digi weapon and repair functions.

Solrus's Ward: The power armor that Ixia wears is much lighter than her bothers almost more so than normal power armor. This golden almost second skin, however is just if not more protective than even terminator armor, sadly the method to make it was lost with Mother. The Armor has several shield generators that emit something akin to a miniature void shields. It also has more advanced auspex and sensors allowing Ixia to better direct her forces and have a more compete understanding of the battle field.

The shard sword: While at first seeming to be a strange power sword seemingly made for a crystal like substance the shard blade is far more than it appears, using arcane archotech the blade is able to splinter with a mental command from Ixa and the shards can move independently turning from a single blade into a storm of piecing shards.

Technopathy: all primachs have some level of psyker powers and for Ixia this psyker power takes the form of the power to control machines and manipulate them.

Name: Grimwald Gerisson
Race: Son of the Emperor
Gender: Male
Age: N/A
Appearance:
1600563613653.png
Rank:
Primarch
Personality: Grimwald instills loyalty in his men by his sheer presence. Not because he cares for each and every individual soldier in he Legion, but because he is often seen slumming it with them in the front, putting his life in as much danger as them. In reality, Grimwald just likes a good fight. He's been fighting for as long as he could remember, and he isn't going to be stopping anytime soon. This leads him to be somewhat short tempered, foolish, stubborn, and otherwise dimwitted compared to his other siblings such as Ixia and Magnus.
Homeworld: Senultis
History: Sent hurling through the warp, Grimwald's stasis pod came screeching through the atmosphere of the Primitive World of Senultis to land in a clearing where one of the many warbands of that planet were just happening to pass through. They would have quickly simply killed the child and salvaged the stasis pod had Grimwald not grabbed a hold of one of their spears and killed (albeit by accident) one of their own with ease. And now in need of a warrior and seeing the great potential of the babe, they snatched him up and claimed him as one of their own.

For years violence and bloodshed was all Grimwald knew, until he somehow became the leader of his warband. From his position of leadership he set about on a great campaign of subjugation for those that would submit, and exterminations for those that wouldn't. In a year he had founded a great city-state, in two a kingdom, and by the third an empire that spanned the length of the continent, with ships being constructed in search of new lands. This maelstrom of conquest was followed by an era of technological advancement. By the time the Emperor came for him, his people were beginning to experiment with black powder and the steam engine.

But Grimwald would not leave the kingdom he had worked so hard for so easily. And just as he had done upon taking control of that small warband, he offered the Emperor two options, submit, or die. The Emperor chose neither, for within but a few breaths, Grimwald was on the ground with a sword at his throat and the Emperor in all his glory standing above him. Then the Emperor gave Grimwald two options, serve him or perish. Grimwald, with a wry smile and seeing the irony of the situation, having done much the same to his foes on his conquest, accepted the Emperor's offer of service.

And so Grimwald was given command of the 2nd legion. At first, he was impressed by them, their advanced technology and seeming immortality on the battlefield awing the Primarch from, by the time the Emperor found him, a Feudal World. But when he sparred against one, then two, then several and several more, he was unimpressed with their 'bolters' and reliance on what he deemed to be "small weapons for small men" and began training them in the use of larger, two handed weapons. Soon their arrival on the battlefield was heralded by a storm of heavy bolter fire and the gleam of great weapons. Alongside this training of heavy weapons, Grimwald instilled his host with a stubborn determination to not give up any land they claimed as their own, making the enemy pay a bloody price for each step the Dreyre Jotunn took back.

Unique Traits :

The Flescslitan, or Flesh Render in Low Gothic, is a massive two handed sword, forged so as to not appear comically small in the hands of all but the largest of Primarch. It's weight alone could make it an effective maul, but the speed and skill with which Grimwald wields it makes it a fearsome weapon, with reports of him cleaving the heads off of several enemies with but a single swing. The cutting edge is only enhanced further by the archeotech housed within, giving the blades edge an impossibly fine sharpness that never seems to crack or needing to be sharpened.

Gifted to him by the Emperor of Mankind and his father, the Light of Dawn terminator armor is fitted with a hyper-deceleration field making him all but impervious to ranged fire, fitting in with his up close and personal fighting style wonderfully.

Name: Cassius Titus
Race: Primarch
Gender: Male
Age: N/A
Appearance:
d8oe1dv-340bd8ec-7ad2-4e5f-9c7c-38bd6c552276.jpg
Rank: Primarch

Personality: Cassius unlike many if not all his siblings, is a forgiving soul. Despite this, he is also wrathful and will not hesitate to put down any and all whom seek to do harm to his own. Even when he lead a revolution on his homeworld, he offered mercy to those who would accept, and was even kind to them, despite the treatment he and his psychically blank brothers and sisters were subjected to. While many pull away in fear from him and his own, he still tries to be kind and welcoming, knowing it is his genes that make he and his sons repulsive to the psychically gifted.

Homeworld: Tenebrus

History: Cassius like his siblings was stolen into the warp, If only briefly due to the rare gene the Emperor failed to notice upon his creation. Unlike his sibling whom are psychically gifted, Cassius was the opposite. Instead, he is what many in the imperium would call a Psychic Blank, or Black Soul. Because of this, he was almost immediately ejected from the warp, and onto a world in the Halo Stars. That world happened to be the planet Tenebrus. It's Moon tidally locked, the world is in near constant twilight. Upon his discovery, he was tested, and his pariah gene was found. This in turn had him sent to one of the many Pariah Exile colonies on the planet. Treated poorly by the "Normal" Citizens, and forced to live in squalor like the rest of his kind, Cassius somehow remained hopeful, for a better future. This of course would come, when the young primarch set about forming a rebellion. within twenty years, he and the thousands of his exiled Pariahs attacked, sparing the civilians, and butchering the nobility, as their psyker powers washed over him like a faint breeze against a mountain. In a matter of days through coordinated attacks, and capture of strategic areas, Cassius was seated within the Lord's office, the previous planetary lord's lifeless carcass lying upon the floor, his own psychic energy and life force drained from him.
After a decade of securing his rule and bringing stability back to the planet, he focused on advancing his people, and to begin operations on mining their mineral rich moon, Custodia. It wouldn't be for another three decades before the Imperium arrived on his world. Rallying his forces, and sending in a vanguard of his elite and deadly Pariahs, the two forces met, only for the imperials to stand down. Gazing into the distance, the Primarch looked upon a man, resplendent in gold armour and as large as he was. As their eyes met, Cassius could actually feel the mental prying of the Emperor of Man Kind, and despite his null state, could not resist him fully. It was then he knew this was his father. Bending the knee, Cassius swore fealty to the Emperor, and the imperium. For this, he was given command of the 11th Legion, The Astral Swords. He of course quickly changed the name to the Nullifiers legion, and immediately had his elite blanks become astartes.

Unique Traits :
Omega Negative - The highest anti-psyker level. Psychic attacks have no effects, and his mere presence among psykers and daemons can outright kill them. The only one able to dominate him being his father.

Soul Eater - Cassius has mastered his unique abilities to not only drain his foes of psychic energy, but their very life force itself in either a directed attack or a wide area.

Glaive Animus - Crafted with the aide of the Emperor, the weapon crackles with null energy, drawing in the psychic energy of nearby enemies. It also has a special "Arcane Eye" that can further direct his anti-psyker powers in a beam, burning out the minds of his enemies.

Primarch Name: Ardimydas, the Bone Angel

Physical Description: An incredibly pale face marred with scars from constant campaigning. His body itself is heavily modified, three of his four limbs being entirely mechanical, as well as much of his chest. His armor matches that of his Legion, being a bone white with a regal gold and purple trim. His helmet itself is in the shape of a human skull, intricately written in
script are the stories of the men that served underneath him during the retaking of his homeworld, many of these men's children he would later recruit into the Gore Hounds.

Personality Description: Ardimydas holds an an all consuming fixtation on the ideals of purity and loyalty, seeing his father as the only being powerful enough to bring order to the galaxy at large. His obsession with honor and loyalty has influenced the attitude of his marine as well, whom react quite violently to any sign of 'disloyalty' they may see, imagined or otherwise. The legion is as if not more so as obsessed as their primarch, violently scouring the life from planets
they may see, imagined or otherwise. The legion is as if not more so as obsessed as their primarch, violently scouring the life from planets infested with aliens and others they view as too heretical to be brought into the fold of the great Imperium. This particular emphasis on loyalty and brotherhood stems from his homeworld. On Primos VII, one could not survive on their own in the hostile wasteland, plagued by constant alien patrols and violently aggressive wildlife. One needed a team, a family, to watch their back on the desolate hellscape that was his homeworld. Betrayal was punished swiftly and without mercy, alien collaborators were executed if they were lucky. Banished, if they were not. Loyalty was rewarded, with those that stood alongside the scav-chiefs even through the toughest of hardships being rewarded with higher positions within the clan. This attitude influenced Ardimydas immensely. Those who willingly consort with the alien are to be put to death, no matter their station. There are no exceptions to this rule, excluding desperate temporary military alliances in the face of mutual annihilation or the xenos willingly bend the knee to Humanity, to be purged sometime in the future once the greater threats are handled. Loyalty was rewarded. Those who showed they believed whole-heartedly in the Imperium and would follow the Primarch anywhere found themselves rising in the ranks to command their fellow Marines with zeal and pride.

Primarch Flaws: Ardimydas is incredibly arrogant, believing himself the purest of the Primarchs, even beyond his brothers and sisters in terms of righteousness. His intense loyalty and emphasis on purity can also lead to conflicts with some of his more open minded siblings, leading him to lashing out. Though he may not outwardly show it, Ardimydas craves praise from his father and is somewhat upset over the lack of recognition he and his Legion recieve for their accomplishments.

Homeworld Description: Primos VII was a death world, coated in toxic mist. What little humans survived there scraped by underneath their cruel xeno overlords, scavenging from the nigh-infinite number of crashed ships that coated the planets surface. They subsisted in small bunkers that dotted the surface of the planet, while the xenos lived in grand walled cities, feasting and revelling in their excess and preverseness. It was in the toxic wastes that his pod landed, cutting a streak of color that could be seen even amongst the insidious smog that coated the planet. He was taken in by a group of scavengers before the xenos could dispatch a force to investigate the strange sighting.

Homeworld Conquest: Ardimydas's campaign to recover his homeworld was a long and brutal one. Leading only a few dozen men from the scavenger group that had found him, he began his guerilla campaign. At first, the xenos took little notice, it was nothing but a mere annoyance, a few patrols lost here, a few supplies stolen there... but within a scant few months it began to escelate. What had been a few lost patrols turned into a few lost companies, and what had been a few lost caches became metric tons of high grade salvage and explosive devices. The xenos overlord reacted with great anger, ordering retribution strikes on the local populace in an effort to strike fear in the heart of whoever was behind this rebellion. This seemed to have the opposite effect. The humans of Primo VII rallied to Ardimydas's banner like a moth to a flame. What had once been a low level insurgency turned into a full scale uprising. The xenos were sluggish to react, their nobles and politicians too wrapped up in their own excesses to pay attention to a workers revolt. Outpost by outpost, city by city, the tyrant-kings empire began to collapse. By the time he managed to mobilize what remained of his security forces, it was too late. He was at the gates of the Capitol. The one who had led every assualt. Skew every assassin and strike force he had sent. The Hero of the People, the Starchild, Ardimydas. The Bone Angel.

Death.

Within days, the city was overwhelmed, the security forces that remained were either slaughtered or fled alongside their employers in the enormous colony ships that had brought them to this proverbial gold mine of riches and salvage.

And thus, the tyrant-king was alone.

The xenos overlord was unlike the rest of his people, hardened by centuries of putting down coups and surviving dozens, if not hundreds, of assassination attempts, his body was all but gone, replaced with cybernetic augments scavenged from the planet itself. The duel lasted for nearly thirty minutes. The tyrant-king was slain. But at a price. With his last breath he had stabbed Ardimydas with a poisoned blade, one of exotic and incredible potency. One that would haunt Ardimydas for the rest of his life. The Emperor himself could not remove the shard of the blade from his sons body, not without him being killed in the process.

Discovery Timeframe: The Great Expansion

First Solo Campaign: Ardimydas would find himself in control of a legion of Space Marines, the Void Guardians within a month of his discovery. He was a skillful commander, and held a burning hatred for all that was inhuman. It did not take long for him to turn his ire upon the many xenos that plagued the Imperiums border worlds. More specifically, the Aeldari. For several long years they crusaded, killing score after score of the treacherous aliens. Dark Eldar, Craftworlders, Exodites, it mattered not who met their blade. The campaign reached its climax when the Void Guardians engaged the Craftworlds main fleet. Though bloodied and battered, the xenos were far from defeated and fought with a renewed ferocity even Soace Marines found suprising. Though they fought well, the Eldar were soon overwhelmed by the superior number and composition of Imperial forces. With the support fleet dismantled, the Legion was free to board the planet sized craft. After a fierce month of close quarters fighting and sustained bombardment from the Legion fleet, the xenos mega-craft was swept clean of any remaining resistance within.

With that campaign, the Void Guardians were dead. Set alight alongside the damnable craftworld.

And so emerged the Gore Hounds.

No longer would they live in the shadows of the other Legions. No longer would their accomplishments go unnoticed. This campaign proved that. This galaxy was theirs to conquer, in the name of their Primarch, Ardimydas.

In the name of their Emperor.

Primarch Skills:

Expert Duelist: Ardimydas is an expert duelist, possibly the best out of all his brothers and sisters in sheer technical skill. He moves with an unnatural speed, even by the standards of the other Primarchs, almost seeming to predict his enemies moves.

Stealth: Ardimydas, despite his great size, is incredibly stealthy, capable of infiltrating even the most well defended of fortresses with ease, not only because of his innate stealth, but his incredible forgetability. Even other primarchs are somewhat affected, it taking some effort to remember his name, bar long periods of interaction. The effect is far greater on mortals and even on Astartes, their eyes glazing over and unable to remember who they were talking to or what they're seeing. His sons, however, seem immune to this affect, remembering each other and their Primarch with great clarity.

Endurant: Ardimydas is incredibly hardy, capable of withstanding hits that even his brothers and sisters would find hard pressed to take.

Psyker Talent: Ardimydas displays no form of active psychic talent, though his level of stealth is a passive example, including his aura of forgetability and possibly his skill with the blade.

Equipment:

Bulwark- A customized suit of Tartaros plate that includes a jump pack and many, many, drug injectors designed to increase his performance and heal any sort of injury he may incur. In addition, it is heavily reinforced with extra armor plating and shield generators.

A Warrior's Shame- His scale cloak. To avoid it being damaged in combat, Ardimydas requested it be made out of adamantine scale plates. A purple covering disguises this fact. The scales are engraved with tiny letterings, the names of Astartes who have lost their lives underneath his command. It is with a heavy heart he looks through after action reports and adds to this collection of engravings.

Swan Song- A master-crafted power sword, given to him by the Emperor himself. It is a cut above even the finest of power weapons, capable of cutting through terminator armor with little effort.

Last Breath- A master crafted plasma pistol, unusual in that it is built with two barrels, side by side.

Primarch Stances:
- Xenos Relations: All to be killed. The galaxy is to be that of humanity and humanities alone.
- Abhumans: Close enough to the human form
- The Mechanicum- A necessary evil required for humanity to grasp the stars. When the time comes, they will be dealt with however the Emperor sees fit.
- Psykers: A possibly useful tool, should nonetheless be tightly controlled.
- State Atheism: Whatever the Emperor commands
- Ways of War: Strike without warning
- Automation: A danger if left uncheck. Heavy supervision required.
- Spoils of War: Should be used in the field. Once this war is over th Mechanicum can have them.

Legion Details

Legion Name: Once known as the Void Guardians, now known as the Gore Hounds.

Legion Number: XVII

Legion Heraldry: Purple, white, and gold. The colors of his former clan on Primos VII that were the first to join him on his mission to liberate the planet from their foul influence.

Geneseed flaw: The Rot. Slowly overtaking even the hardiest marines, leaving their limbs decaying and their organs failing within two hundred years, the condition only worsened underneath Ardimydas, leading to many a veteran replacing their limbs with cybernetic ones, with the oldest amongst the legion being almost entirely mechanical in nature.

Specialities: The Gore Hounds specialize in lightning strikes and overwhelming force, appearing en-mass to end the fight as quickly as possible. An emphasis on melee combat and terminators are also present. Every veteran of the legion is heavily augmented, not out of choice, but necessity due to their geneseed flaw.

Organisation: The legion is organized into 10 grand companies of ten thousand, each led by a Grand Marshal, further divided into twenty companies of five thousand, led by a High Marshal, each consists of five cohorts of a thousand marines, a cohort being led by a Marshal. A cohort is divided into ten battle lines, consisting of a hundred marines each, led by a Centurion. A specialist division is led by Ardimydas himself, consisting of a thousand marines drawn from the entire legion. To denote their elite status, they don blackened armor with a singular red fist, an honor mark denoting acts of bravery in the field. They are known as the Blackwatch.

Notable Members:

Corastek Vorlan: Marshal of the Blackwatch, confidant and friend to Ardimydas himself. He is entombed in a heavily modified Contemptor chassis, having been injured in the line of duty.

Sertan Jerica: High Librarian and responsible for training much of the Legions psychically inclined recruits.

Lorest Terak: Well known as a loose cannon amongst the Legion, his acts of suicidal bravery and general disregard for the chain of command both impresses and frustrates many of the upper echelons of the Legion in equal measure. A frequent and popular contender in the fight pits.

Historical Campaign:

Purge of Slakalt: Perhaps the largest and most well known battle the Void Guardians ever participated in, they engaged an Ork force alongside a large contingent of Imperial Navy warships. The campaign took many months, but by the end of it, every single Ork ship in the sector was totally obliterated, not a single one making it out alive.

I believe I got most of it down

Name: Xaozanus Xilliarksis Aethericist Zeth;
Race: Transhuman;
Gender: Unknown;
Age: 312;
Rank: Ur-Magister (Archmagos) of Zhao-Akkad, Magos Admiral of Akkadian Mechanicum;
Appearance:
6e424ac34b638a7460d9ceb18190434f.jpg
Xaozanus Xilliarksis Zeth is an ancient creature, rife with augmentations of both organic and mechanic nature. Little of it's birth-body remains, yet what lingers is kept either hidden or protected beneath the bronze and emerald robes. Flesh-sculptors and Organicists tailored the remains to suit androgynous image, reinforcing the mystery of Xao's true sex.

This Lord/Lady of Mechanicus is 2.2 meters tall and incredibly slender considering it's the weight of over 350 kilograms.

Not many have seen beneath its heavy hood. However, beneath the hood lies a face of a middle-aged human, deceptively appearing unaugmented at the first glance, it's eyes hidden by two blue crisscrossed bands of cloth and sub-dermal electoos at the left cheek that shift from complete translucence to opacity of azure-blue at seemingly irregular intervals. It's skin tone is brown, of sun-burnt leather and appearing healthy, slightly creased around a beaked nose where it's smile lines can be seen. Following it's dark complexity with a raven-black hair chained by a yellow circlet at his brow carrying a red gem. The strands of hair, indistinguishable from the fine onyx wires that snake to the back of Xaozanus's neck and beneath the robe.

Even its hands are hidden from the curious, gloved in segmented aegium gauntlets. Wherever there is any flesh beneath them also remains a mystery.

This Archmagos wears the verdigris-blue robes of Zhao-Akkad, with rust-red on the inside, displaying their allegiance to Mars. Solarite-woven threads interweave with the original material of the robe at places around Xaozanus's body forming geometrical objects and Hex Sigils sacred to the Omnissiah, as well as dotted-patterns of major constellations seen from the surface of The Red Planet.

Personality:

Both its exotic yet reticent appearance; exacting yet courteous manner creates an almost tangible waft of mystery around this senior Techpriest. To those familiar with the culture and history of the distant Zhao-Akkad, such a reticent and frustratiing attitude would be expected from the Ur-Magister, seeing as these orange and green-clad Techpriests come from a highly isolated and divisive world. Yet despite the fierce streak of independence that follows the Mechanicum Priests from this verdant Forge World, Xaozanus will not allow it to get in the way when the needs of the Omnissiah's Crusade are in question nor when needs of its own personal faith require it. It is principled, an outcast but not a blasphemer.
Learning from its own exploratory voyages in the deep void that necessities of the Quest for Knowledge often do not account for personal pride and boundaries - no matter one's stature and rank, Xaozanus has shown little regard for those with entitled and authoritative personalities. "Weakness of flesh", as the Ur-Magister names it, "is to be contained and controlled".
Seeing itself as an amalgamation of all the accumulated experiences, this Explorator often goes out of its way to consider others, reasoning that everyone carries some amount of unique data. Such a stance often results in Xaozanus accepting petitions and audiences from everyone needing it, a habit that some of the more planetbound of its peers consider a complete waste of time.
Hardened by life unforgiving of mistakes, despite not shying from social communication, Xaozanus will always pick a more practical, direct approach to the issue, rather than get embroiled in a more diplomatic yet protracted affair. Such approaches are often best taken directly too in its mind, so when battles calls this Ur-Magister can often be found at the frontlines, practicing its many techno-arcane art, lest it grows rusty.

Homeworld & History:

Zhao-Akkad developed during the later centuries of the fabled Dark Age of Technology. As the original colonists settled deep within the planet, leaving the surface to the incredibly voracious flora and predatory fauna, this strand of humanity slowly developed, resembling a shape of of the distant Martian society. However, where Sacred Mars developed in the overpopulated Sol System, Zhao-Akkad developed slowly and in isolated for several centuries, forming a veritable kingdom within its home system and surrounding, mineral rich locales.

Yet isolation after the collapse of galactic societies pays a heavy price and the verdant Forge World suffered attacks both from within and without. Civil war, issues with planetary travel, emergence of psykers among its populace and last, but not the least xeno predations. All of this formed a highly divisive society, each Forge Temple cut off from each other lest waste of precious resources be spent on ambition of birckering Magisters. With their connecting tunnels sealed and communications jammed, communication with the outside world was only possible through the Magister Domini - the Fabricator-General of the world. In this atomization, each Forge Temple was a world unto itself, both self-reliant and enjoying freedoms for solitary pursuit upon the Path of Knowledge to such a degree that it is usually unheard of on other Forge World.

When Mechanicum Survey Teams arriving during Zhao-Akkad' discovery and subsequent joining to the Great Crusade, they were more than surprised to find several, wildly different patterns for an armament with the same schema. To a lesser extent, this loose confederation of Forge Temples continued well into the Great Crusade, in the end forming divergent cultures, technology and sub-sects, yet all of them appearing as a distinctive facet upon a diamond that is the verdant Zhao-Akkad.

In this climate, Tech-Adept Xao climbed the ranks of the Hierakos, displaying incredible curiosity and enthusiasm in the field of immateriology and lateral thinking. These proved useful in the underground laboratoriums and research shrines of its home Forge Temple as Akkadian psykers were often killed on detection. This solution was short lived in Forge' history as the development of Psykana departments, saw this euthasia as wasteful. It was young Xao who managed to convince the incumbent Forge' Ur-Magister to stop with the practice and second the psychic capital to the budding research as its lover was found developing psychic potential late in life and was subsequently euthanized.

This pain, stubborness and curiosity drove young Xao in developing with its fellow peers several improvements upon various cyber-servitoria and battle-automata, the psychic components adding a layers of interconnection previously impossible with the conventional vox technology.
With Crusade' arrival and gifts of noosphere spreading from distant Mars came also oversight of Martian Magi and Imperium officials. Despite being partially shielded in their Quest by Thousand Sons, a Space Marine Legion of Prospero, the constraints were still felt.
Now a cabal of Magisters, Xao and a gathering of colleagues decided to serve the budding Imperium among the stars, reasoning that their research into the empyric-arcana can be best served in the deeper isolation among the stars. Embarking from the homeworld via an Imperial convoy and later on an Explorator Fleet, Magister Xao and its brothers and sisters disappeared in the void. What occurred out there in the remained unknown to the Akkadian Rubricators, the Expedition's data-stacks largely left barren of vital information but what its sailors brought to the Magister Domini upon arrival secured their place in the Hierakos of Zhao-Akkad.

Some of them were given land, resources, ships, Expeditionary Fleet details, but one among them received an unprecedented and unexpected boon for its age. A title of an Akkadian Archmagos and a starship. The specifics of this event were intentionally kept hidden, but from what is known is that the newly ordained Ur-Magister was instructed never to return.
One stage of its Quest over, Ur-Magister Xaozanus accompanied by several of its longstanding friends, left in exile the verdant Forge World, and seemingly never returned again.

Unique Traits :

- Xaozanus Expedition's Quest - Given the august rank of its leader as well as it's reticent, long-voyaging nature, this gathering of starships is composed of several vessels both Mechanicum and Imperial that seek mutual protection as they travel. After a time, many of these vessels decided to join the Expedition, trading the lives of relative comfort and safety planetside for adventure and freedom of the void.
On the Quest for Knowledge for decades at the time, this fleet consists of seasoned voyagers coming from many walks of life, is self-sustaining, and is well equipped to combat the many perils of the unforgiving void.

- Akkadian Psykana - a Divisio in charge of researching the psychic mysteries found within the Great Engine, Xao, and its fellow Magisters were pioneers in the fields of immateriology on their world. Due to Zhao-Akkad's highly isolationist nature and subsequent further development in the Expedition's voyage, saw the level of expertise and sophistication in this field of techno-arcana developing in directions usually not seen on Forge Worlds. This resulted in an unusually high presence of sanctioned psychic personnel on board as well as incredibly clear astrotelepathic communion coming from the Expedition. Any further information on the accumulated research has not yet been revealed to anyone outside of the Expedition.

Techno-Arcana in Xaozanus' care:

- Rod of Tomorrow - A gift of the Myrmidons of Venatoria after Xaozanus Expedition aided them in driving back a xeno invasion. The Rod itself is an arcane device whose origin is lost to history. It serves as a teleportarium beacon as well as an anchor in reality, displaying debilitating effect upon the psychic events, activities and psykers. Venatorian Artisans and Empyroteks claimed that inner mechanisms of the Rod were constructed from pure reason and logic, spreading in it's near vicinity a bolstering effect to the materium, negating the energies of the Warp.

Also acts as a walking cane.

Acts as: Teleportation Beacon, Electrostatic Weapon, Power Weapon, Anti-Warp armament.

- Illuminarium - An Archaeotech Volkite Charger. Xaiozanus was never seen firing the weapon, much less reloading it, leading a group of Myrmidons to speculate that the ancient weapon is either broken or draws power from the magnetosphere.

- Omniseekh - a cogitator-assisted sensor-suite, this logic engine of augury and auspex is paired wirelessly with three Sky-Eyes or three small spheres the width of two fingers that act as scouts. Levitating stealthy across the targeted terrain, they are able, upon their return to reconstruct a holographic reconstruction of the target. Wherever this relic is made by the Magos-Admiral or it has found it, remains unknown. However at times, the three Sky Eyes could be found orbiting Xaozanus's form, chirping and buzzing hallowed secrets to the ancient Techpriest.

Acts as: Infoslave Skull, Skull-Swarm, Lithocast Projector.

- Crown of Nonogrammiton - an artifact retrieved from the ruin of Orpheus IX, this item is supposedly a relic utilized by the legendary Mech-Lord Nonogrammiton. The Crown reminds of a circlet housing a red gem. It contains a particularly aggressive Machine Spirit that requires from its wearer strong willpower and high induction in the mysteries of techno-arcana to control.

It was said that the Mech-Lord could control entire maniples of Cybernetica Robots with thought and even slave to his will any form of machine to do his bidding. Whenever that is true or mere fiction remains to be seen, for not much of the fable was validated before Nonogrammiton's untimely demise at the hydraulic appendages of one of his own robotic charges.

Acts as: Cybernetica Controller, Adaptive Logis-Engine.

- Mantle of Dominion - As much a robe of office as well as protective gear, the Mantle of Dominion hides beneath itself a protective mesh of interlocking aegium plates, offering the protection much greater then carapace, yet with none of the bulkiness of power-armor. Conductive of electrical current. Interfaced with Potentia Coil. Possesses a Machine Spirit similar in design to the Blessed Autosimulcara. If given enough time and power, Mantle will repair itself.

Acts as: Aegium War Plate, Mechanicum Protectiva, Nanite Infusion, Electoos.
